I have an old CVA Squirrel Rifle, it was my Grandfather's and he built it back in the 1970's. It started off with double set triggers but then they had issues so I modified to single trigger. I replaced the sights a couple of times. It's pretty good out to 50 yards with open sights but on a squirrel I would probably keep to around 40.
I had one of those. About the only gun I REALLY REGRET trading off. It was really accurate and I killed hundreds of ground squirrels with it. It really tears them up. I've killed a lot more than I missed. But alas I wanted a flint lock. So I traded it and bought a big Harpers Ferry flinter. The CVA was a better gun. I now have another .32 shortie in the works with a flint lock on it. Almost no powder or ball, and you can shoot that one all summer.
Love the little. 32s. Just plain lots of fun.
Everybody went.50 cal crazy and the .32's and .45's went the way of the Dodo!! Hard to find one anymore.

Had one in Flint. Wish I never would have sold it! Great video!
Nice 32 caliber. I would like to get one in that caliber. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a fun little rifle. Wonder how it would be shooting something like a colt 32 conical for 49 pocket?
I bought one used. The bore is excellent but needs to be reblued.
I have one of these sitting in my collection I have not used it to hunt yet but I definitely plan to. Need to practice with it more first.
