How To Use and Maintain Your LeverLock Paddle Adjustment

The patented Leverlock system is designed to make it easy for you to adjust your SUP or kayak paddle to the proper length. The system operates with a lever that connects by cable to an expandable rubber collar. When in the locked position the collar expands inside the shaft, locks in place, and creates a watertight seal. When the lever is released the collar shrinks in diameter allowing you to adjust the length of the paddle.
After each use remove the Lever lock system from the shaft and rinse with fresh water
Air dry each piece before putting them back together
Keep your paddle out of the sun when not in use.
Occasionally, the cable that joins the lever and the collar needs to be tightened.
If the handle or blades are not locking in place when the lever is in the locked position, adjustment is needed.
Lift the lever and remove the lever lock system out of the paddles shaft. Locate the bolt and pin on the bottom.
With pliers turn the nut clockwise a quarter turn while holding the shaft in place using your thumb against the pin.
After re-installing the Leverlock, close the lever and test to make sure it is tight and secure.
It should not twist or move when you apply pressure. If it does, repeat the process until tight.
If used and maintained properly the Leverlock system will give you years of trouble free enjoyment.
