His mannerisms at 2:50 are so good. The chuckle, his expressions.. he's proud of his apprentice, and she legitimately looks up to him and his wisdom. It is such a great, new dynamic with villains in the SW universe.
At the 2:00 mark, when Baylan talks about the fall of the Jedi Temple, his reminiscing of the past and how it was all inevitable.. you can sense it. Can feel it with how he talks. How sad he is, how tired of all that has happened since. How I think he wishes to be able to go back and stop it all. How the cycles and fall of the Jedi kept occurring (if KOTOR is considered canon, it really fits better with how many times the order was nearly wiped out). I feel for him, since it all is a tragedy, and the constant back and forth between the light and dark sides of the force in the Star Wars universe keeps occurring. In one form or another. Constant suffering, with many caught in the middle..
Disney put so much freakin money into the sequel trilogy. It amazes me that this one scene can be better and more memorable than everything in the sequel trilogy, it’s all about the writing, all we want is good writers, and of course Ray brought Baylan to life
Baylan Skoll has the best medieval THEME in star wars it reminds me alot about count Douku. NO ONE CAN RESIST HIS THEME may Ray Stevenson Rest In Peace!🙏 Such so noble kind of character. I believe that Dave filoni did a great job making a new version of QuiGon a dark jedi take in this ahsoka show
I don't see how they could. It would never be the same. There will have to be a new character. Sadly I don't think Disney is capable. They got it so right this time, it's a miracle. It's just going down hill from here.
"Again, again and again..."
He just explained past, present and the future of entire franchise in one wonderful scene.
I could listen to ray Stevenson talking about the jedi order for hours. Man what a character

3:06 one of the greatest scenes in Star Wars history.

Sad Ray is gone, his contribution to star wars is the best in a long time, rip Ray.
From 2:00 to 4:30 is imo the best piece of dialogue in Star Wars since the OT.

may Ray Stevenson Rest In Peace!🙏

🙏 RIP Sir Ray 😔 a class actor who will be sorely missed ❤ what a star 🌟 May the force be with you legend 🫡
Awesome character, sad Ray has passed, I hope they will recast Baylan. Rip Ray.

I had no idea that 6:32 was so memeable 😂
Man i could have watched an entire series JUST about Baylan and Shin, it’s damn near criminal we won’t get to see that :(
RIP Ray Stevenson :(
Damn he is so legendary . We will always have his scenes from season 1. I hope they find someone half as good as Ray for futute stories.
If Baylan and Shin hadn't slaughtered those New Republic military officers you could be forgiven for mistaking them for the heroes of the story.
6:23 - His acting in this scene was outstanding!
Villain gets more love in one scene than heroes in entire season.
May he rest in peace
I would have loved to see this Ray take the place of Rey during the postlogy ....
3.30 has anyone a idea Whats the name of the theme
Baylan´s Plans by Kevin Kiner.
Thrawn hit it on the head
7:07 wow cant wait What it is ?
the show stunk, but he was the best part and most interesting.
