Nate, you're definitively onto something here buddy. I'm very impressed that you took the time to experiment with it in order to figure it out. Experimentation is a BIG PART of the learning process. I'm sure a lot of pros (myself included) are going to try this! Looking forward to seeing your progress with the new break box! Keep up the great work and thanks for all that you do for the game bro! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! 👍😊 🎱
Hi, I've tried this break recently.. and its pretty impressive bro. It works same like breaking one on spot if shot perfect. It also requires alot of practice to master.. anyway great find brother
This is very timely since Texas Open is coming up and this is what they do. I’m playing in the Tune-Up before hand and all the weeklies at Skinny Bobs have now switched to 9 on spot to help people prepare (no 3 foul tho)
@@SenseiNatePlaysPool I’m playing in the chip tournament tonight and plan to practice ahead of time. Will definitely devote 15-20 mins to practicing the break
@@SenseiNatePlaysPool I video recorded a dozen or more breaks. Couldn’t get it to work as is or with a few tweaks. Will review my video to see what’s up. I maybe had 2 breaks where I made something and had a shot and a few legal breaks but rest were illegal.
@@yes2crypto hmmm. To be frank, it took me a long time to find the sweet spot in this break. Right elevation, speed, stroke, and spot right at the base of the 1 ball to land on. I wouldn’t expect it’d be the same on your conditions, but I would expect it to work after enough tweaking is done. Who knows, you may need to cut the ball. Also, type template rack, table conditions, and cleanliness of balls could totally affect it- but I’m unsure how much. Let me know if you find anything that works, I’m pretty curious now. If not, you can always be a good boy and cutbreak. Lmao
Cool, but you know now many tournaments are requiring breaking from the box. Or even more difficult the newer box brought up by Emily Frazer which is smaller that the traditional one. You might be into something tho.
“Many” tournaments? Do you mean pro tournaments? I don’t know very many 9 on the spot tourneys for amateurs let alone breaking from the box. Eventually my goal is to tackle that break with the new Matchroom break box, but honestly, that’d be catered to basically ONLY top amateurs/pros. Would love that challenge though.
@@SenseiNatePlaysPool the video is about 9-ball on the spot with 3-point rule. Do I really have to specify? I’d think it’s redundant, but I guess you’re right.

Let me know if this break works. I’ve never tried it on a diamond.

I will give it a try! Thank you for sharing this.
You can do the same thing from the center diamond on the end rail. Excellent video.
Good stuff brother!

@@SenseiNatePlaysPool by the way, I’m not trying to be a hater. I do think you’re into something and appreciate the video.
But can you do it from inside the break box?
Nope. This won’t work with the break box. That’s a whole other can of worms I want to unpack at some point.
But in the new rules, aren't you supposed to break from the box?
For Matchroom events yeah- this break doesn’t work. But I have a video on that break as well ;)
This is for tournaments that don’t use the break box.
