Some people don’t like money in the bank because it just sits there. They invest it so they can earn interest or double the money. I think it’s true but for me I also have an irrational fear of bank. If I ever make good enough money I would only leave only what is covered by the FDIC. Invest the rest not necessarily in stocks or real estates which are the go to.

I guess this is one of those questions where the answer really depends on where you live. $60,000 is a secure amount ($120,000 couple) in some areas. I think $120,000 for a single person would be where I'd stop caring about money as its enough to raise a family on 1 salary. I don't see much advantage in making more than that if it means working more hours and additional stress.

Clara Park Nope. Middle class people struggle to make ends meet all the time. Too “rich” for public assistance and too “poor” to afford everything else. Everyone finds happiness in their own way and money may not always be an important factor. But in general, if you make enough to support not only yourself, your family and loved ones, but also have enough to enjoy the finer things in life, treat yourself to expensive vacations, luxury items or whatever you desire, AND have good amount of leftovers for investment and savings, you would be quite satisfied with your income. The amount seems to be 200K+ in NYC according to this video and it’s quite accurate in my opinion. (aka upper middle class to upper class)

So basically 7 of the women were entitled and thought they were better than they actually were and the 3 that were actually good and successful got paid and were satisfied with their lives, wow Crazy how that works

It's a competition amongst superiority. We need what we want and whoever is able to show off what they have the most is simply better than the next person. It doesn't matter if your happier, who has more power

Money does buy happiness but only for a short period of time. It’s true, the day I went and bought my first Porsche, I was really happy but only for a month and it all becomes normal.
