I have this barrel, but not the chiller. I had some problems with the chiller, mostly loud vibrational sounds so I went out and bought SunHome Sauna’s all in one chiller, it has the ozone, filter and light sterilization, and an app. A far better chiller than the rebranded penguin chiller in the video. I’ve owned several plunges, including Ice Barrel, Nordic Wave’s (the one in the video), the plunge, the xl plunge, the XR Cryo plunge (DO NOT BUY-Warning!), and this Monday I have the plunge “all in” being delivered. I’m selling this NordicWave with the Sun home all in one chiller. Don’t go pay $5,000 to $6000, you can have mine for $2000 and it’s only six months old in perfect condition.
You mention that some plunges don’t allow you to fully submerge, then mention that you - at 5’4” can fully submerge in this unit - yet all of your clips show your shoulders well above the water. This is confusing.
This was because I am a baby sometimes and was doing this in winter in our warehouse with zero heat. It was very cold! HAHA, I could have easily sat down another foot or more into the tub. - Linds
I wish my ice-barrel was insulated!!! Don’t need 50 micron filtering!!! 6k no way!!!! I have penguin chiller and ice barrel 400 under 3600 still exp in my world!!!
All cold tubs are so expensive if they have any sort of filtration system or chiller along with them. My husband and I have been using the regular old ice barrel for a while now and while having a chiller and filtration system would be nice, it is working out fine for us right now! - Linds
