    My wife has been training with me for about the last year now. Her strength has gone up leaps and bounds and she has so much more muscle and shape - especially in the legs and glutes. She comments to me all the time that everything she does now feels easier because of how much stronger she's gotten.
    You are the best Jay. In fact, you are the modern day Mike Mentzer and I say that as someone who started following Mentzer at the age of 16 (I'm 49 now). God bless you brother.

    Really glad to hear you did an interview with Patty. I just recently started following her among other few women who are high intensity, training coaches. And I also believe that more women should be training this way. Especially given the demand in their schedule. Most of my clients are about 80% women. And none of them have complained to me that I’ve gotten them bulky. I’ve had female clients reduce blood pressure, reduce lots of fat, improved bone density, and developed muscle tone they never thought they could develop. Definitely gotta get the word out and drown out all these so called “fitness influencers”

    Wait, what's muscle tone? 😅 you just pointed to your bicep. I wanna know the actual correct definition.

    Seated Row or Lat Pulldown: Which one activates the biceps more?

    • @scuba453
      @scuba453 Місяць тому +2

      Close grip (palms facing you) pull down which is equivalent to a chin up. same movement as a biceps curl....just focus more on your biceps rather than your lats.

    Would love to train this way but how do you find a fitness studio who does this type of training? I live in the Netherlands btw, HIT is all about interval training here...

      H.I.I.T - "High Intensity Interval Training" (basically, sprinting), H.I.T = "High Intensity Training" (basically, strength training). You CAN do H.I.I.T with H.I.T, but you cannot do H.I.T. with H.I.I.T.

      Buy 'body by science ' by dr doug mcgruff. He explains the benefits of high intensity and how it effects blood sugar, glucose/ glycogen stores in the body

      Regardless of which type of diabetes, assuming they're stable, resistance training improves glucose disposal and storage, both of which can lead to fewer or less meds.
