Hey glad I found you by accident. Should have "Sportspal" in the title there are many fans of this boat and you could help out lots more people Thanks so much I need to restore mine a tad also like clean up the aluminum and the foam. Amazing how much better you made it. I have hope mine will look the same. Boy you are lucky to have that nice little river /creek in your backyard. Hope you can have fun in it and go for a distance with your sportspal
Pair of saw horses would have been very helpful I’m sure.
That was quite substantial refurbishment. My hat's off to you. Awesome
Finally I can now restore the old floater back in the garage! You don't understand how long it has taken me to finally step up to the plate and do this. So glad to finally see an actual understanding video on how I can restore my Watercraft. Thanks a ton James ! Thumbs Up, keep up the great videos!
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any help you can offer me.
@Ricardo Jordy Instablaster :)
@Tyler Martin I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Tyler Martin it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my ass !
@Ricardo Jordy no problem :D

Enjoyed it.
I recently bought an old Sportspal and will be restoring her to her former glory over the winter. Thank you this video, it was very informative. 👍

You have no idea how much time this video saved me.
Thank you!
+peter yeung glad to hear it was helpful. Thanks for watching.
You bet.
Thanks for posting this video. I redid a sports pall just like the one on your video and thanks to you it turned out great.
Awesome video brother
Thank you so much! This was exactly what i was looking for! #Subbed
Happy belated birthday Buddy. Love ya
This is my exact model purchased for $150 with a note that said 'leaks'. even as is I've used it 6 years but now is the time.
I've been looking for a used Sportspal canoe over the last month without much look. I've looking in Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Any suggestions on where to find a Sportspal?
Great video! I just picked up this exact canoe for $50 under the brand name Radisson. I’m going to restore it via your directions! Do you use this solo? I was hoping to use this solo on a river/creek, is that doable?
Thanks!
awesome video, but... DE-CAL! lmfao its not decle...
Yeah that got me too.
Hey did you end up reinstalling the sponsons or left it without them?
Any ideas when the previous owner glued down the foam in the boat?
The foam is factory.
How is it holding up 2 years later?
What happens if you forget to label the rivets has you take them out and if u accidently bend them on the removal is it game over ?
Ribs*
They will be different size and it will be a bitch.
Is the liner necessary? Could you replace it with somthing else?
The liner is there for sound dampening. Aluminum canoes can be really loud.
great video and great tips but the best part is when his kid is the test subject too see if it leaks. remember that if you dont want to get wet use a child.
nice job however that is a myers sportspal sticker not the radisson one .....nice all the same
