I would feel guilty, too. I wouldn’t mind buying my kids designer stuff if I could afford them, but the thought of an expensive piece of clothing/ pair of shoes not fitting them in one or two years makes me feel really guilty. Like who’s gonna want them? They don’t worth much once used, especially the children ones. At least if the designer stuff are for an adult/ young adult, I know they will fit for years to come... thereby justifying the high price tag to some extent. Even if I was REALLY rich, I would still feel guilty about it. It’s such a waste!

Its crazy that women making just over six figures and to some degree somewhat over 200K still feel guilty about buying makeup. Like I'm genuinely surprised bc it's such a huge aspect in the life of the modern woman. It's essentially an essential. Right near 250K+, that goes out the window. Now given that's FU money, I'm pretty sure male counterparts wouldn't feel guilty of the equivalent (if there is one) after making six figures. That's just such a surprise that 250K+ is where the line is drawn, I'd expect it to be much lower.

This was hard to watch knowing that in my country $29k is probably what the majority of the people earn in 2 years, if they're lucky to have a good and stable job.

It's practically the same no matter what income they have! 😯 Except the super rich ppl but the idea is the same.
I make less than even 24k and I feel guilty for makeup, I used to feel guilty for therapy but now I get free therapy, spending money on myself (like a nicer facewash to better control my acne) and eating out.
I literally stopped doing all these things and slowly underwent major depression.
I enjoy saving money and am happy to cut off most of my spending habits, but if you keep yourself completely devoid of these things you won't be happy.

Biggest guilty pleasure is tattoos though.
