If you use a long extension or a few extensions together you can take that last bolt from outside the starter. Just a comment I'm sure you know a lot more than I ever wil.
I am here today because my 250 wouldn’t start after I picked up a burrito. An obviously dire situation, for I had a plump burrito to get home and eat. When it was obvious the battery wasn’t dead, and there wasn’t a click when I turned over the key, figured it was the starter. Went underneath and hit the starter with a wrench 10 or so times. Truck started up. Thankfully, I was able to eat my burrito in bed and watch this video so I can replace the bum starter. I thank you, you are providing me the ability to postpone my burritos no longer.
Great job. But the driver needs to keep regular maintenance up a little better. Sloppy job on his part That little jule of a rinch seam's to be Handy. I could use one. Where did you get yours?

I think it needed a new battery and some clean terminals

No, just straight. Has to end right at the back of the starter. Good luck.

Not too old. Remanufactured parts... Not a fan. Not going to blast my parts people!

@@jamieglasscock-bu3fx our diagnostic fee is only about $100. A local shop should probably be similar to tell you what's wrong.
Iv changed starters a couple times on this truck, plus exhaust manifolds, they suck. (Company truck) I cringe every time something goes wrong with it
