I highly doubt it will be forsakened in this generafion, or the next. Most games nowadays are just throwaways. For easy cash. The only game I found worth playing right now was Persona 5. But other than that, TF2 was the only game that would still have an active player base. Even when the trend of Battle Royale began, it's too damn durable. To kill it, they need to find a game that can bring the same love. Where it did not trend for "diverse" characters, or the like. Just 9 dudes, and loads of fun. But considering the games being released, it maybe possible TF2 will be the only game that will outlive all other competing games.

I highly doubt it will be forsakened in this generafion, or the next. Most games nowadays are just throwaways. For easy cash. The only game I found worth playing right now was Persona 5. But other than that, TF2 was the only game that would still have an active player base. Even when the trend of Battle Royale began, it's too damn durable. To kill it, they need to find a game that can bring the same love. Where it did not trend for "diverse" characters, or the like. Just 9 dudes, and loads of fun. But considering the games being released, it maybe possible TF2 will be the only game that will outlive all other competing games.
