You're welcome. It won't be long until I produce another video, which will be my 1,000th video! LOL Man, that's a lot of videos! Almost 500 of them are pool videos. I think I'm going to celebrate by buying myself another camera. Thanks for all the support Dog-it!
I have a pool and billiards notebook. It has all of the shots, kicks systems, bank systems and all kinds of other stuff in it so my old add doesn't forget and can reference it later. I recommend every player trying to improve do this too.
Always a great idea but players are reluctant to do it. I think they don't want to be seen as someone who takes it too serious. It's the "look-cool factor" but that's a poser. Every great player I ever met takes it very, very serious. Portable computers and phones make this even easier. Peace
Right-handers tend to like breaking from the left but the best thing to do is let the table tell you what it wants you to do. If you go too far to the left or the right on this table the balls break like mush. Thanks for coming by and checking out the video. Peace
I can get your power-break working accurately. Some times you're going to need it and the more weapons you have the better. It's not really about power - it's about the speed of the cue-stick. It's not as difficult as players think and I'll be covering it in this series of videos. Peace!
I found a pretty good break I go half diamond from center and a diamond and a half from head rail with half tip of English to the side I am breaking from if I'm on right I use right left use left and the 9 has been dropping in foot corners opposite of side I'm breaking from with multiple balls dropping as well as getting cue to center table for position I have had consistency on multiple tables on both 8 and 7 ft haven't tried it on 9 foot yet
You have to stick with whatever works - but don't forget that all tables break different... so you'll have to tweak it with each new table you play on. A lot depends on the temp, the humidity how broke-in it is, etc..
The object of the power-break is to get the cueball to jump back off the rack and stop in the middle. It's hit with just a hair of top so when it's up in the air it's actually spinning forward, so imagine the back of your car jumping up in the air and the rear wheels spinning forward. Then when it lands it comes to a dead-stop because you just destroyed your transmission. LOL
Nice my friend, I am taking notes. Haha I remember when you only had 500 subscribers. Question, does the table characteristics change when they replace the cloth on the table or is more about the slate and cushions?
I was going back through some old videos and noticed how long you've been around. The most difficult subscribers to get are the first 100, because people assume you suck when you don't have a lot. Then the next 500 are difficult but not as difficult, then it gets easier and easier. I should know the answer to your question because I've dealt with that a lot at the place I play..., but I never took note of it. I'm surprised at the poor performance of this video and maybe I should skip the whole break series.
No please don’t skip the break series I need all the help I can get. What may seem mundane to you is gold to us. Your the best inspiration on the internet keep it up please. So for you’ve improved my attitude so much my practice time seems meaningful again. Love and depend on your wisdom. I don’t want to spend 30 years fighting these battles. Thanks again.
Is his cue jacked up on the break? Try to get him level and he'll break better that way without messing up your table. I know a guy that drags his tip both going forward on the follow-through and coming back and he goes around East-TN screwing up pool tables. Everyone has tried to help him stop but he still does it.
Every table has a different break spot and they change with the humidity. Have you tried every break spot on the table? You can't break from wherever you want - the table tells you where it is and every table is different. What kind of table and cloth are you using? What's the humidity level? Is the table set up right? Is it near excessive heat?
As always it was a pleasure seeing you and I look forward to our next meeting. Thanks again for stoping by and sharing your experience. Peace

@@JohnDisque I just dont wanna forget any of it or lose it forever
John thank again I like the first three break from the left. You just use a firm stroke

Thx JD. My power b r eak always has blown! I'm better with a controlled break and stopping the cue ball in center. I need this big time

That was great stuff!
Thanks Larry. I hope you're doing well and thanks for stopping by.

💜 Loving it.
Glad you enjoy it! Don't be a stranger around here!
Have a great weekend.

How do you get that cue ball to jump off the table like that!!!?? Holly crap!

Hey John, a friend breaks on my table and leave long burn marks on my felt,I told him he’s trying to break too low and messing up my felt

what weight and tip do you use on break cue?
21 oz Cuetec with a hardened 13mm Elk Master. (It's not made to be a break cue).
Peace!
@@JohnDisque thanks I learn a lot from your videos
No matter how much power is applied, the balls won’t spread, on my table. Balls are racked tight as a drum…
