  • The Standard Boston Valve is a 1-way valve used on some of Aquaglide’s kayaks. There are three threaded parts to the valve. The valve Coller, valve body, and cap.
Prior to inflation, test to make sure the valve collar is tight. If your boat uses a hexshell outer fabric, keep the fabric clear from the threads. The cap is used to access the 1-way valve when inflating.
Unscrew the cap. Hold onto the valve body with one hand and then insert Boston Valve adapter into valve. Press in firmly until the adapter is seated. The adapter should stay in the valve when you let go.
(pro hack- if the adapter is not staying in valve lightly sand the adapter tip)
Your boat may utilize a smaller Boston Valve for its floor. Use a small Boston Valve adapter to inflate. A small Boston Valve adapter comes with your boat. This adapter also comes with Aquaglide’s kayak hand pump.
Keeping your face clear of the valve, unscrew the valve body to release air from the boat. Once deflated leave the valves open and roll the boat from the bow to stern to push all the air out. Screw valve body back on to keep air from re-entering and avoid misplacement.

Is that like an "innie" belly button? I have no clue! But every smart ass answer deserves an honest element for balance. I might disassemble the valve by unscrewing the base "collar" that's used to attach the valve to the boat fabric. then I'd use my finger to push the part through.
