To everyone complaining... You get the trial so uou can help train FSD. Use the right steering wheel button whenever it fucks up to submit your complaint. I'm in CA , rural area with not many Teslas. I just got an extra 30 days extended on our current trial. So that will make 90 days of trial free this year. Wondering if everyone gets this. Or only people submitting mistakes.
It's nice but its making a lot of mistakes. It slowed down suddenly on the freeway from 75 to 55 for no reason on an open road! I immediately took control🙄, changing lanes when unnecessary, etc. It needs a lot more input and training.
The trust factor required for self-driving takes longer than a month, Tesla should just give Tesla car owners 3 months to 6 months' worth of full self-driving to really get people comfortable with the with the option. Perhaps 1 month is enough for those that drive every day or practically live in their car. My wife and I are always freaking out if the self-driving will slow down when approaching a stop light. It does but it's nerve-wracking until it starts slowing down.
I see what you mean, but I think a month is long enough to get a feel for FSD if you drive everyday. I had 6 months of FSD and got quite comfortable with it. My wife, on the other hand, never liked it. thanks for watching
Sadly, my car hit the curve as soon as I tried FSD this morning. Long scuff in the outer side of the rim. I was in the last parking spot between the concrete curve and an empty parking spot, with the car parked rear inside I set the destination and I went ahead and engage FSD. Tesla came out driving over the concrete curve instead of pulling out enough and then turning. Looks like FSD won't be worth buying for me ever.
@@Octobersrevenge.100% legit, I'm not interested in influencing no body's decisions, I'm just sharing my very disappointing experience. Two years without a scratch in any of my four rims because of my precaution, and sadly it had to happen with FSD. One strange thing that happened was that I used the car’s self-parking feature, and it did a great job overall. However, it did cross into the next parking spot’s lines, but it wasn’t a big deal since that space was empty. I assumed the car would remember the curb when it parked, but when it pulled out, it acted like nothing was there, and I ended up with a long scuff.
Received a 30 day trial when we purchased a new 2024 MY in August and just received another 30 day trial. Biggest problem I have with it is that when engaged, it wants to drive 7-10 miles over the posted speed limit. I’ve set Autopilot speed to “absolute” with “0” over the limit. Anyone know why this is happening? I love the auto park and ASS function, but going 52-55 in a 45 MPH limit won’t work.
I just got a new Tesla and have the trial FSD. Then they applied this new trial the same day that everyone else got. So I lost 1 month worth of FSD free? Is there anyway to get mine extended to factor in I already had the new car FSD trial?
nope checked today and did not see it. I do pay for FSD monthly so maybe it is waiting for that to expire for the month before giving it to me. If not I will cancel the day my month ends to see if I get it. Never had FSD during a free 30-day
I have summon on my car. 2022 M3LR. 2024.32.7 with fsd v12.36.6. You need to enable it under autopilot settings. You will need to update the software to get summon. I have it because I have uIltrasound sensors. Vision only, summon was enabled on software 2024.32.10. Hopefully, they push out an update soon
@@BCTeslaGuy it’s just for 30 days right? Bro it would be really helpful if they give us any of the FSD option for free as we are OG Tesla owners and bought it for higher price? Like maybe free auto park? Lane change? Normal summon?
This trial is worse than the first one. I've only used FSD in the city so far. Speed bumps in my subdivision does not slow down and you can see the speed bump on the screen. If you were to use FSD every day with these speed bumps you would destroy the car. Turning left at a red light no arrow but green light stop start to go stop car coming start to go light turning red stop beyond the line I take control make a fast left hand turn to get out the way. Now pulling out of my subdivision 55 mph speed limit and a blind curve left of my entrance and I'm turning right. Stop at the stop sign no car coming then car coming FSD pulls out pulls out and creeps with a car coming at 60mph took control and put the accelerator to the floor. Summon is great works perfectly just wish it would summon from a much greater distance.
Oh and excessive acceleration when you don't need it and almost always excessive braking which means wear on the brake pads totally unnecessary . FSD NO! But Autosteer I use it on the Interstate all the time don't use it on a 2 lane curvy road on a very sharp turn Autosteer thinks the car in the other lane is in yours and will start a fast deceleration
This happened to me this morning . I had to check and see if they charged my car for fsd
I noticed this morning on my way to work. I just like how the screen looks now while driving with showing more of the surroundings and road lines.

Did you have summon before the FSD trial or is it going to end with fsd
it will end
Really enjoy your content!

Sorry to hear about the damage to your rim. It seems FSD is still a work in progress.
I assume you mean it got the curb?
@@hanna4786yeah, i think so. English isn't my first language so I don't always sound clever

I thought I was using autopilot yesterday then it suddenly decided to change lane😂

Looking forward to your review. We’re not getting the trial over here. I’d be happy just to have the park assist feature 😂
We already had this bro, we need the summon feature :(
