Im a single mom and when Im sick is the time when I feel so alone. My body is weak and cant help myself. I cant take care of my son as well. And no one is there to care. I even ask the grab to buy my meds and groceries.
I feel so so so much for you! In november I was sick on my own abroad - just moved and knew nobody. It screwed me up mentally so bad! Won’t wish it on anyone. Guys, whoever is going through this - you are not alone, you will get through this!
Glad you’re feeling better Negeen! I have to say living alone and having covid was super scary and you’re not alone in that. My covid led to a strong case of pneumonia in my body and I woke up because my breathing stopped. It was also Christmas Eve 2020 and I was living alone so definitely terrifying. The amount of mucus I had to expel from my body was unbelievable and my body was so sore just laying in my bed hurt. I have to recommend warm tea and steamed broccoli was very helpful. Of course drinking tons of water and always keep your phone by your side at all times when you’re sick and alone. Also the recipe video will be most appreciated Negeen! 😊
No cause literally im living alone for the first time and got a bad case of food poisoning that lasted a couple days and I fully went straight to my moms after a couple hours day 1 cause i was convince i was going to pass away. 😂😂😂 Glad you’re feeling better, happy to see you filming again!
Good video and thanks for talking about the mental/emotional side of it. I caught a virus a few weeks ago, it was really rough and I was breathless with no voice for about a week. Now I have a chest infection which I've never had before and the emotional side of it is v hard. I've been focusing on positive thinking, good idea about healing music and meditations. I've found food delivery v helpful plus eating v healty food.
Yup mucus is one of the body's way of catching pathogens. Therefore coughing it up and spitting it out will definitely alleviate some of your symptoms -- I'm definitely going to look into that face ice mask. Glad to hear you're doing better, Negeen! Appreciate you sharing your home remedies with us
Weird timing. I’m sitting here with bronchitis, and right before seeing your comment, I coughed and spit up the goo. And I thought, “How gross! But this part is probably necessary.”
Just finished watching all your living alone series and i really hope there will be more!! These videos have helped so much and you definitely have a loyal subscriber now! if you could please make more cooking videos/ the realities of living alone :)
So sorry to see how sick you got thats horrible. I'm glad you're feeling better! As you know I've been a supporter for a long time and I guess small life update. I finally went and got my place. Little townhouse, but officially moved in and making it a home as we speak. Appreciate all that you do!
It happened to me for a little while when my brother had to move to another room similar to when we were quarantined early this month. When we had CoVid, my mom and my nana arrived to give me remedies and high immune boost food to help me recover quick. For you, Negeen, I'm glad you're okay. But if ever you're lonely, and if ever you have a problem, I'll be there for you. I'm always proud of you!
Dang this comment section and video are taking me back to last year when I went through all this..sickness can be a dark dark place for so many different reasons. We have to thank God for another day of life and for these bodies that are still kickin! Gotta take care of mind, body, and souls! Thanks for the tips, I learned new things! Always wondered what was the natural evivalent to Emergen-C 😅😂 no joke lol
I was sick living alone before. I completely hate it. Really it was the most lonely helpless feeling that I will never do this AGAIN! And my parents live far away too.
Yay, Negeen! You're back! 😁 That sucks you got sick... twice. 😒 But we're super glad to have you back! I love gaining your perspective on living alone. You keep it real. And you're hilarious. I'm embracing it now, too - i was struggling a few months ago. I'm having the time of my life living alone!! I'm in sweatpants all day. Or not. It's great lol. My house my rules! Just me and my dog. Absolute bliss. Looking forward to more videos!! Kisses right back, eeeeeee!!!
Glad you’re fine now. I noticed that you haven’t uploaded for a while and I was worried:( I think you should’ve accepted your friend’s offers to help you :( Don’t suffer alone please ❤️❤️. Take care ❤️!
Sorry to hear you have been sick. You stil look totally amazing though. Being alone is not that bad, might depend how used to one is to other people´s company, where you are in life´s path and other varying things. While alone has its good points, no-one complaints what music you listen to or what films you watch. There are loads of great films in the internet, heartily recommending my favourite film of all time, directed by my fellow countryman, one Aki Kaurismäki in 1985. Oh, and the film, Calamari Union, a surrealistic comedy about seventeen men, all named Frank, who embark on a perilous mission from a city district to another (please don´t watch the 2000-something remake, its downright terrible lol). Always a pleasure to watch your vids, stay safe!
Literally the same thing happened to me and my family. First I had a sinus infection then my baby got it and then Patricia got it. The day she started getting better I came down with a week long fever and then Patricia caught a week long cough. My family basically had a month long illness without a break. Side note.... I definitely want to hear you go on rant on why all pills are bad
Bro watching this, while living alone and having covid during law school finals season (1L finals, and if you know 1L is the hardest year of law school apparently). I’m praying this helps lol !!
I actually got COVID myself at the beginning of January. Didn't test myself, but my mother and sister got it first and then I had the same exact symptoms as them. They all matched up as symptoms of OMICRON, so yeah. (That's why I haven't been on your videos for a while, first I got COVID and then I fell into an episode of major depression immediately afterward that lasted several months... but I'm doing better now and getting back to watching everyone's videos again) The sore throat was HORRIBLE!!! Couldn't even drink water or swallow my only saliva without excruciating pain. And the sweating... I would wake up drenched in sweat. I thought I fell in a lake while I was asleep. I hear you on the mucus thing. I coughed up a huge chunk of yellow mucus... but after I did... so gross but so much relief! I'm lucky that I was prepared with medicines before I got it. I saw people in my family getting COVID and knew it was coming for me next, so I got cough/cold/flu medicine, ibuprofen, and sore throat lozenges. Thank God I did! I think it's a good idea, whenever it's flu season or you hear of anything going around (not just COVID, either), run to the store and pick up stuff to make you feel better if it should make its way to you.
You know what, I can totally relate to you… It just that your thing lasted 2 months n I was struggling for last 2 years with severe mold allergies and vitamin deficiency 🙄… I can understand what u went through…and I understand that how important it is for you to live by yourself still… For me it was same… Dnt wanna discourage anyone but That whole 2 years When I was not well, I was staying all by myself due to my stubbornness…But for last 4 months now , I have shifted all my stuff to my parents house, initially it was all so hard, I was feeling like I m giving up on all my dreams n plans… But trust me now I m feeling so much better with my family… Now I m feeling like I was very hard on myself… I was very happy there, I had a life time of a experience there… but now I m free from that constant being into an alert mode, fighting for ur survival day to day mode, and seriously being sick when u stay alone is horrible… It took me a little bit time to again start leaving with my parents but after covid my mindset changed… Now for me it’s ok… Take care dear… At the end, the most important thing it to listen to your heart… With Love…🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸
I HAD A SINUS INFECTION FOR 2 WEEKS AND THEN GOT COVID AND THE INFECTION WAS WORSE TOO?? That's kinda weird. I got sick on Dec 23rd, just got better last week. I got over the infection on about Jan 4th, then the next day got omicron symptoms, but i think I got over it a week ago. I was so sad, I was sick over Christmas, my wedding, honeymoon, taking my husband back to school, a 20 hr road trip to drop him off, all of it. Then I got home and got omicron and gave it to my whole family bc we didn't realize, I didn't even know what omicron was when I got sick. My parents were just like "huh your symptoms sound a lot like the new strain of covid" like WHAT I took so much mucinex, Sudafed, nyquil, dayquil, and so, so much ibuprofen, it was wild. I had no voice for the first 2 weeks. It was bad. Christmas, wedding, and honeymoon were especially rough.
You recommend people take so many pills without consulting a doctor. Unfortunately, some will listen to you, and it's dangerous to just take all these pills without consulting a specialist.

Girlll u got this🎉 but ik it's tiring to always have to be strong 💪🏽 we'll get through this

Aw that must have been so hard but I bet it made you super strong, mentally. You can get through anything! :)

I'm going through the same currently! And this video really really helped me. Especially the mental framing & pep talk part!🌻🫶
