True, but like many things in life, pickpocketing has varying degrees. There are thieves on the street looking to steal wallets; then there's what I'd call "playful" or "prank" pickpocketing, where you sneak an item out of a family member or friend's pocket without them noticing, then show it to them when they realize it's gone. The latter is fun and generally garners plenty of laughs!

~I see Apollo Robins as a master "martial artist". The mental & physical skills & training he has and uses are in principle exactly the same. An extremely high amount of discipline and "focused situational awareness" is involved, along with ones "whole being". Years of practice, and SELF discipline developing a skill and craft to the extent that it can be performed seemingly without effort, and the ultra finely honed motions and techniques are often invisible to an observer, invoking astonishment and or appreciation for feats witnessed yet unseen, and the core "secret" of the craft. I suppose this is why some people who are very highly skilled in these ways are commonly referred to as "Magicians". ~When someone has such complete understanding, and dominion over their craft, so they deploy it to perfection effortlessly, making it look easy...Only Then are they truly a Master. I am always very impressed and I marvel at what the human body & mind is capable of when properly conditioned - incredible feats, not accessible and impossible to those who have not traversed the "Rite Of Passage", the "Conditioning" passion, and devotion, needed to Master a craft, and it could be almost anything...which to the untrained and unconditioned majority of us, can sometimes seem to involve the supernatural. Because I recognize these special features in Apollo, I think of him as a Master Martial Artist. If his skill level and philosophy were ANY less, I would perhaps see only a common expert "pick-pocket".
Guy: I can steal your watch without you noticing... me: locks wrist into vision.. guy: you have something on your shoulder. Me: still looking at my wrist.. Guy: look awayyyyyy!
All his techniques take so much violation of personal space .. Im dumbfounded how many people let absolute strangers in their "Bubble" .. I get paranoid when my barber stands behind me ..
Seriously though. I'm constantly checking to see if someone is behind me and who is on the left and right of me, typically I avoid these situations all together by standing off the the far left or right, and I'm definitely not letting them get this close to me.
You do realize what he’s doing is oriented on the magic aspect of it right? Of course when they want to pickpocket you on the streets all it takes is a little bump into you, someone shouting some random stuff to you to gain your attention etc. It’s easy to know it all when you’re literally watching a video where he’s explaining stuff, now show us whether you’d be safe in an environment where they’re actively hunting.
I’ve always wanted to meet Apollo. I’ve always sort of prided myself in my situational awareness, so I’d love to interact with a master of manipulation. I feel as though it’s be a very humbling experience 😂
Pick pocketing someone un-noticed whilst telling the person you're pick pocketing them.... That's skill on a whole new level.

You could know exactly how to do what he does but it would still take YEARS of practice to do it and even with practice it's doubtful! His abilities are astonishing to me.
There’s a lot of pick pockets in Las Vegas
@@seanc9507 There's also reverse pickpocketing where you put the most random stuff in people's pockets. It's also good if you need to sneak a coin or a card into someone's pocket for a trick .
That's right! I've done that many a time, and I always get a good laugh when the person I've done it to had that shocked look on their face! Do you have an interest in this topic?
@@seanc9507 I can appreciate the skill it takes even though, unless someone's doing it for entertainment, it's definitely not something I encourage or aspire to doing.
“You lost the cellphone in your front pocket.”
“And while you were looking, you also lost your life too.”

I think he’d take your gun first.
And you wouldn’t notice. Then he’d have your phone and wallet. And you’d smile.
And you still haven’t noticed.
@@highdownmartin And surrounding people notice it and start shooting at the pickpocket, dead pickpocket is the best kind of pickpocket
Okay Kendrick
"That's the family fortune" reeeeaally love the Moderator for that one.
"hello sir, do you have something in your jacket?" - not suspicious at all
Those are lines he uses in shows, on streets it's different.
hello good sir, can you show me the way to the church (on this uber big map which covers up your entire eye sight beneath your chest...?)
Can I just say... That this art... Was beautiful
There is something beautiful about a perfect lift! 😝
Damn, he's actually really smart
Guy: I can steal your watch without you noticing...
me: locks wrist into vision..
guy: you have something on your shoulder.
Me: still looking at my wrist..
Guy: look awayyyyyy!

For a content like these I love reading comments more than actually watching the video 😂👍
Thank you so much Apollo! Great video and very informative!
This is all really an elaborate excuse to hold his hand.

True ex pickpocket conman or not, the way he speaks shows high class. Very comfortable to listen to too.
All his techniques take so much violation of personal space .. Im dumbfounded how many people let absolute strangers in their "Bubble" .. I get paranoid when my barber stands behind me ..
I always wear fake hair whenever I go the barber, just in case he tries to pick pocket me
Seriously though. I'm constantly checking to see if someone is behind me and who is on the left and right of me, typically I avoid these situations all together by standing off the the far left or right, and I'm definitely not letting them get this close to me.
That's why people do this stuff on crowded subways and in markets where you don't have a choice
@@Plant_Parenthood Be aware what's happening around you.

Hahaha what a masterpiece. The phone pickpocketing was legendary 👏👏👏
Art, beauty or Symphany, by any other name is as graceful. a pleasure mystro.
Thons guy sounds like he has a PhD on how to pickpocket ! It’s crazy how much experience and knowledge he has on the subject !
This is an awareness video for people to avoid Apollo Robbins on the streets.
just punch someone in the face and take their wallets.

Or, just use a pistol. "Gimme your dough." 😀
His TED talk unconsciously introduced me into ASMR a few years ago
This guy has the perfect name to be an archer 🏹
I’ve always wanted to meet Apollo. I’ve always sort of prided myself in my situational awareness, so I’d love to interact with a master of manipulation. I feel as though it’s be a very humbling experience 😂
