    Didn’t get to catch you live, but enjoyed this. My wife developed a strong allergy to local Ontario, Canada wines around 2001. White wine was her only choice until 2008 when we visited South Africa. She noticed the smell of SA red wine was pleasing, tried it successfully and that enhanced our 3 week wonderful visit. She now has red wine regularly, but not Ontario wine. She thought is was Sulphites added to the wine, but I think it is something in the soil. Glad you too found a solution. We hope to be able to return, of course. We are always well treated in SA.

      I hope you get to return too, and maybe try some Badger and Mountain wine while in South Africa!

    So absolutely great to be able to see you, since we can’t see you on Wild Earth,needless to say how much everyone is missing you. But we are following your journey with great interest and appreciate so much these live chats. I also meant to ask what is the exact title of Tristan’s show because I’m not able to find it. Thank,thank you!😊👌❤️

    Camped on the Chobe riverfront at Ihaha in March 2016, site C-8. Just one night. Spectacular viewing with tons of Elephant, Fish Eagle, buffalo... incredible sunset over the river... massive thunderstorm overnight which had us fearing for our lives, plus there were hippo & Elephant ghosting around us in the night... saw a Lion kill up close (Zebra) in the forest on our way out... truly spectacular place

    I am a little late to the show, being on vacation in California with my family right now.....but I just love this one. Funny to mention Tristan and James Richard finding leopards! And we know hangry in my family.....too well....both male and female. Just keep the chocolate and fruit and cheese nearby!

    Kirsten, I get hangry the same way. It is Phase Two in the decline. Phase one I feel like taking a nap, no hunger. Third phase is speaking jibberish.

    3 months in US camping... you could fit a big circle in that time... the northern and then snake back between central and southern.... it's basically a 6 day drive straight across, so plenty of time to see a lot in 3 months.

    Come to India sometime for Tigers.
    Central India is best, with Nagpur as a tiger capital of India.

    my advice, stay OUT of New York and Chicago.....start in Florida....go west across the south.....then depending on the season, come north to southern Illinois up to St.Louis.....maybe Wisconsin (where I am) across to South Dakota.....back south to Nevada then Northern California (not southern).....then get out.

    Strange times in Africa...rain rain rain. Will the number of carnivores noticeably increase, with the great food available for herbivores etc.

    • @JamesHendry
      @JamesHendry  3 роки тому

      They actually decrease (in sightings) because the herbivores spread out due to increase of food and water

    I don’t catch or eat fish for exactly the same reason. It seems cruel to me because the fish fight so hard for their lives & a lot of fish die needlessly for humans to eat some of them
