My channel is focused on creating content about my favorite TV show Supernatural, from reactions to analysis videos, reviews, ending explained videos, top 10 lists, theories and everything in between. Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, b*llhounds, Leviathans, Djinns, Ghouls, demigods, witches, Wraiths, Ghosts, Wendigos, spirits, Changelings, Jefferson Starships, Clowns, Scarecrow, the four horsemen, angels and even Archangels like Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. Maverick McFarlane but the antihero still holds. He was made to wear the mark and yea it didn’t make him the way he was. But it brought all those actions he resisted brought to the service. He was traumatized with no one to help him. So he made hell traumatized, manipulated, and lied to a lot of people. Even his own son.
If anything, the actor who played Lucifer did an amazing job of making the audience feel bad for Lucifer. But yea, anyway it’s sliced he was right about god. I mean supernaturals!god.
One thing I always found interesting was how when Lucifer beat Michael he wanted to preserve the earth and seemed to treasure nature (and maybe also animals) just not humans. But when Michael won he basically (as far as I remember) destroyed everything, not just humans but also plants, animals and monsters.
This rendition of Lucy is a two faced masochist that basks in the blood of anything he can get his grimy hypocritical hands on. But in his defense, if his dad wasn't playing favorites, things would've been for the better.

Lucifer is often credited for being the most prideful but after the final episode of the second last season I wonder who is really the most prideful

I love this series. But it is for entertainment purposes. This series is quite anti-biblical. The truth is, Lucifer is the most prideful. God is above all already, what is the point of raising Himself even further? The position is still the same. Lucifer was below God. He sinned against Him, and this was cast from Heaven.

@@MainframeSupertasker Yes but the biblical version only applied to them when they were immortal beings. Older people show growth and wisdom because, when time is running out, they have to look back at their lives and put it in perspective. Time is meaningless to an immortal so Lucifer and Chuck never had reason to do that. Thats why the show's version is so interesting. Because of Sam, Dean, Amara, Michael etc, Lucifer and Chuck know they can die and finally have to come to grips with who they are just like the rest of us.

It’s so sad what they did to Lucifer, like just the fact Dean and Sam were in the scene acting so nonchalant with Lucifer after what they went through with you know, the apocalypse.

I am pretty sure Chuck is Lucifer not god
The irony is that while Lucifer WAS right about God... he was also God's son; incapable of seeing his own flaws. He constantly calls out God for making him the Devil in biblical history, and then kills everyone who gets in his way, upsets him or mildly sasses him. Or looks at him funny. Or tells a joke that makes him laugh.
He is the Arch-Angel closest to his father, so we all should've seen this coming.
EDIT: For example, the simple irony of, "It's not like he invented the Prius, something that actually WORKS." God invents humans, humans invent the Prius. His joke actually highlights the humans creating things greater than themselves, which is one of the larger themes of the whole series, but uses it as a slight for God creating humans in the first place.
The fact of the matter is, God didn't create humans to be better than him. He created humans out of a desire to create, and asked the Angels to praise them as his 'finest work' because it was the work he was most proud of, but never considered them 'better' than he was, or ever considered his own failings as a creature. After all, he created almost all other life in the universe save his sister and maybe death; who does he have to compare himself to that he himself did not create?
But God created us in his own image (in Supernatural lore at least), and as we are flawed so is he. And as the Angel closest to God, Lucifer is actually the angel closest to humanity: the least machine/soldier-like angel. Which, unfortunately, also makes him the most flawed... but with the greatest potential.

who else wishes it could have been Mark portraying Lucifer here? I just feel the performance so much more when Mark portrays Lucifer. Misha is a wonderful actor, but Lucifer isnt a good fit for him. Mark was one of the most believable performances ive seen on the show

I agree. Mark has a sense of menace to his Lucifer which cuts through how over exaggerated his character is.
I like Misha but he doesn’t have that same level of intimidation or bubbling aggression so his performance comes off as a bit ham and parodic

I think Misha was the better choice for talking to Chuck. He shows emotions better. Mark is better at playing the villain. But Misha is better at playing the human side of angels which is what was needed for that scene.
Early seasons Lucifer terrifies the Winchesters.
Later seasons, Winchesters just want him and daddy to make up and even stick up for him.
Lucifer was right the whole time.
Maybe but it doesn’t change the fact that lucifer is a complete monster with no moral ambiguity whatsoever on his side.

In Supernatural, Michael was the first archangel but Lucifer was the most beloved prior to his corruption by the Mark bringing out his dormant jealousy towards his brothers and humanity and amplifying it to omnicidal levels.
Knowing what we know now, this scene is so disturbing in a way. Chuck had such little respect for Lucifer he was lying through his teeth that entire time. He truly didn’t care about anyone, as long as his story continued on the right path he would lie to anyone
Which is half the reason I don't like the new season. This was a brilliant scene and I feel season 15 completely ruins it
@@AussieRider20 exactly. I think we can all agree that chuck wasn't evil and should never get evil but the writers ran out of ideas and big baddies, so they chose to make him a villain instead of getting a bit creative with something new
@@AussieRider20 ruins it is a bit strong. As soon as I learned Chuck was God and season five, I knew he was the ultimate bad guy. After all, he was the one who created all of the misery that Sam and dean had to go through.
The only complaint I have is it took 14 seasons for them to realize that it was him who was the author (no pun intended) of all of their grief.
What if chuck wanted to be defeated? To me, Chuck knew everything, he's all-knowing, so I knew it would end that way, but that's what he wanted: to be the last and most powerful boss in his story: Supernatural. However, he wasn't the best in this role as other antagonists were a bit more natural and interesting, but Chuck isn't an actor or a character, he's a writer. He could get rid of people and Sam and Dean if he wanted to. He didn't do that because I think he didn't want that. Also, in Despair we see that Chuck knew about Jack's death and plan, he really seems to be omniscient. The last scene near the lake where its protagonists Sam, Dean and Jack win by taking all their divine powers is, according to me, desired by Chuck (as seems foreshadowed in Atomic Monsters). And he probably wanted to be killed by them too, it would have been an honor (but he probably knew they wouldn't). The begging part and his defeat was theatrical, just the way he likes it: the evil almighty God who destroyed the worlds losing to the good and fantastic protagonists of his story and cursed to be a mere human being for the rest of his life. his life. A poetic ending like the one he said he wanted at the end of 14x20. That for me explains a lot of things about the season 15 finale and it doesn't ruin Chuck's character.
Yeah, I can't buy that💁🏻♀️ Chick wasn't evil, they just made him evil because they apparently thought they just had to keep going bigger and bigger until inevitably God himself becomes the bad guy. It's just dumb.
The irony is that Lucifer was always right about Chuck and his interest in his creation, so much so that Chuck even dared to lock up his sister Amara... In the Unity chapter Amara merged with Chuck to be a single cosmic entity where Chuck has the command, I believe that in the creation Amara was the one that had the Light and the Dark and create the Universe... As we all know Amara the Goddess of Darkness had more empathy for humanity than Chuck

I wish Lucifer and Michael played a bigger role in the finale. Seeing them make peace and fight against God then rule heaven together would have been soooo good. Especially after rewatching this episode that really humanized Lucifer. It sucks that they just made him into a sarcastic villain again after this

Now i finally understand why Michael and Lucifer chose the vessels they did, now you understand the story of cain and abel and why Dean was able to relate to Cain, why Cain killed his brother, the good son going down the road of good intentions, now the speech that Lucy/Sam makes at the end reflects the speech in the final season.....ITS BRILLIANT....

Interestingly, the entire God and Lucy therapy scene raises so many logical inconsistencies.
So God knew that the mark would corrupt Lucy, so imprisons Lucy and Amara? Apparently the mark is the problem. Also, God allowed some simple oversight such as Death’s scythe to be Death’s undoing AND the one-shot means to unleash the darkness?
Speaking of the darkness. Since nothing can escape from the empty (except when a god-level character calls for it), why didn’t Chuck toss Amara into the empty?
Also, for an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient being, God was clueless about the future and the effects of things it should’ve foreseen, such as extinction events (which weren’t due to human intervention)?
And, it allowed human beings to destroy each other instead of reengineering out genome to eliminate greed, hate and disease?
All those recent revelations really do put a whole new spin on the events from the earlier seasons, and indeed on Lucifer himself...

When you think about it Chuck wasn’t always the villain. At some point in the past he did genuinely want to help his followers. But as time grew he became disillusioned with the world and its people. I mean when you could literally create entire dimensions like nothing then do your creations really mean that much when you could snap your fingers and create infinitely more it wouldn’t be long before you start wondering what is real and what is fake. I mean if you could literally create a person with a snap of your fingers are they real?
I kinda like the route the writers are currently going with Chuck. A benevolent entity that was corrupted by his own power to be disillusioned with reality.
This is why I hated what they did with Chuck at the end. All of this good development and it went out the window so he could be the final boss.

All though I feel the show has gone on way to long I will say I love what they did with Lucifer. He started out as the bug bad but over time you begin to realize he's more relatable and more human then most characters. And when you realize he was right about God all along it's sad, it's sad that the big bad of the show turned out to be this tortured hero and the reault of God as a fucked up dad. God failed his most loved child and he is just a monster. I just feel sorry for Lucifer by the last season. He's the result of the worst dad in existence.

Kind of ironic that Lucifer in Sam's body is wearing an all white suit, which white is synonymous to being pure. Also ironic that Dean said that he'll always say no to Michael, but in season 13 he doesnt.

Reading all these sympathy comments for Lucifer and realizing that this show is making a whole swath of people relate more with the devil than with God and wondering if this was the plan all along? 🤔 🤷♂️

Inciner8 Supernatural is a work of fiction created for entertainment.
People relate more to Lucifer because he's flawed and so are humans.
I read this book the Revelations of Lucifer the Divine and how it painted Lucifer changed my whole perspective of him. And to actually see it being kind of played out... How much Lucifer does care is something I really thought I would never see on TV. It honestly warms my heart while at the same time breaking it because of how he just wanted his father's love.
Rick Springfield played Lucifer brilliantly.

In the original translation of the Hebrew bible Lucifer wasn't ever depicted as evil or against god more as a tester of people. He also wasn't the snake in Eden that is something made up to put on a good vs evil storyline. And his actual fall from heaven isn't depicted as something that has happened more so as something that is going to occur.

3:13 Looking back at this and seeing dean say that you can say sorry without really meaning it and with the next scene with god and lucifer and god saying that lucifer was his most prized son and knowing the future seasons you realise that everything he said to lucifer was a compete lie and likely didnt mean any of it.
14:36 - When Lucifer was talking to Dean it was like it hurt him when Dean said that, almost like he was talking to his brother who said something very similar to him.
Lucifer may be evil but it’s not entirely his fault. Especially considering Chuck wanted this all to happen. He wanted to lock Amara away, he wanted the Mark to corrupt Lucifer and he wanted it to corrupt Dean so that they would unleash Amara so that he could come play the hero.

It was cool when Lucifer was in Cass body. Cass was a good Lucifer. Look at how Chuck was here compared to the last season . WTF happened to him!? I don’t understand , why did he become so dark !? Why he turned his back on humanity !? I hated it but maybe the writers were on to something 🤔

I remember when this show was about hunting a supernatural entity that had yellow eyes, later confirmed to be a demon, and to stoping the apocalypse and the rise of Lucifer.

The apology scene was so freaking amazing.
This is an amazing scene, and all the actors are doing incredible work in it... But the ending of the show, and how Chuck was re-written as a bored asshole really spits in the face of the writers and actors who worked so hard to bring this scene to life.
BROO that's crazy, Rob Benedict plays God here but in the show "Lucifer" he plays the guy who almost kills Lucifer and his family!
And God from "Lucifer" plays Cain in Supernatural.

An intelligent conversation and quite enlightening...I am deeply into the Father and so I understand the where Lucifer's frustration comes from.....I have cried and questioned many nights ...and often wonder, whether God actually heard me...then I went to my laptop and some one had place a song called FOR YOU DEAR........I cried, and cried and cried. I know, God hears me.
For me it was "I'll Stand by You" by the Pretenders. I worked at a supermarket once and doing inventory in the stock room, I was feeling really down...and sorry for myself. And then right then that song came up on the store radio and I broke down, it's like that song was meant for me to hear at that moment.
The ending guitar riff at 25:59 to 26:18 is brilliant.

The crazy part, when Dean says 'you better kill me now, or i swear I'll find a way to kill you' and 9 seasons later he fulfills that promise. Kind like how he told Zachariah he'd stab him in the face.
