Got my link cable and sometimes i wanna stream games straight from the quest. Not in the pc app if u know what i mean. Like asgards wrath 2 and stuff.
6:17 you likely ARE going to want to do cinematic, the fov is GREATLY increased when doing so to a point where it somewhat mimics what you can get with pcvr
The best method for me is, as I have a capture card and a Chromecast Stick, I just record the Chromecast via capture card and the output is displayed in stream. You will always have a delay but this is then wireless and stable.
What do you do about the audio not picking up your mic? I used to stream using the wireless cast months ago and it was good enough but now it’s so bad I had to switch to wired in the dev hub and it’s almost good but I can’t hear myself at all. I worry if i use like my phone as a microphone it’ll pick up gameplay or the timing won’t be synced

I was looking for someone that knows what they are tlaking about, as so many people don't. You seem to know what you're saying. I have so many questions especialy about using my Link Cable that I got from Meta, and streaming to my Desktop to share in Discord, or Stream on Twitch, there's so much tutorials, and so many people saying so many different things - It's hard to know the best way to do things. I care about Quality, and Making good Videos - So, if you have some spare time, would you mind teaching me, to help me get a start with my VR?
Thank you for the great video. I have a question. When I connect my computer to the VR using something like Airlink and mirror it, a black background appears on the side and there seems to be a delay. Is there a solution to this? What is the problem?
Nice video but really wish you put links in. The MQDH seems to have been updated and can't find the 3.4 download (or any others). Also sort of wish you moved your web cam to a different location so we could see URL's and other things in that area of the screen.

@@TridusVR last question for the wired casting you make the browser inside of obs studios and go live with that browser correct? Then you also have the non wired casting pulled up to the side in order so see chat?
with method 2, does this mean I don't have to have the quest 3 connected to wifi? I'm trying to find a way to stream/cast without needing the quest connected to wifi, I want it ran solely through the computer via the USBC 3.0 cord.
How do i add quest 3 audio to OBS. I can get the video just fine but for some reason audio doesnt come through. I want to record the microphone audio from the quest 3.
@palmossi yeah it's confusing and got it to work you got to connect your headset and have the love chat thing not on until you actually go live on obs than you can turn on live chat and it worked
the video shows you but it basically just boils down to changing the crop through the settings icon on method 1, or changing the aspect ratio(next to the FPS) to 16:9 on method 2
the fact meta literally owns instagram and refuses to do anything about making it able to stream from your pc or quest directly to the platform is so braindead..the live options they have now are absolutely terrible. if vr wasn't so slow currently with other companies, i would have never got a quest. they have all the options in the world and do absolutely nothing to show their products even exist. i thought vr content would be huge by now...but its still the same as 4 years ago.

Yeah, I tried to stream Fruit ninja using method 1and it was choppy as all hell. (No pun intended) They really have made it difficult to stream from quest. Recording isn't that much easier either. We could do with an app like 'wifi file transfer pro' to move recoded video to your computer over WiFi. Some one add the play store to quest 3 pls.

If your using PCVR then just pull up a chat window through oculus link
You need the developer hub for wired casting, on obs you should have a window or display capture on it

As of knowledge there’s no way to fix it. Meta would have to patch it. It might’ve been patched by now though. Try and see if it works

its a common problem, make sure to put your channel handle in, other that that, just keep trying until it works
