Watching this a couple times I realize she beat Anakin while also winning the argument between them. He was trying to teach her that she needed to keep fighting to live. That's a very Anakin/Darth Vader way of looking at life. Ahsoka wanted to quit fighting, and ultimately she won not by beating him in a fight (a hopeless task honestly, very few people can beat Vader) but by disarming him and ending the fight. He brought back her will to live, but she taught him that fighting isn't all there is to life.

Disney should have brought back Anakin when they brought back the Emperor. A Luke, Anakin and Ashoka team up would have made the new movies epic beyond words

Im the first to trash a lot of disneys work ahsoka included... however... these scenes between these two hit SO hard, same with baylan skoll. i wish the show itself lived up to even... close to this standard.

I don’t love how Sabine and Ashoka were adapted. Ezra though was excellent.

I love how Chopper immediately could tell it was Ezra. That was a level of trust and happiness that I enjoyed seeing.

To see the sith in his eyes is Wild and then to see him take those steps back like he wishes he could’ve done when he was alive had me fan girling

This scene is interesting because back then as a padawan he tried to prove himself for victory but he was willing to accept defeat to teach his padawan how to survive. He shows that he was able to accept everything around him. Victory and defeat for his development. Obiwan allowed himself to be sacrificed to Anakin(As Vader), Vader allowed himself to be sacrificed for Luke, Luke allowed himself to be sacrificed to Ben Solo, and Ben Solo to Rey!

It took me a while to figure out what Anakin was teaching her. After all this time I think it was to adapt. If you can't adapt you die. The jedi didn't adapt from peace keepers to warriors in the first battle of Geonosis and they died. Anakin coulnd't adapt to loss of loved ones and he died. Obi Wan almost didn't adapt to the fall of the Jedi and he nearly died. etc...

This would have been an amazing movie moment.

Really loved his fighting style difference between him as a Jedi vs his time as Vader. The flashy and fast strikes then moving to his slow but more powerful methodical attacks
