We assessed the levels just below Dartmeet, the river was dropping slower than we expected so some of the group got off there and the rest of us carried on down to New Bridge.
Lovely high level run down. The Dart is such a great river, its so different at different levels there is always fun to be had if you are competent and respectful enough of nature and your own limitations.

Apologies if I have spelt your name wrong, great videos, pleasure watching, very informative. I see you haven't done anymore for over a year, that's a shame as they are very educational. Would you be able to give me the grid reference of the pixi cave please my daughter would love to see that. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your videos just keep getting better! Really love your videography (liked the vantage point from beneath when Petra jumped over the camera across the rocks early on), and that you talk, but also showcase your surroundings (have watched videos wherein people hike, but keep the camera aimed at their faces, and talk the entire time while amazing scenery passes by behind them 😳). Love the creepy pixie story (& music 🎶), and that blue marble you left 💙! I noticed Petra staying at the cave entrance (smart lady! 😘🐕). Thank you, Shamus, you are a fun fount of knowledge!!

Outdoors Inspiration - I also spied some Aigle boots; I love those! Little less rural, more suburban around here, but I still manage to have 2 pairs that I relish pulling out when we get stormy weather ⛈🤗
THWatson - definitely comfortable boots. I have a two pairs- one pair are neoprene lined but make my socks slip down my foot 😂 Popular with shooting and fishing here.
Outdoors Inspiration 😁 oh yes, I’m familiar with that sock slippage- sometimes the heel grip will nudge my socks down into a massive feeling bundle. Good times! 🙈

Hi , Shamus ,subscribed to your channel a couple of weeks a go I find you are really knowledgeable and have a good grounding in the Great Outdoors , I am not thirsty but I find it quite refreshing !
Could be the start of a great channel you never stop learning ,even when you get to 61 always been an out doors man fishing ,camping and now climbing a few Munros , I think the pleasure I take from it will keep me going for the rest of my life LOVE IT !
