Yeah, also keep in mind that Palestinians have been brutally eradicated from their land since 1948 by 'Israeli' colonizers. But that's only 76 years of violent suppression, right?
@@riam23 They never were eradicated or suppressed. They were let to live their lives out peacefully. But Jews in Muslim countries were persecuted throughout their history prior to the creation of Israel. When the country was created it gave Jews the opportunity to return home to their native homeland that was lost because of the Romans 2 millennia ago. It's not really "colonization" or "suppression" when Jews finally liberated themselves from persecution. And those Palestinians you mentioned are Arabs that came from Israel's adjacent neighbors: Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. There never was a "Palestinian" identity because the Arabs there were simply Arabs living in a province of the Ottomans at that time.
