Seriously though, this game has some of the best free DLC since Shovel Knight
Still not comparable to Shovel Knight dlc though, especially the upcoming one.

When I played taranza, the nostalgia hit me hard. Triple deluxe was my first Kirby game, and the fact that they represented the dreamstalk in his sections were just fan service

The characters from the non-traditional main series games (Fluff, Drawcia, Elline) got the Waluigi treatment.
Those games are canon...I think since everything goes back to normal at the end.

Me and my two siblings went at this mode, both dimensions and soul meter. My god there was a lot of swearing and hate. All I can say is when we finished we all said we would never play that game together again.

It’s great seeing another Kirby lover on UA-cam. Everyone I meet seems to hate Kirby but Star Allies ended up being one of my favorite games of all time, ESPECIALLY after the excellent dlc. Thanks for giving this series the praise that no one else seems to want to. Not that it means much in your pool of half a million subs, but you’ve earned yourself one very happy subscriber.

I think when he said "hate Kirby" he meant "hate Kirby star allies" he just didn't word it right. Though I do agree that "hate" isn't the right word, I think "dislike" or "key is a better word to describe what people thought of this game (mostly just towards meh) at least when it first launched

if they ever made a sequel for this, i would love to see them add DLC characters like Claycia and Elline from Kirby Rainbow Curse, Nago and ChuChu from Kirby Dream Land 3, The Fairy Queen from Kirby 64, and Prince Fluff from Kirby Epic Yarn

You might address this in that Kirby Lore video you're gonna do. But, I'm surprised you didn't mention Void's background during the splash screen. It's literally the background from Zero's fight in Boss Butch Mode in KDl3. (Well, the original SNES version, not the edited VC version.)
Which just makes Void even MORE connected to Zero than we originally thought.... Oh and, Void (Nil in Japanese), Zero.... Both are words for "Nothing". I gotta say, while O2 might still be my favorite boss in this franchise from a design, atmosphere, and music standpoint.... Void REALLY knocks it out of the park with everything else. The lore, the gameplay.... All of it is amazing. And that new theme he got in this update....
It might not be O2's theme. But damn is it amazing. It's so... sad sounding. Sorta like O2's, but, a bit more sad sounding, and less energetic? All and all, this game impressed me with this final DLC. And to think we got all this stuff for free.... Most games would have gladly charged you at least 20 dollars for this kind of content.
I wish more games would do DLC like this....

I love this game, because, though I wasn’t born back when Kirby was first released, this game is full of Kirby nostalgia, and it’s great for playing with friends. This is a game that, though it may not be for everyone, it justifies that even the most simple things in life can be fun.

But AntDude... what about the new lore for the Three Mage Sisters... (Edit) and what about the fact that Astral Birth Void is actually reborn into Kirby... with their theme that encorporates Green Greens with Chiptunes...
To be honest, the new lore in the Soul Melter EX fights were the only things I didn't find myself when playing this new update, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't see them either.
He said that he would get into the deeper, darker lore someday.
Reminder that suicide attempts are now canon in Kirby lore.

Truth to be told this was my first ever Kirby game that I played,
But I loved it so much and part of that was the multiplayer as I love playing with friends
I completed the game with a friend and now is one of my favorite games ever
This game not just introduced me to the Kirby series but I learned all about it
Because the dream friends.
A side from smash number one game of the year in my opinion
It was already my personal number one. Objectively it was pretty flawed though, I had to admit.
After this DLC, though, I firmly believe it genuinely is one of the BEST games of the year objectively.
This was also my first Kirby game, and I don’t think I’ve ever fallen so hard or fast for a franchise. This game made me learn about past Kirby games (I feel embarrassed saying this, but for whatever reason, I thought Marx was Kirby’s cousin or some other relative when I first saw him). But this game also shows me how much I’ve missed out on. Listening to Return to Dreamland’s soundtrack makes me so upset that I never bought a Wii. The only Nintendo consoles I’ve ever had are the Switch and from the DS line (I currently have a New 3DS XL), but at least Extra Epic Yarn comes out next year.

Actually, I have considered getting Super Star Ultra since I’ve heard so many great things about it. I’ll probably get it sometime over the break. I’m not sure if there are versions of classic games for the 3DS on the eshop or something, but I’ll check it out.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 was the first game I ever beat, so seeing Rick, Coo, and Kine in this game really had me running up and down the halls with joy...my neighbors hate me.

The ending was my favorite part about this entire video. I saw the Kirby under episode 100 and I thought “YES HES GOING TO DO ANOTHER KIRBY EPISODE!” And then the drums. Ahh the drums. Antdude, I love you.

A few notes I have on this after playing the game for myself:
I love the Dream Friend jingles, especially Rick/Kine/Coo, Magolor and Dark Meta Knight
I don't think all the Morpho Knight themes are remixes, I fought him as Magolor and I was 85% sure the version of C.R.O.W.N.E.D. that played was the original.
The devs seem to have taken the original bosses' ease into account when designing the Mage Sisters' Guest Star path, as every boss there is parallel as well as Morpho Knight.
True one thing that is missing is: Masked dedede. I wish that his Masked form was in the game and as a playable character or at least a very good boss fight. But he would be to op especially if you give him his moves from Super Star Ultra then add new ones.

The other characters don’t get new moves, and the only way to see Marx’s boss moves (possible since he’s the only final boss whose main form is the boss) is if he appears during the credits, where he uses the same moves as in Super Star and Smash.

12:26 Hmmmmm. I wonder if by "next phase" there, HAL Lab mean Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which we wouldn't know about until earlier this year but they'd have planned for years. I think that's what they meant and were just waiting until the right moment to tell us about it.

This is the first Kirby game I've ever played (just got it for Christmas with all the updates) and honestly I am having a blast with it. It is short and sweet and easy as pie but...I didn't really go into this game expecting anything other than distilled cuteness, so that end battle was honestly kinda mind blowing. It's not a challenge but damn. Why does it have Kirby's face. What is it? What is Kirby? What is going on? It's nuts.
And with this new guest star mode it's just... Like, I went into this on a whim. I was just gonna play it and then maybe cash it in to cex. I really didn't expect to like this game as much as I do. I didn't think this would be one of those games I'd be replaying just to get all the collectables.
Also. Marx is creepy. I don't know what his deal is...but he's creepy.

The best thing about the DLC is that it's completely free too, which is amazing and we love that??
The Rick Kine and Coo dream friend is easily my favorite. You mentioned that part of the Guest Star Mode fun is playing as a more limited character, but this trio sort of screws with that, being a giant Swiss Army knife.
If you want more proof to that whole Kirby reboot thing, take a look at the final celebration picture, and listen to the music. Also, Meta Knight, Dedede, and Bandanna all got new Morpho Knight music. Listen to it, it's great.
I played through the whole game by myself and I loved it, I'm also a huge Kirby fan.
