Kanan was just a padawan and it was shown that Ezra talents are much higher than Kanan. Kanan only got stronger when he went blind and Ezra lightsaber skills and force powers arent really on Obi, Anakin or Ahsoka's level due.
Ahsoka is at a knight/master level, Ezra is at a knight level whilst Sabine is at a padawan level. Ahsoka should be the fastest of the 3
@AkiraNasuki but she isn't, she moves really slow. Especially during her fight with Morgan and Anakin.
@trevorvallo5841 problems with animation to live, Ahsoka is actually quite fast given she did duel Maul and she has a habit of being disarmed and disarming and turning her opponents weapons against them.
Another thing to consider is the style used, Obi Wan is a form 3 master, the master of form 3 and it is a pure defensive form that aims to preserve Stamina
Anakin is a master of form 5 which is the more aggressive form.
Ahsoka is also a form 5 practitioner and uses the Djem So form which is dual blades and in the irregular reverse grip style.
If we are comparing speeds then it has been emphasis that Anakin and Obi Wan went all out and since Anakin and Obi Wan knows each other moved they were basically able to predict one another and just push themselves to the utmost limit. Form 3 the pure defense against form 5 which is the aggressive form and as master and apprentice and sparring partners they knew each other's moves and habit.
Also if Ahsoka seem slow against Bylan that's due to her falling into a more traditional Stance in their first encounter in a way she was more or less sizing him up
Also I assume using her lightsaber form irl is also going to be tricky for Rosaria Dawson and the stunt doubles as Ahsoka is a reverse grip style user who had to dual blades.
Also if the sabers are disney Legacy Sabers used as props, the sabers are going to be heavy too, much heavier than the old props used in the original and prequel trilogy
The TV series seems to be pretty cool, but yea if it eventually leads to the sequel trilogy that's going to be depressing lol.

Ezra gets a lightsaber and quickly forgets Force Push. Especially when fighting atop such a high tower, the best tactic to get rid of zombies is to just push them right over the edge and let them pop like water balloons when they hit the ground far below.

Bro, he used it at the start of the Battle. But have to recharge Force. Yoda is an example. He couldn't move normally with his age, he used his stick to balance the energy in it and use the Force only in Battle. As Count Dooku, the Dark Side helped him to be much more faster. You can't use, Force this, Force that. bro, Force Push, Force Lightning, Force Speed at the same time. The Force Users are like a rechargable battery.
@@Trollinus956 - Since when? If that were the case then lightsaber dueling would not be a thing because they have to use the Force continually while doing it, on top of the physical exertion.
@@daniels7907 There has to be a balance. If you are already an "older" living being, you use part of the Force to enhance your body and move with enough agility, clear examples are Dooku, Palpatine and Joda, while if you are younger you still do it, but the effort is less. But in both cases you must wait and reload to use Force powers as shown in Star Wars Fallen Order and Survivor.
Also, live-action series are more "realistic" with movements and powers, so it's harder to concentrate when you have hundreds of blasters pointed at you and fighting on narrow paths.
@@falcongrey8891 - Remember Yoda training Luke on Dagobah? "A Jedi's strength flows *from* the Force". "From", not "to". But then, these people think they need to wave their hands to use their powers. So their expertise maybe have declined over the ages.
Think about it- this is only a decimal of what Thrawn can do and he held off two Jedi and a Mandalorian. The galaxy is in big trouble.
Zombies aren't quite as threatening in a universe where there are things like blasters, turbolasers, proton torpedoes, and most of all battle droids. Indeed, if I were in command of a military facing these Nightroopers, I would handle them the way that General Grievous handled the Nightsisters on Dathomir - overwhelm them with my own unliving (but non-magical) army.

@@jonathancharron7360 - Meh. Sabine can't seem to decide if she's a Jedi or a Mandalorian. She's as likely to reach for her blasters as her lightsaber, and she relies too much on her armor, which makes her tend to not even try to block incoming attacks and instead depend on her amor to tank them.

Why can't Disney get the lightsabers right? Bothers me since Luke in MandoS1. In a blink, the length changes from 15 inches long to a 40 inch lightsaber. I know they have to use shorter stuntsabers for the purpose of not really hitting a stuntman etc, but they HAVE to correct this in postproduction ffs! (no, it's not a lengthchanging lightsaber all of a sudden)
I think your eyes are broken, the only time any lightsaber is 15 inches is when the rest of it is sticking through something else

Ahsoka, like a master, uses her jarkai style with her quickness to block all shots with her two swords while she maintains her position.
Ezra, a trained Jedi but who spent years without a lightsaber, uses her defensive style as she is recovering her talent while she concentrates.
Sabine, newly awakened to the Force but with Mandalorian abilities and partial training, only manages to block a few shots while her armor protects her from most shots.
It's fantastic as they show her skill with the saber in each of the protagonists.

In almost every shot Ezra’s lightsaber looks super short. I was worried they made him have some kind of short sword version but then it’s normal length later. I guess it was just the camera angles.

@@DarkenedEclipse It's not the best he can do. He's been making amazing animated content for years, this was his first attempt at live-action. It wasn't great, but that's going to be obvious since it's his first time. He'll get better as he makes more live-action projects, the Star Wars fanbase needs to stop hating.

Why? Cause they fight so slow? I already edited those fight scenes, picking up the pace, tried to make it looks good. It’s already a shorter and better version. Otherwise it’s quite long duration and had some boring scenes.

Admit it, however you may feel about this show, the choreography and fights were fantastic (minus the one where Sabine got stabbed and was perfectly fine the next episode).

The fact that Ahsoka seriously fought a fucking nightsister instead of Force smashing her to pieces shows just how "strong" Jedi are. Nightsisters are a joke in this canon. A bit less so in the old one, but still nothing super special. In reality, all those enemies could have been simply Force thrown around like rag dolls.
As well as Sabine...being Force sensitive...what?! Like...she fought by Kanan's side for so long, much longer than Ezra, yet Ezra was immediately recognized as a potential Jedi, but not Sabine? How the fuck does that work?
See, this is why I love "Legends" much more. When they wanted to present a serious threat for new Jedi, they showed Dark Jedi squad, a Dark Jedi mass-implanting Force transmitting crystals into his soldiers, a literal ancient Sith Lord cult of Dark Siders, invaders from another Galaxy unaffected by the Force and her laws, a long-hybernated Sith Lord who was to restore the pre-Bane Sith Order, an ancient Dark Side abomination...so much more, in fact, I am just reciting the most popular cases. Nightsisters also were present, but they never posed a serious threat.
Here, we see...Anakin Skywalker's apprentice...struggling with a witch Grievous slaughtered by dozens...like, bruh. Grievous. A fucking cyborg with lightsabers. Not a Jedi. Not a Sith. Not even Force fucking sensitive. Just a tin can with blades. And various kinds of stormtroopers. Who the fuck cares for stormtroopers? Leave those losers alone, they fucking lost to Ewoks.
Italian fan-films "Dark Resurrection", extremely loosely based on "Star Wars", do a far better job depicting the after-Endor era (or so it seems to be...maybe) than "Mandalorian", "Ahsoka", "Book of Boba Fett", and the sequel trilogy. Like ffs...
