I know this is an old video but these tires are phenomenal in every terrain. I can not believe that they are not more common. I've logged thousands of miles on the highway, sand dunes, rocks in the New Mexico desert, tough rocks and mud in the UP and sharp rocky muddy mountain trails in the Ozarks. And the daily commute on back country roads in the snow is amazing.
I'm new to the channel and I'm getting these tires in the near future with some 20x10 fuel assaults to go on my 14 sierra and you've made me feel better about my decision. I'm in Roanoke VA also lol small world.
Not sure on snow but the nitto ridge grapplers are awesome if you hate how mud tires ride. They are quiet, last a long time, and well worth the money. I haven't ran the R/T yet, but I have heard they are just as good. Don't be afraid to pick up a set of those after these.
Dude I love my R/Ts. Got them in this last November and they are great in snow! Haven't tried any deep mud yet but soon enough. Keep up the good work man...... I got an 03 cat eye and have learned a lot from you on my lift and tire combo. Thanks again man. O have you redone your headliner yet? I'm fixing to.
Ill be running lt265/75r16 Toyo open country at2 aw’s for the winter months and then swapping to the same size Toyo open country mt’s come spring. Stock rims for now on my 2018 Tacoma trd off-road until I find some I like
What part of VA you in? Also, I'm debating the RTs and AT2s. The RTs cost less then the AT2s, which is odd. But, I do more on road driving then off-road. But, the RTS look wicked.

If you drive on slippery roads and packed snow but not deep powder, id say bfg ko2s were the best winter tires I've had. If you want to do some deep snow and mud I'd go with the toyo RT
The R/T's were some of the worst tires I've ran in snow, rain, mud on my '19 F250 CCSB in size 37". In snow I had 600 lbs in the bed and just like bowtieguy97 I'm in VA. The R/T's also don't last very long if your doing much interstate driving, I got 30k out of them. The main problem the R/T's have, is what the M/T's have, which is the rubber compound Toyo now uses gets hard and looses gripping force. Toyo A/T's I've read are decent but I'm not interested in them.

Best tires for my Raptor SVT hands down. They wear good, have excellent handling and good grip in all conditions.
Are you one of the majority Raptor drivers that never goes off-road? Just asking.

Glad you found the channel 👍

Nice! Live in VA myself & its snowing now, have a 1997 Tahoe w/ 37" Nitto mud grapplers.... they suck in snow.
I had some too, they sucked such as much in the mud lol!
I've had all the tires you have named off hands down best tire to get is the Goodyear Duratrac
Toyo r/t's are probably the best tire I've ever owned. Great for all conditions!

I would like to see how they compare to the goodyear wrangle duratracs..... the duratracs will go anywhere you point the truck in the snow
Man you gotta try the Mudclaw Extremes! They are a mud tire! But I live in Montana and I absolutely love them!
I saw your buddy's orange 5.3 colorado today in troutville

Roanoke and I’m stilling loving the RTs
Interested in these tires. Any idea how well they stop on ice or snow?
I’m assuming you have the 6.0 because of your vortex max emblems what exhaust do you have on it sounds good and isn’t loud as shit
So what does doing doughnuts show exactly?

What tire would u recommend for a 2wd silverado for the winter time
Depends on your budget
bowtieguy97 let’s say 1200 dollar budget
Toyo opencountrys, Nitto Terra Grapplers, good year duratrac

Your truck seems to be the same hieght as you
Truck is 6’6 I’m 6’2

How about rain/wet roads

😁
No truck this time? Cause I’ve got an 04 1500 Silverado on 4” of lift 35x12.50 on Fuel Forged 22x12 best part is it’s real 👍
The truck would look so good without the side molding on
Cooper AT3.
Why does your truck have a Vortec max badge if it’s a 5.3?
At least it makes as much hp as the 6.0 if not more... definetely more
Highly doubt it.
No - the answer is definitely no...
They suck, terrible in rain.
No, they’re not.
No.
