Your just getting better and better ! Very informative, please focus on tyre weights as apart of your reviews in the future !!!!!! Thankyou so much, as when we spend the coin its a big decision, so as much info we can get the better.
Legend Pelzy! Thanks very much. Don't go just believing one source, though, it's always good to check around, particularly with your local store, too 👍
I have the Rt’s on my patrol done 40 plus thousand over 3.5 years and they have been awesome. Also have the at2 on my navara for the last two years and done 40 on them as well. Been really good
The RT has been my longest lasting tire ever by at least a factor of 2. They are fantastic and better in all regards (except noise) than any more street oriented tire.
@@4rdzllaI found the rt to be very quiet. I run 35 12.50's on a 7.3 f250, and a 6.0 f350. Mileage is excellent as stated. I got 50k with a bad alignment. Just sayin..
Great review, thank you. I waited ages hoping to get the AT3 for our Prado but ended up getting the Maxxis RAZRs which I am very happy with. Done 10,000ks so far, great in the wet and makes the car feel a lot better.
Good choice! And thanks for the feedback. If you're keen, make sure you leave a review for them on www.tyrereview.com.au, as then it'll be in the database to inform others forever more, plus you'll go in the running to win a fuel card 🤘
It's coming! Like, within days! Hopefully. I screwed up the audio on the last couple of segments, so we're just seeing if our tame audio guy can save it at all. It's decent, but not the usual dulcet tones you guys are used to 😅 Thanks for your patience!
Im running the R/T's on my 55 series LandCruiser and so far been pretty happy with their performance on road.. yet to use them in anger offroad.. but their time will come

@@lronpaw Ohhh, you're in Hobart? I might have even ogled your bus before! Keep an eye out for my farm ute that blends into the background cos its so dirty 😅
Great review. I've recently put AT2's on my 79 series. (I was tempted by the Wildpeaks but the load rating for my size was quite alot less than the Toyo's ie:117 to 121). I've noticed that the US Toyo site has R/T Trail tyres which appear to be half way between the AT's and the RT's. Have you heard if these are going to be sold here in Australia? They look like an excellent compromise.
I've actually got the toyo RT's on my ute ( 285/75R16 ). They get rotated every 5,000kms ( 6 tyre rotation ). Currently I've done 37,000kms on them with 5mm of tread depth left. I will struggle for 50,000kms out of these tyres. Whilst they are a good all round tyre for my usage. There lack of tread milage vs cost ratio is the disappointment.
I absolutely hate my rts and cant wait to get new tires when i at least get my money out of them the problem was that when i ordered one looked a little like it was used anyways since ive had tbat tire changed colors and also its very hard to balance les shwuabs had been zero help in bend Oregon and they wont replace .
Great tire review! For LT 10 ply tires would you say the Toyo AT3 or Falken Wildpeak AT3W have a stiffer sidewall? I recall one of your other videos you mentioned the wild peak having a rather stiff 2 ply sidewall compared to other 2 ply all terrains.
Just bought some 33 .12.50 .20 RT trails for my F150. These tires better hold up well or I'm gonna be pissed! Almost 1,500$ for some tires that's only good for 40k miles.
@@Nigel__ I plan to possibly buy another set for my current truck. The nitto trail grappler m/t I have now arent quiet and the tread disappeared quickly in my opinion. Work well off road though. My truck spends most of its time on road which is why I'll probably go back to the toyo r/t.
Hey Andrew, they're a slightly more aggressive version of the AT2 with a chunkier sidewall and a couple of other things. I haven't had a close look, but they could be good for the right situation 👍👍

I worked a tire shop for a while when I was younger, Toyo has one of the best sidewalls ,by far
Sure u did

Very interested in The RT
Well done Sir. I would love to see your presentation on the Nitto Grappler family. I run Ridge Grapplers on my vehicle
Hat among the four tires you've presented. I choose number 2
My rt is now running 54,000 kilometer , and it I think it could go 60k, so happy with it both on road and off road and wet road
Patiently waiting for the baja boss A/T long term review

Hi, is the Toyo RT Trail coming soon in Australia?
OPMT - Largest size available is a 37x13.50R18.
What you recommend for Pajero/Montero AT 90% on road and 10 only off road?
Would love to see a general grabber atx review!
Definitely not a Toyo!
