Thanks for your support 😊 no I am not adding it since I want to keep things similar to what the SNES title was in some aspects, and also the combo counter does not register hits the way I would like to.

As i said before i think this game its overloaded, that's the part that i dont like, but i must recognize that all these moves looks awesome, its like the dream moves for any fan of double dragon beat' em up game, nice push effect from all attacks and cancels, i admire ur work here.

Overloaded ?? I like it ... You don't think Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat aren't overloaded ? This Ultimate Double Dragon gives them a challenge and Competes against them with their Ultimate Combos . Billy & Jimmy Lee would be able to / can beat Ryu & Ken Masters if he continues to do these Amazing Combos .
@@PaulWalker-uo2nh Streetfighter is a fighting game, this game is a beat' em up game, if u cannot see what the difference is between both is not my faul, im not saying that something is wrong with the moves, they are great, but everygame have limits, if u put more, and more, and more, moves, u will destroy the balance of the game, no matter what, at the end can be result a program for demo combos, more than a beat em up game, im not trying to bother him, i like his work, is just my opinion, i think that he can make 3 different games with all these moves that he are injecting here, and may concetrate in another things, like stages, or another original history, or more diferent enemys or even moves for enemys, this game have too much moves, sinergics, mechanics, and systems, its overloaded, is just my opinion.
@@Ner0-Angel0 ... I understand what you are saying , but you do realize that most beat em up games are turning into just fighting games or taking the characters from the beat em up games and bringing them into Street Fighting games .
- For Example : Cody , Guy , & Hagger from Final Fight ... I respect what you are saying , but I like seeing something a little different in the beat em up games that's we're not used to seeing . This is refreshing to watch & experience . Again , I do understand what you are saying as well , I just enjoy this more because mainly 98% Of the Double Dragon games or Fan games are Exactly the same .
- I do like Jeff's taunting & Jimmy's cracking his knuckles when he knows that he's about to do some serious damage . This is something that I would love to see in future Double Dragon beat em up games no matter if it's a fan game or not .

Good to see this is still getting updated but I think I’ll stick with LOTDD. It’s just a little bit more straightforward than Ultimate. This version has A LOT going on but it’s cool

I like to see Everyone's Opinions : On Who has the best Ultimate / Ultra Combos out of the 6 players in Order ?? To me ,
1) Jimmy , 2) Ranzou , 3) Tie between Chin & Jeff 4) Sonny , 5) Billy
The biggest drawback of the new character is the added power. Can do like the protagonists point SS1 or SS2 plus energy can be good, the operation is not friendly to the mobile phone party

Sorry for making too many SHOTOCLONES, the game is FREE after all so I had to do all BY MYSELF and sprite edit FOR YEARS to get some variety between playable characters with MORE THAN 40 DIFFERENT CHAIN ATTACKS EACH. Well, you can't please everyone I GUESS 🤷🏻♂️
@@mauherrera8939 Don't worry. The game is very good as it is. and I know how long it can be to sprite some character from scratch, trust me. This is just that from my point of view it can be a good move to put diversity of archetypes and designs. Nothing else. I really understand how hard it is and how long it is. So, don't worry. I'm ok with that and we all are ok with how the game is right now I think. No really need of actual new characters.
I am having issues binding controls for separate players (I am using ps4 controllers plugged into my pc via usb) whenever I setup player 1 it works fine, but setting up player 2 causes player 1 inputs to change. This leads to both characters being controlled with a single controller (not 2 separate controllers). Does anyone know how I can fix this?
There is an alternate solution which is using Joy2Key. I think the only pads working well are the x360 ones.

Hey, so I downloaded version 0.850 with Chin and Ranzou, I’m playing it on my Classic SNES. However, when I get to Mission 4, fighting on top of the moving truck, the game begins to slow down severely, and then it just automatically resets after beating Jeff, it doesn’t move on to the next stage/ level. Why is that?
Probably it has to be about that Classic SNES OpenBOR version you are using.

My demo keeps crashing after I beat Abobo in the first section of the airport.
Please redownload the demo, it has a few fixes and new moves for the OG Dragon as well!

(I'm kidding. I understand perfectly well that you have already done a very great job, and that it is sooooo difficult to stuff everything into the game at once and it takes a lot of time. These are just my wishes, and I am already grateful to you that you give us this masterpiece to play for free.)
Interesting seeing Chin and Ranzou. I think I mentioned it before, but you should consider creating new stages; not just alternate routes in Duke's palace. Something like in Double Dragon 3. A recreation of the China, Japan, Italy and Egypt stages would be interesting. Something like what we saw in the flashbacks at the end of the game. If you don't want to repeat the same countries, you could add new ones. You just have to think of a story that would justify going through those countries. This gives you more variety in the game. Also, for the Chinatown stage, you should use the same track as in the original Super Double Dragon. That was my favorite stage because of the music. It's a very memorable version of the piece. Since you are constantly expanding the game, the new stages would be very interesting. When I saw the flashbacks, I liked seeing the updated version of the mummies in Egypt. What would it be like to fight ninjas and mummies in this version of Double Dragon? You could add new arab enemies for Egypt or another arabic country and give them Arakh swords. Anyway, just wanted to pitch some ideas for you to consider.
This game will get extra stages here and there, this is just a Demo. This game will also have Arcade modes with both US and JP osts available so wait for those.
Can Billy and Jimmy do the killer instinct subsystem?

@@mauherrera8939 Thanks I figured it out. Is it possible to chance into a different style quicker? Like Billy Super Style PPPP dash P then stance cancel to D2 style and do d2 moves right away?
Would be cool if we could use moves from different styles in one combo.
@@xDragonInstallx currently all characters are finalized the way they are in the Demo. I can't go back to them because I need to work on the rest of the game heh. Besides, that's a feature that one of the extra characters Sonny has, is a unique feature of him since hi is kind of a 'prize' character.
Look for Ultimate Double Dragon Combo videos on YT, there are plenty already!
@@xDragonInstallx btw are you playing LOTDD or UDD? In UDD you can access the movelist on the fly by pressing and holding the block button, and then imput up up dwn dwn. All different styles has their own movelist with their own subsystems if the characters have more than 1, and in UDD there are even more attack chains than in LOTDD, like, the triple or even more.

I think I found an infinite for Billy D1-3 Style. You dash PPP stop then PP walk a bit back and Dash PPP repeat.

You have made a real VERSUS FIGHTING engine for OpenBOR, maybe in the future when this game will be released, it can be a good idea to work on this point :)
MUGEN works only on PC, OpenBOR works every where, Switsh ans PS4 too !!!! Android !!!!

This was a shit take
My only complaints about LOTDD was the enemies took way too many hits to kill (no option to change or lower thier health), also there is no save function (Without a save option gameplay became extremely tiresome).
Also I dont think the game should have vulgar language (f-bombs etc), it really cheapens the game imo. You put all this incredible effort into the graphics and gameplay, but then ruin the style of the game by giving it a script that could have been written by an angry 12 year old?...Please consider this. Otherwise keep up the great work! 👍

Special moves are OPTIONAL.
It's weird the both of them don't have any throw,grapples,takedowns or contact moves that redirect their enemies and their attack to air or ground. There should be an improvement on that. They are grandmaster in their own martial they use
There should be not, they are not suppoused to grab enemies like in the NES games, and they DO have grapples, you should try the game and see their movelist.
