I tried two other recipes and yours is the best! Very smooth coverage during dipping. Also very important to use the correct pot. I used the All-Clad B1 Nonstick 3 qt sauce pan. The caramel slid right out! Thank you for sharing your delicious recipe!
Those are absolutely beautiful apples!!!! I'll be using your recipe to make them this weekend. Can you do one for rice crispy treats also? I'm having some trouble with those. Thanks for the informative video. They look so easy to make.❤ 👍🍏

I think right now an in the season one of my supermarkets got some real good fresh apples. so on that note. I am going to try to use this recipe. an get back to you an tell you how it came OUT. I am excited to use this recipe I've been looking at so many videos for carmel apples over the years. so I come to this video an I like what I see. so I'm going to try it this way. I will get back to you to tell you how it came out. just do exactly what you did an try to buy a non-stick POT.
I made this today! It’s SOOOO good!! Only thing I’m not sure if I messed up but they are not dry yet and it’s been like 2 hours already. Or are they suppose to feel sticky? First time making these. 😍😍😍😍😍
I love it! You are so talented. You know, with the Butter Fingers, they look so fall-ish and Halloween-ish. :-) I wonder is a person could make these with the caramel made from sweetened condensed milk? What are your thoughts?
Question: My caramel, after being in the frig for awhile and being left to sit out overnight to set, came out too sticky. I used all brown sugar instead of the white and brown mix. What can i do to make it not so sticky after dipping the apples? Oh, I didn't use salt.

It's okay for them to be a little sticky but maybe putting them in a cooler place will help them set up a little more. They're good either way!
Oiii quero a receita em português
Does the caramel stay sticky? I need to put some in a plastic gift bag.
You can put them in small cellophane bags. That works pretty good!
I love caramel Apple. My Korean Girlfriend hasn't try that she's going to like it 😁
Quantos ml vai em cada ingredientes?
That look good cN I come over and have some
What kind of butter do you use???
Is there a way to prevent them from browning in order to get that tiny green pop from the apple?
Just add the sticks right before you dip them
I love it! You are so talented. You know, with the Butter Fingers, they look so fall-ish and Halloween-ish. :-) I wonder is a person could make these with the caramel made from sweetened condensed milk? What are your thoughts?
Great idea!!
Hello Jesus love is the sweetest! 🙏❤✝
Can I make these the night before and put them in the fridge?
You bet! They'll keep for a couple days in the fridge.
Can you tell me why my caramel would have ended up with bubbles in it? After the apples set, the bubbles popped and left dips/divots.
It helps if your apples are room temperature. Bubbles are created with the caramel is hot and the apples are cold.

Same here! Did you ever figure out what went wrong?
Be sure you are heating it to 240 degrees. If you get it that high, it will be less sticky when it cools.
@@TheCarefreeKitchen thank you! I will retry this recipe! It looks promising 🥰
Oh boy I'm making these...yes mam I am...
Hooray! Let me know how it goes!!
Oh boy i made these and everyone enjoyed. I sliced them for my 3 yr old grandson. What a hit😉 used the excess caramel for turtles. Thank you 🤗
Is this salted or unsalted butter ?
Either one will do. I almost always use salted butter.
Thank you! I made it and it’s amazing thank you for sharing !
About how many apples would say this recipe for the caramel will cover?
thecarefreekitchen.com/how-to-make-caramel-apples/ Here’s a full printable recipe card with all the details!
And is reheating in a pot on the stove they proper way to reheat?
Yup, that'll work great!
You never put the vanilla in once you took it off the stove!
That caramel is super thin it should be 3x thicker and 2x darker.
are you marissa and brookies mom!?
Hey Masy, Yes, they're my daughters!
@@TheCarefreeKitchen oh Yay can you tell them i love their channels so much and they are my fav youtubers!
Hello please I live in Brazil and very difficult pass me the recipe in write for translate
I like to just melt caramel candies instead of making caramel from scratch. Im picky.
So I used your recipe and the Carmel literally dripped off. They NEVER hardened. Now I'm left with half dipped apples. 🤔
I'd love to help you figure out what happened. Did you use a thermometer or use the cold water method?
@@TheCarefreeKitchen the cold water. I've been looking for a candy thermometer and can't find one anywhere.
Hi, the stick is not cute. Your video was good. Thanks👍
Ok, thank you
Idk all
Same, same!
Should've drizzled better.
Does your family have any teeth left
I couldn't get through this video. If she calls it carmel one more time I'll scream. It's car-a-mel!
Regional pronunciation is a thing.
