1:51 that is so true, terribly expensive drinks! We’ve got a sparkling water in one of the restaurants they charged us 7 USD, a small bottle of water six dollars, I can buy a huge package in Costco for less than that.

Good points -nice sink , the sockets in the box ? whats that all about ? I think they call that thinking outside the box ? we are big Celebrity fans , excellent value for money . we always get a drinks package , yes its expensive but when you add up the soft drinks , speciality coffee , drinks at lunch. beers at the pool , pre dinner drinks, wine with evening meal . post dinner drinks . bottled water . I just bite the bullet. gives me fixed costs and I factor it in to the cost of the cruise. Plus no nasty surprises with the end of cruise bill :) Nice insight as always Beth 👍

Yep, we loved celebrity but will get the package next time. just annoying as David will make use of it, but all I'll drink is a coffee or two a day and some ginger beer in the evening. no alcohol for me, which makes it really expensive! Thanks for your insights too as always 😋

You cancelled tips!!!?? You tipped only certain folks? I realize Europeans do not tip in their respective countries but on the seas it is a part of the crew's pay. A different culture. I have cruised for as many years as you have been alive and tipping is a thank you to staff. Amend your ways. If you can afford the trip, you can tip. Celebrity is one of my favorites!! On a true Luxury ship, think Ritz, Seabourn, and the like you don't tip because it is included, crew is paid accordingly.
@@darlenepurcell7541 hi, thanks for your opinion, it’s definitely a different culture overseas. My in laws are American and they are shocked every time they visit due to the lack of tipping. My experience asking crew is that they don’t see the tips, so yes we prefer to tip particular crew to ensure at least some of the crew benefit from tips. It’s a personal decision many people make.
