To be honest - this whole album is simply great! One of this rare piece of music that let you dream away for one hour.
This romantic duets Pirates Story , Male vocal MICHELE and Female CLEMENTINE DELANEY (ITALY e FRANCE)... Song written by Clementine..
Suzy asked who wrote this song, and the answer is SHE --> Clémentine Delauney... did. Ever since joining the band back in 2013, she's been the primary song writer, as that's one of the reasons Thomas Caser (the drummer) brought her on in the first place. And by doing so, saved the band from permanently disbanding. She brought such new life and purpose to the band that it brought back all the original members and they've put out 3 albums since she joined. They were only only going to do one final Horah album, but she worked out so well that they continued with the band, and now with this 2022 "Pirates" release, they've finally found their niche as a Pirate band.
I didn't know that she saved the band wow I'm happy they stayed together after she joined
Three days ago I was lucky enough to see them live, fantastic band and their latest album is magnificent.

Saw this band live without knowing anything other that seeing the pirate outfits on the promo art. Got the tickets for another band (xandria) but VoA instantly became one of my favorite bands. Was expecting something like Alestorm, but got Pirate Kamelot and left with several records. Best concert of last year.
Clementine is absolutely great. A voice like an angel but enough roughness for this kind of metal. Not quite Floor Jansen- level but only one tier below and for me there are only 3 or 4 other female singers in that tier.

My favorite band at this moment. Been to their live in september and will see them again in april, can't wait 🤘. I just love everything they do. Love their older stuff too, like seven seas and passing dead end.
They're just as good live. :)

The band is a big fan of Nightwish and it shows.
Well - I said it in my Amazon-recommendations that this was the best "Nightwish-Album" since a long time. As good as Floor Jansen on stage is they (Nightwish) somehow lost the ability to write banger-songs. Most is lost in to complicated song-structure and in too many instruments (don't know how to describe it in words). Visions Of Atlantis is fillig a gap that is left out by Nightwish for their own fault (if you want it like that). Anyhow - the sound of VOA is great and if we are all think a bit about it they don't need to be compared to Nightwish. VOA has 2 (!) great singers and a great song-building. For me "Pirates" was one of the best albums in 2022.
