Outstanding! I love seeing the evolution of this character from season 11 to 15 and seeing her become more "humanized" and 2 dimensional as she grew into her own "person", thinking, feeling and experiencing life for herself. And how she went from trying to destroy the world to trying to save it. It makes me so sad for her to see how truly lonely she was and that she never really got to belong anywhere 💔. This video shows what a deep, misunderstood and emotional (and humorous lol) being she was💜. It was a shame that every time those elements started to come out in the show.
Yeah, same!! It was such a fascinating journey for me to rewatch these scenes with a focus on Amara only, because her incredible character development kind of got lost in everything else going on in canon. (Especially with a multi-season break before we saw her again.) It was a pretty epic move from her to go from being The Darkness bent on destroying the world to declaring herself a defender of creation. Thank you so much for your comment!
It's a pity that Amara felt betrayed by Dean at the end! Though that was due more to Chuck's constant twisting of words & his manipulation!
I wonder if Jack will let Amara out for a bit later on, or allow her to walk around a bit... not stay inside him forever!
True, things might have happened in a very different way if Chuck hadn't managed to use her own hurt against her like this. I wish Team Free Will had come up with a different plan from the start, one that didn't include killing Amara and Jack. (Not that the plan ever went through as planned, but still, that was the root of why Amara felt betrayed.)
Oh, I very much hope that Amara still gets to be herself as an individual, not just a power hidden somewhere inside of Jack. It's fun to imagine them taking turns, in a way similar to Michael and Adam.

Season 11 is my favourite season and for me is the third best season. First is season one, then season four, and season 11.
Yeah, I know a lot of people hate season 11, but personally I've always enjoyed it a lot, too. I think Amara is really interesting.
Would have been cool to have the brothers each take on a mark to bind the twins. Dean Amara and Sam chuck as Sam and chuck ended up having a wierd bond from the gun and Dean and Amara already had a bond. As immortals Dean could rule over purgatory where he could satiate the mark indefinitely and sam could rule over hell as by the end Sam can literally scare off demons from trying to take the reins of hell with a stern talking to so it just seems fitting. You could still have jack take over heaven to maintain the clear intended blasphemy of the literal antichrist taking charge upstairs 😂

Amara, the most powerful character in the entire show. Another one of my favorite characters in the show. I ship Dean and Amara so much lol it's hard not to. Dean never really got the girl in the end or a soulmate. He had a lot of fun and wild relationships but he never really had a final endgame on like Sam did even though for some reason they made it a random woman for Sam and didn't even show us who it was which I find a bit interesting but that's okay. Dean is a wild man to kiss and have a lowkey relationship with Amara especially considering you know Chuck. Dean had the most powerful love interest in the show lol but now that Amara is in Jack, I wonder if she'll ever get an appearance again if the show ever returned for a 16th season. If she does I hope it's grand.
Yeah, the finale was just... weird in many ways. I have NO idea why they decided to go with a random woman for Sam either (and one whose face we didn't even get to see?) It's interesting, back when season 11 first aired, I was mostly creeped out by Amara's relationship to Dean. But now after the show ended and we know what she was like in season 15, I see many things through different eyes. We also got the confirmation that she never used her power to cause Dean's attraction to her in some way, or otherwise she wouldn't have asked Chuck if that had been his writing.
Same! I'm also really wondering what their plan for Amara is if the reboot everyone keeps mentioning is really going to happen. Is the still sharing a body with Jack, or did they split again? CAN they split, or was that merge irreversible? Hm, I hope we find out more in the future. Glad you enjoyed this video, too!

I really liked amara relationship with dean but I hated how things ended between them
Yep, I hated that he chose to betray her in the end. That heartbreak was the only reason she agreed with Chuck's plan (and seeing her tears the moment she made that decision really hit me). Plus, the betrayal wasn't even good for anything! That plan backfired either way, so her heart was broken for absolutely nothing. And all of that after she had gone as far as making a stand against her brother to defend the universe. She really, really deserved better.
This is like a great movie trailer. I hope there will be a story of Death in the future.

The order I'm creating the videos in is normally related to my writing, when I need to look into a character more closely to write them. For now, Death is not part of the story I'm writing, so a video for him is not on my to-do list for the near future. But I greatly enjoyed every scene he was in on the show. Such a fascinating character who somehow managed to combine an aura of ancient power and dignity and knowledge with hilarious sarcasm and a love for fast food!
There's definitely a chance I'll just make a video for him for fun at some point, even if I'm not actively trying to write the character. (Or he might make an appearance in one of my stories in the future, who knows.)

@@hidingamaranthYour video makes me think it would be great if there was a movie version of this too. The supernatural universe and the relationship between God and Darkness is fascinating to explore. They seem to have a complicated brotherhood. She's definitely one of my favorite characters. And she shows various emotions in the series. While I think that if Death had its own introductory video it might be much shorter. Because he never showed any emotion other than indifference, except one time 'Nice pickle chips by the way'

Amara was one of the powerful characters in supernatural but unfortunately like other female characters in the series her true potential was wasted in my opinion she's one of my favorite female characters in the series
Yeah, same, I absolutely loved her character development from a supposedly "evil" cosmic entity who had never experienced life on Earth to a self-declared protector of the universe. She deserved a better ending than what the show gave her.
In a way Amara was the strongest female character on the show 🤔

No in a way she was the strongest female character. Even Billie was far weaker as she feared the Empty which wasn’t as powerful as either Amara or Chuck.
I just wish we had more time with her in season 11 and 15. Like she and Jack together like maybe in his mind explaining that she and God were like this. One force but separate wills but God always wanted to be free.
But I wonder if they will do what I heard if they bring Supernatural back. As one rumor when the series end is Jack isn’t fully God even with Amara and Chuck’s power. The Natural Order demands that which creates darkness and light to remain for existence. Amara creates darkness and while Jack took God’s power he isn’t the light. So he would have to absorb God too but something is hiding him.
