Hey Beth, wonderful video as aiways. My wife and I are sailing on the Onward out of Miami on 12/9 and you have my mouth watering. We really appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into these videos. As a retired chef I look forward to sampling all those gorgeous meals. We're also sailing on Explora 1 in Feb. So it will be fun to compare the two. Anyway, thanks again for for your review and hope we run into you guys out on the ocean some day.

Great tip about where to find the list of buffet theme nights and the White Night, been on Azamara twice and didn’t know that. We board Journey tomorrow in Montreal so will check out the list. Thanks for a great video.
A great help. Will be doing the Cape Town Christmas & New Year trip 2024/2025 on the Quest. Didnt see too much of what I am looking for which is Crab and Lobster or even Sushi. I can only hope.
@@jillrobinson4297 oh sounds amazing! I bet that’ll be magical. Hmmm I don’t eat much seafood so I wasn’t looking out for it. From memory they had seafood in the speciality restaurant Aqualina, and they definitely had lobster and sushi at the white night buffet - you can see that in my latest white night vlog. I don’t remember seeing any of that in the buffet. Have a fantastic time nonetheless!
Hi Beth, I agree the food is very good. Azamara offer a great package for the money. Yes the fleet is ageing but ignore the minor faults and you will have a fantastic time :)

@@BethandDavidCruise well we have two cruises boked for 2025. Celebrity Ascent in May and Regent Seven Seas Mariner transatlantic in November , first transatlantic jaunt :)
@@petejames1326 yes you can order however much you want of anything. I regularly would get multiple things to try at once, especially when it came to desserts! We did think the portion sizes can be fairly small and as youngens we have quite the appetite.😍 never had a problem with it. Same for all the food venues except speciality restaurants.
Just came off the Pursuit and agree it was the best food we've had on a cruise! The only time we've gone to the pool grill on a ship multiple times, and struggled to choose between buffet and MDR for dinner! In our case the list of buffet themes was on the counter outside of the MDR as well. We had Canandian Thanksgiving one night, and since we were in Turkey we had a massive Turkish feast on the deck one night with 8 stations. The filet migon in the MDR was probably the best steak I've had at sea as well! Agree on the pizza, I found it meh, MSC is still the best for me. Not been on Princess yet but we are booked for next easter and have premium so we can try their casual dining pizza as well as the regular ones.
@@Nick_Stock glad you enjoyed the food as much as we did! I agree with everything you’ve said. The thanksgiving sounds amazing - I know david would’ve loved that! We haven’t seen that before. And yes all the pizza on Princess is amazing, the pool area pizza is more like American dominoes style, and the restaurant pizza is a lovely homemade type pizza. Love them all😍😍 let me know what you think of it!

with the main dining room, can you order say 3 entrees, and one main? theres no problem with that is there?

Can you tell me about the Oceanview cabins on Deck 4? Do you know if the noise is unacceptable in forward cabins under the cabaret?
@@rkorest sorry I’m not 100% sure but we stayed in an ocean view on deck 4 and didn’t have any issues.
