I used to have an all black mini rex. His name was Maxx. I spent months watching your early videos to prepare for him and built him a huge cage. He was a super sweet and feisty bun and got along well with my dog. A few years after I got him, I lost my job and could no longer afford to feed him. I ended up having to give him to a shelter. After seeing Belle, the grief and failure I felt on the drive home that day came flooding back. I really miss him. :(

OMG I've been watching you since I was eight or nine and you're where I got the information that pursueded my parents to let me get a bunny I thought you quit UA-cam because I couldn't find your channel but I finally found it!
Wow! We need more people like you who give their pets huge homes! Also I was wondering, so I may be getting 2 bunnies, and I had an idea for how to do a cage, I’d like your feedback. I’m going to keep the bunnies in my room and put a playpen fence in front of my bed and behind my bed. In that space the bunnies can free roam and they will have a c&c cage. In the space they can hop freely I’ll put fleece blankets in half of it ( my bedroom floor is soft wood btw.) They will have a litter box in the c&c cage and one is the free roaming area. I’ll put the food and water in the c&c cage (I’m going to put the bunnies in the c&c cage at night.) they will have toys scattered everywhere and hides everywhere. I’d appreciate some feedback! Thanks for reading :)

Omg I'm about to cry, Belle looks like the next life of my rabbit pepper who passed away on the 2nd of July 2017 this year and Belle is her new form, I'm gonna cry.
Such a great rabbit channel...I’ve learned so much from you and your buns. I’m a bunny mama of 3 and “grandmom” to 3 @ 12 days young. Max was recently fixed but just about 4 weeks later Ruby gave birth! 🐇❤️🐇❤️🐇. Converting a cage to a litter box=GREAT IDEA!

How do you keep your rabbits from chewing the fleece and blankets? Whenever I put a fleece in my rabbit's cage he always ends up tearing it to shreds.
Some rabbits will do this then u should avoid giving him fleece
Best way to have them stop shredding fleece is to give them lots and lots of toys. :)
Try putting in toys and other stuff for them to chew on instead like those hay balls.

I have gone to goodwill and store like that and found old bath mates and given those to my two male rabbits and they love messing those up instead:)
I might get a bunny, and I'm thinking of making a big nic cage for him/her, but my family & I are not really the most handy people. Do you know any way that the process of doing the flooring on the higher floors could be easier? Otherwise I'm thinking of using an x-pen cause i don't want to use a regular pet store cage

I remember when you got Sebastian and you said you coudn't have more than 2 bunnies since mocha and lulu are a handful and are expensive, now you have 4-5 bunnies and you just you jinxed it.

BTW, I have 48" pen and it is wobbly... I recommend that you get a shorter one for better stability, unless your rabbit jumps. :)

did you know hay should be stored in the dark !,Cool ,dark ,dry&airy.Also as sweet and neat as the fleeces are ,I wouldn't recommend for all Bunnies,;as ingesting a small amount of polyester,/acrylic could cause a total indigestible blockage leading to a fatality.Granted not all Bunnies would be tempted!I had one Bunny who was so creative, doing what Bunnies do ,burrowing or trying to, she made an incredible residence from cardboard boxes,that had entrances and exits at all angles.She was a proper Houseproud Bunny.She,'d tear a little strip off the cardboard and use it as a duster!Until the whole floor was smooth as silk,then she would pat the duster and debris (odd piece of hay,any loose fur and dinder)into a little pile and push it into the corners,until they were all smooth and rounded, eliminating all sharp angles.Perfect rounded burrow, very desirable residence.Anyway I could hear her scurrying about and assumed she was. Smoothing the floor or dusting,but we found she'd totally chewed and fluffed up the corner of the sofa - to access the corner of the room,in an attempt to burrow through to the adjoining room,,where we/family spent most of our time.The wall didn't stop her,she tried to go under, by shredding up layers of carpet etc.She wanted access to pop into us ,as and when she liked.Bless her and all her hard work.However a few months later she succumbed to a bout of Stasis and we lost our 'little Housekeeper' in her little Black and White uniform.She now lives right in the top room of my heart.I can't help feeling her Tummy had ingested some of the man made fibres and that led to an early death.So Please learn from this Bunnies 🐇🐰 will be bunnies Man made fibres can be lethal.They're amazing homemakers.Hay,cardboard,paper are safe choices.God bless.

So many people have these cool set ups that have no top. I had one for about 2 days and my bunny was like "HAHA BYE" and jumped out. So now he has a smaller cage that I was able to make a top for.

Bunnies aren't big herd animals like genuine pigs and tend to only want to stay in a pair or maybe three. Though it is possible to have a group like this all together their personalities may not allow it. Just like all animals their personality really takes in account on how well they'd get alone with others.
Some animals don't get along as well as others. The more energetic rabbits can stay together, while the elderly or stationary rabbits can live in different pen. Certain personalities and situations compliment each other. I'm sure she spent much time figuring out which bunnies do well together and arranged them so the bunnies are as stress-free as possible:)

Animals Are Life ....or maybe she has those clear plastic outlet covers on them, which we obviously can't see because they're clear. I have them in my house so my little brothers don't play with the outlets and I doubt she would overlook something like that. No need to be so passive aggressive.

Starfell Stories hi! The binky bunny online forum can be very helpful for answering some of your questions! Also I strongly encourage you to find a rabbit savy vet in your area because the actual answer to both questions is bring your rabbits to the vet for treatment. The house rabbit society has a list that you can google. Stress bonding should not cause snuffles but you also should not be putting your rabbits in extremely stressful situations for bonding.

My bunny was in a cage the same size as that tiny purple one up until a few months ago. Then, I added a 2 by 3 ft "run"
And a week or two ago he was moved into a 4 by 4 ft dog pen! He is much happier, and I plan to upgrade soon!

MomandT Meyers oh yes, I see what's wrong. Your rabbit (old or new) might have anxiety (maybe separation anxiety) from their old owners or their mothers, may I ask how old was your rabbit when you got her?
saturn When I got her she was about 7 or 6 months old she is now 2 years old
MomandT Meyers ohhhh yes okay well you can start selling them (weaning) at 8 weeks (2 months) and you got them when they 6/7, that means that they still had 4/5 months left with their parents. At 2 months old, they get sold and don't really remember anything about their mothers, since they had 4/5 months more with their mother, they became attached to the mother even more. So, the likely case is that they have an separation anxiety, I recommend (if you care allowed to) to get another bunny. You can get them checked up.
One question: Do they let anyone else hold them?
MomandT Meyers I would try letting her free in your room with the door closed. Just sit somewhere and ignore her. Do this for maybe 20-45 minutes, then put her back. Keep doing this daily until you can touch her. Then try to pet her. Then hand-feed her. Then try to hold her. Just slowly bring up her comfort level until you two are close!
