Actually, for traditional dishes it is almost a must :D It goes well with meat, and if you heard about "lángos", sour cream+cheese topping is the best. But we like to replace e.g cream (or chantilly-depends on food) with sour cream and so on!

The comment sections were loaded with complaints if any of the eaters ever had anything short of an orgasm after tasting. This is PC culture food tasting now...and humor by nature tends to not be PC. I think this is also why they do such few taste tests now (despite how many views they get), because so many butthurt nationalists get triggered if anyone dislikes their food, and it creates comment section flame wars. So, like most other things in life now, anything short of endless compliments is too aggressive and must be avoided as much as possible...humor loses within that dynamic.

Ha igazán magyarosan akarnának enni, akkor fehér műanyagtányérból (ami elhajlik, ahogy belerakod a cuccot és aztán amíg elérsz a kis kempingasztalhoz, ahol a kiccsaládod ül már végigfolyt a kezeden a forró lé) ennék a gulyást/ marhapörköltet+ főttkrumplit (mondjuk) kólával (szintén műanyagpohárból), előtte legurítanának egy egy pálinkát, azután pedig pogácsát ennének (hozzá meg innák tovább a kólát, mert elég fujtós tud lenni...) . És mindezt nyilván egy olyan fából készült kecskeláb asztalnál tennék, ilyen roskadozó kerti székeken ülve.

What do you know about Guyana, The Gambia, Malawi, St. Lucia, Martinique, Bhutan, Mauritius, Kiribati? I think you make the mistake of thinking "America tends to be white people," so you assume we have some sort of bond, kinship with Europe. We don't. Europe has the same place in our minds as South America, Africa, Asia, Oceania....a distant, disconnected, unrelated people. I'm 100% white and I feel no more connected to Europeans than the darkest people in Zambia, Papua New Guinea etc. When we say we're "Irish", "German", "Polish", "Magyar" we don't invoke Europe with that, they are cultural markers confined to America, and American white ethnic history/agitations. We're our own people, our ethnic markers matter here, not in a global context(as we mean it). Anyone not American is just as far away from us as all other people....Hungary, Sweden, Slovenia, Andorra, Latvia is the same mental distance from us as Haiti, Swaziland, Suriname, Angola, Lesotho as far away as Danzig, Livonia, Belgian Congo, Prussia, Rhodesia. We're not uniquely connected because of common eye shapes and skin tones.
