I’ve tried a ton of delays and never loved any of them. Saw this video and bought the Nemesis. Have never been happier with a delay pedal. Thank you for making this video. Really enjoyed.
This is a wonderful collection of delay pedals, Dennis. Nevertheless, there are certain pedals that are missing from the top 5 positions, if this is actually meant to be an "of all time" list.
Booyaah! Both the Meet Maude and the Avalanche run are there. You and I, good sire, definitely have the same taste. is it good taste, dunno, don't care :D
I like the straight forward delay pedals. I am not interested in the expensive boutique pedals that make some interesting sounds, but would not incorporate into a song. The simple TC Flashback, Carbon copy. is my budget desire. Before you know it with some of these pedals, I have bought a Roland GR-55 and SA guitar for less than 1,600.00. I can see where you can spend 400.00 on a single pedal. When buying multiple botique pedals the $ run up fast and find using just a few, which are associated with the delay options I really frequently want/use
I had a Bellwether, had to send it back because it was so incredibly noisy. They sent me another one which was just as bad. It's a shame, because it loved it and the fx loop...
I mean that when the pedal is on, there is a huge amount of white noise. I have an Analogman ADRX20, a Boss DM-3, a Boss DM-2W, and old Ibanez AD-9 I've had since the early 90s. None of them are even close to being as noisy as the Bellwether.
Do you have a SoundCloud or something? Btw I can see why you have so many delays....I never really was into pedals but I'm realizing I really need a delay for some of the stuff I write....but I can't make up my damn mind! Great video
When he hits the loop pedal it doesn't seem to do anything. So are we to understand that whenever he has a loop pedal in addition to the featured pedal then that means the featured pedal doesn't have a digital delay/echo effect? Confused.
Curious that he did mention the Belle Epoch - I have both pedals. While the Belle Epoch is quite a good delay, the Echorec is on another level, brilliant, brilliant pedal - extremely warm, atmospheric repeats which turn into reverb outbursts. Must say I was also quite surprised that the Echorec was ignored.
I have and had both. The 3rd place Echolution confirms my hunch that it is a competitive delay pedal despite never being used in delay battles. Higher than the Tonal recall? Nice. The Nemesis sounds amazing but the pedal interface needs to be changed to a Timeline like screen. Having to plug into a phone to get to deeper custom presets is a pain. I hope they improve it. I sold mine.
I really enjoy my Nemesis. Editing presets in the phone can be a pain, but it's easy to burn presets onto certain settings or into the preset slots for unique sounds. I find that even without the app, it's an amazing sounding delay even if you never touch the app and only play with the settings on the face of it.
Could I use the nemesis for some modulation sounds at short delay times? That, the pitch shifting and noise tape are the real selling points for me on the nemesis
None of the classics are in this video. No Memory Man, no Space Echo... Two of the most original delays ever made aren't here either: the Particle and the Downward Spiral... Some of the delays included are very nice but not so special as to be b.o.a.t.
Is this comment a joke? T-Rex have some ok-ish stuff but nothing legendary. Replicator is a good idea with quality issues while the other T-Rex stuff is actual cheap stuff. And tc 2290 is not even a pedal.

Hey! How dare you not include (insert delay pedal I want to justify liking and owning)!!!

You must be high not including the Skreddy Echo! No bells or whistles just pure magical tone!
ArgentPure I just said the same thing. Jeez
wow that sub decay echo modulation sounds amazing! I should get one.
Booyaah! Both the Meet Maude and the Avalanche run are there. You and I, good sire, definitely have the same taste. is it good taste, dunno, don't care :D

Line 6 DL4 would be no.1 for me it it wasn't so unreliable!
I want to buy one. Why is it unreliable?
Awesomeness!!!
I had a Bellwether, had to send it back because it was so incredibly noisy. They sent me another one which was just as bad. It's a shame, because it loved it and the fx loop...
trevor deke bajus had the same issue. I think those analog pedals are just noisy. I still have mine though

trevor deke bajus jhs panther cub
@Larry M No. It was just noisy. It doesn't do anything more extreme than the Analogman delay I replaced it with.
of all time?

Wtf no skreddy echo? Can't believe you left that out
my thoughts exactly
No Korg SDD-3000?
can I get a thumbsup from my Timebender fans? GOAT
Hey, why is count to five or the red panda rapster not on the list? There both really cool

wow no echorec?

He included the Boonar which is an echorec-style delay aswell, maybe he prefers that over the Catalinbread Echorec.
A question, unfocused image is accidental?
Dual delay Visual Sound???
The ditto and infinity that you use with some of the pedals. What do those do?
Those are loopers.
No eventide products ?
Oscar Estrella
You got a point...
No DM-2 or _any_ Boss? Deluxe Memory Man?
Nice wrong list (of all time)
naka doots there's another video for analog delays dumbass
LOL Boss? Now that's "wrong"
Yamaha UD Stomp... #1. period
No DD2, shame on you! Got To say I like your top five...
H9?
Is it worth selling a echolution 2 for a Nemesis?
I have and had both.

to me one of the best things about the nemesis is the lack of screen.
What, no zoom 501? 😂

Weres T rex , and tc 2290? this is a joke??? If is he is a funny guy.ahhahahhh
