Update! Almost two bags of ice fit in the cooler. Today it was 80° in the morning and about 99° in the afternoon. Put the ice in at 5am and here at 4pm I still have about 25% of the cooler full of ice! That's a HUGE improvement over what we would have had without the upgrade!
I just did this mod on my 2024 tracker pro 175 TXW tournament edition and 2 things. Maybe specific to my boat, maybe not. The screws holding the step cover in place are not regular screws. They are square head. Not sure what size but they have heads that require a square bit. The cooler in my boat was riveted on the side, not on the bottom. Easy enough to drill out the rivets. Everything else was perfect. Next I will get better insulation for the opening. The stuff in there is like 1/4” more like 1/8”. Thanks for the instructions. I appreciate it.
Great video. I pick up my '24 Pro Team 175 TXW Tournament Edition this Saturday. (Cabelas gave me a get-it-off-my-lot deal that I couldn't refuse). I already have the Igloo cooler modded and ready to install on Saturday. The video really helped. Thank you.
@ErnestColeFishing I designed up some mounts that go over the contour of the dash. They are a bit of a slip fit where you get things lined up and glue them in that position. Without having a scanned surface to work with, that's the best I could do. So the install process is a little wonky but it works great.

Thanks for the input! Sounds like it's a little different on the new boat

Great upgrade! Enjoy the boat!
I did this in my PT 195 TXW last year. One of the best changes I've made to the boat.
@@douglashoskins8428 for sure!
Imma need to see how you mounted that graph in the console.
There's some magic there with 3D printed parts.
@@goodmanfishingeven better. I also run a 3d print farm. Now I must know.

Nice
Nice upgrade, lmk how it work
So far so good! Two bags of ice held for about 14 hours before it was gone. 100° day in Texas, much better than before!
