Wonderful! To save on your spackling ... put an aluminum foil ball in the middle and pipe the 'cream' around it. It will also help to prevent leaning. New subbie ... off to look at your other crafts!
It makes me so sad that parents feel the need to explain they have kids because worried people will complain. Kids are such blessings whatever happen to life these people who watch utube videos just like to complain you do a wonderful job many blessings to you and your family
Thank you so much for this! I am just learning these and this is the best explaination I have seen so far. This will help me so much while I try and learn to make these lids! I appreciate your videos. I will be subscribing and watching so many more to learn from you. Much love!
I have a question. I'm new to your channel so I hope I'm not repeating something you've already answered. How do you seal the inside of the straw hole?
Heyyyyyy! I am a cake decorator and it's called a 1M open star tip, also if you fold the top of your piping bag down when you put the spakle in its less mess and easier to manipulate 🖤 Thanks for the fabulous tutorial 😘
On placement of the candies on the whipped or ice cream tops some I seen you waited till the spackle was dry and some you didn’t, what’s the difference and which is better?
The bigger candies is better to add in spackling before epoxy. Sprinkles is alot more easier to add after epoxy, that way you won't be adding 1 sprinkle at a time
Love..Love..Love...63...Retired..Looking for something to do...Thanks for listing all materials needed..New Subscribe..Thanks for your well explained tutorial..💕💕💕💕💕
Due to high demands for this particular spackling, it's been coming out a little wetter than usual. I would take the lid off and let it sit until it starts to thicken before using. The lid coming off will help the wet spackle to thicken enough to use it like whip cream
Ok, All I can say is WOW, MS Lovely Lady, GOD has blessed you with a very creative mind!! This is the first time I've seen this and I'm in awe of your skillz!!!skills!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!
Hey sis. I'm a new subscriber. I worked for Home Depot and saw a lot of broken DAP buckets. We joked about how much it looked like whipped cream and with a little color it would look like ice cream toppings. FANTASTIC JOB!!
Alicia that gives me a great idea! Maybe I'll ask Home Depot and Lowe's that when they have broken buckets that they call me STAT! and I'll come take it off their hands. Every little bit that I can get out is money in my pocket. LOL!
Love the tutorial, great job of explaining everything. I ain't gonna lie, by the time you put that lil chocolate on top, I was ready for my own ice cream😂😂 Now I gotta check out the other videos! Thank you for sharing💖
Omg this is genius!!!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing I've been wanting to try out something like this and the video makes me want to try it for sure!!! Amazing job!!!
Baby u always do a beautiful job with these lids. babe, u got m and ms am looking for them but am not seeing them where did u get the stuff your using? Plz and thanx
Question for you. I did some of these and the spackling started dropping and becoming a blob. Any thoughts as to why? I didn’t add any thing to the spackle. Temp of room is about 65. Thanks for any insight. I love your videos.
Thanks for watching y'all. Please go and join my new Facebook group page that I created for you guys to show off your beautiful lids. I would truly appreciate it facebook.com/groups/1164673750625490/
I love love love yo videos. Thank u Thank u. But plz stop. Yall spend too much time explaining y yo tools look used. They're suppose to. Ur using them. A Lot. But don't stop crafting. I love it. & I love u
Hi found your channel and love it. Thanks for all the helpful tips. I just have one question if I’m not doing the drip look do I still need to epoxy the spackle.
Thank you for posting this! They look beautiful. My only concern is are these food safe?? I could see little bits of dried spackle going into the cup every time they pull the straw in and out or the liquid touching the bottom of the lid where there is exposed spackle.
I show you how to completely cover the spackle without having to touch with straw or your mouth. Qtips, or really thin and pointy paint brushes can get into the most TIGHT spaces with epoxy foot coverage
Thank you!! So just thinking out loud, but would it be possible to do the “foundation “ on top of the lid and build up your ‘core’ or centerpiece right on top of it at the same time? F so, it would all dry together and already adhered and would save the step of glueing it on. But maybe that wouldn’t work?
The middle pieces is to secure your whip from sinking in. It need support to stay up. No support, then your spackle will sink down in the middle. I make a lot of those from unused spackling. Once I'm done with making the lids, I'll make some small ones to use later.
i love your tutorial! Thank You! I just have a question, I do a lot of the 14 oz mugs with the black lids, have you tried to put the whipped topping on those? Just wondering if it would be about the same process.
New subbie here!! I just bought some spackling yesterday!! Caulk seems too runny!! Getting started on mine now!! So fun!! Glad I found your channel!! 🎅🤶🎄🦌❤️
I love your work.. I hope one day I am able to make these.. Until I get the nerve to try, I will keep watching your videos and learn a little more with each one I watch. Thank you for sharing your wonderful craft with everyone. God bless
Thank you for the amazing tips and tricks. Do I need to seal the spackle on the underside where the straw goes? I noticed that there is some exposed when spackling the entire top that seeps through the straw hole. Please keep making these videos because you are amazing and your work is beautiful.
I love love this idea and your tutorial but after following the middle tower step I noticed mine is not fully drying out in the middle and it’s been well over 72 hrs. So I’m not wanting to go on the the next step until fully dry. Is it normal for it to feel spongy when I squeeze it a bit? (I do like in Kentucky and it’s a regular 40ish outside)
Awesome tutorial, however, that tiny hole in the lid has a purpose. It allows the liquid to flow throw the straw without creating a vacuum in the cup thus making it hard to suck the liquid out. Much like how when 1 gets a really thick milkshake and the straw caves in.
Does this need to be sealed with epoxy? Also, what about the underside next to the straw where the spackling could touch the drink, does that need sealed or anything?
Hiya Kash! I only could fine "Dap" Patch n Paint Lightweight spackling. It doesnt say it's "Fast N Final" . Will it still work, bc its lightweight spackling and it says its fast drying?
I hope you see this, but where do you get your tumblers and tops from? I keep finding the tops with the open/ close lids. I wanna only work with these lids
Wonderful! To save on your spackling ... put an aluminum foil ball in the middle and pipe the 'cream' around it. It will also help to prevent leaning. New subbie ... off to look at your other crafts!
Great idea... but I love the way I do it. Glue stick don't allow many things to stick very well like it do with the spackle.
New subbie thanks ! I have plenty of plaster of Paris , i cab use for this
So adorable!! I think my grandkids will love this!! And the terns at church!! They always have coffee or ice cream fundraiser!!
It makes me so sad that parents feel the need to explain they have kids because worried people will complain. Kids are such blessings whatever happen to life these people who watch utube videos just like to complain you do a wonderful job many blessings to you and your family
Awesome queen thank you for explaining how this is done ❤❤❤❤
I love this How many ice creams can you make out of that tub of spackle? And what do you charge for the completed look
Cute but I can't used these as I don't think its food safe. I'd do for show only
It become food safe once Spackling is covering it
Hi !!! Are you mixing your spackle with cornstarch?
Hello... not at all
OMG What a great tutorial!!! I couldn't figure out why mine wouldn't have volume but now I know! Thank You!!!!
You're welcome and thank you
Thank you so much for this! I am just learning these and this is the best explaination I have seen so far. This will help me so much while I try and learn to make these lids! I appreciate your videos. I will be subscribing and watching so many more to learn from you. Much love!

Not usually impressed with tutorials, BUT this was the BEST EVER!! So we'll explained and didn't take forever in one thing.. thank you so so much
Awe you're very welcome and thank you
I have a question. I'm new to your channel so I hope I'm not repeating something you've already answered.
How do you seal the inside of the straw hole?
You can use a small thin paint brush or a qtip to get into tight spaces
I have some piping bags from dollar tree, it’s gonna have to work ! Lol
Heyyyyyy! I am a cake decorator and it's called a 1M open star tip, also if you fold the top of your piping bag down when you put the spakle in its less mess and easier to manipulate 🖤
Thanks for the fabulous tutorial 😘
Thank you. I have learned different ways on doing this.
Heck ya ganna try this thanks
You're very welcome

What kind of wrinkles do you use and how long do you bake the cream on yop
I do not bake mines. I turn on oven light and let sit in there for 48hrs
Is the glue stronger or using spackle to secure spackle better?
Both work GREAT together
I can seem to get my spackle to stop melting am I doing something wrong.
Due to high demands for this particular spackling, it's been coming out a little wetter than usual. I would take the lid off and let it sit until it starts to thicken before using. The lid coming off will help the wet spackle to thicken enough to use it like whip cream

I tried these previously and it seemed so heavy. Is this common?
Depends on how much spackle and epoxy you add to it

Sorry so late. But you can let the spackle sit out and dry for a bit before use to thicken it
Can you put it in the oven for a bit to harden? What temperature?
Yes but not sure what temp to put on because I've never done this before
Thanks for this tutorial. Simple. Clear and easy to follow.
You're very welcome
Incredible just learning all of this 👍
Is the whip safe for hand washing?
Once you add epoxy and epoxy is completely cured
What do you use for the drizzle?
Epoxy and alcohol inks. You can also use small amount of paint
Thanks for watching y'all. Please go and join my new Facebook group page that I created for you guys to show off your beautiful lids. I would truly appreciate it

Awesome!!! Do you add the candies while the spackling is still soft or do you wait until it's hard?
Add candies right after you finding making your whipped cream
Thank you for posting this! They look beautiful. My only concern is are these food safe?? I could see little bits of dried spackle going into the cup every time they pull the straw in and out or the liquid touching the bottom of the lid where there is exposed spackle.

OMG, how cute is that?! Can't wait to try it. Do you have any tips on how to wash/clean the whipped cream portion of the tumbler? Thanks

I use lightweight spackling
Your work is beautiful! Thank you.
Thank you
i love your tutorial! Thank You! I just have a question, I do a lot of the 14 oz mugs with the black lids, have you tried to put the whipped topping on those? Just wondering if it would be about the same process.
Should be the same process
Great informative video and great end products! Thanks!
Thank you
New subbie here!! I just bought some spackling yesterday!! Caulk seems too runny!! Getting started on mine now!! So fun!! Glad I found your channel!! 🎅🤶🎄🦌❤️
It happens sometimes. You can just add some corn starch or flour to put on just let it sit out and get some air to thicken it.
This was great! I’m excited about making this! How did you do the drizzle?
I have a video posted for this. Thank you
It’s a 1M tip. 💜
Thank you 😊
You're very welcome
You may have answered this somewhere but, is it food safe?
never mind, I just saw that you said after it's cured with epoxy! Great job on yours
Thanks darling you are a GENIUS. I'm a senior Citizen looking for another way. Thank you so much. God Bless

Simply beautiful, unique, and creative! You did that!
Thank you
I love your work.. I hope one day I am able to make these.. Until I get the nerve to try, I will keep watching your videos and learn a little more with each one I watch. Thank you for sharing your wonderful craft with everyone. God bless
Thank you and you're very welcome
Do you have to put it in the oven?
What if I leave it sitting for a week? The whip flat on the lid? Glue goes on the bottom of the lid right?
It can take longer than a week depending on consistency of the spackle
How much do you charge for these
You can reach me here for purchases facebook.com/KashKollectionz2/
Thank you for the amazing tips and tricks. Do I need to seal the spackle on the underside where the straw goes? I noticed that there is some exposed when spackling the entire top that seeps through the straw hole. Please keep making these videos because you are amazing and your work is beautiful.
Yes... just the spackle where the straw hole is needs covering with epoxy. Not the hole itself
I have a question.. what did u use for your chocolate, caramel, and strawberry drizzle
Do you put Fray check on them? I quit buying the burlap back because it drives me crazy when it freys
Cute! Do you seal the bottom of the lid so the sparkle doesn’t get moist? (New subscribers)
What if you want chocolate ice cream, do you paint the slacks after drying or do you color the sparkle?
Can you drink out of them ?
Yes

Hi. Just starring to get back into crafting. When the spackles dries does it hold the candies?
Great tutorial thank you

Why do you prefer glue gun compared to another glue? This is all so amazing! So creative, I love it!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Glue gun dries quicker
wilton 18 m tip/ cupcake tip/ star tip
I have to catch the replay a year later. Merry Christmas 2022.
