Been a while since I've commented on any of your videos but that doesn't mean I haven't been watching. When Top Hat Gaming "Big Daddy Top-Hat" as he says lol was doing reviews on fan-made Double Dragon games I said to myself, I sure hope he does a review on Q's and that day had finally come. Despite my opinion (and what others may have thought of it when I said it to you), I'm still proud and happy for all the things you have done to this game bro.

I've played Legend and love it to death. I am playing the Ultimate Demo right now and trying hard to get used to the (Super Double Dragon Style) - Killer Instinct Hyper Subsystem Combos. A lot of inputs and crazy tiny time windows to transition to the next chain of the combo. To be honest, I prefer Legend's 360 Degree motion axis and simply input the right punches and kicks. In Ultimate, I go crazy and throw so many "Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left" at the time window and pray it registers! I can handle the Sonic Blast Man and WWF subsystems well, but that Killer Instinct subsystem is a son of a gun!
The KI subsystem present in UDD is like KI for babies, trust me, original KI has even more complex imputs lol. Practice makes perfect, try in training mode to do imputs one at a time and you will get them eventually!

I absolutely love this game, but haven't been able to do any of the ultra combos. I don't know the timing i guess.

this game sure changed a lot
PSA for anyone having issues with 2 players and controllers. Using 8bitdo SN30 controllers work with no problem. I think this game goes haywire when it sees analog sticks. The SN30 in D input mode has no sticks and it recognizes them with no problem. Thought I'd let people know. So try any controllers without xinput and analog sticks and it may work just fine.

I absolutely love this game so far! Question for you, do you do the 360° motion and Style Switch One to specifically do co-op supers? Me and my buddy have been trying to figure it out in training mode but we don’t know how to get Jimmy to do that backflip kick launcher!
Ah yes, the co op supers: the one who starts should use SS2 and the one who supports should always use SS1 😉
I thought you were gonna get rid of the super large hit effects on the KI combo's? I'm baffled why they need to be that big....
LOTDD is done, now I am working on Ultimate Double Dragon, get with the times and enjoy the thing as it is.

Duuuude i much preffered this style of ultra combo!!!!!!!! Starting it with the 360 on my arcade stick was so much mooooooore fun!!!! Honestly think you should keep it the new style is a little too simple fun too but compared to this?? This was more fun bro imo still play this today!!! How r u man?
Hey sup! I thought keeping the imputs similar in UDD but at the same time, I wanted people that never experienced doing a full KI combo to be able to and feel the satisfaction of doing Ultra combos.

Witch reminds me that new demo still dosent let you knock it down and use it as a throwing weapon it maybe you forgot i tried it and i can only hit it once or twice before it knocks me down lol bro but how come you show this video today!!?? Dont tell me you plan on returning to this masterpiece and improving it in anyway? Like perhaps adding more moves like in ultimate but maybe adding more complex inputs like down up punch or DP for tripple uppercut or for half circle back kick for jagos flying kick that would be sick nahhh i know youre busy with your other master piece im just a fan of your work bro wish i knew and had the skills to do what youre doing here thanks for keeping us entertaind during these hard times bro YOURE A LEGEND keep up the good work

hey man I love this game. It's fantastic. I'm having a hard time getting two controller to work. When I plug more than 1 controller in, the controls go haywire and one controller will control both characters. I've tried mixes of controllers form Xbox One to Series, to Switch to PS4. Any tips?
Try using Joy2Key in PC and do not enable controllers, just remap keyboard keys into your pads and that will solve everything. Pretty cool you are having a blast :) please also check Ultimate Double Dragon demo, the sequel of LOTDD hehe.

It is still being worked on, of course, but as I being the only dude creating these both games UDD and Fight Forever, I need a pause sometimes to avoid burning out my mind for creativity. Hope that answer your question...

Hello, I have a problem and it is that the game does not recognize the controller that I connect to the PC :(
Try downloading Joy2Key and map your keyboard to it! It is the best way to play both LOTDD and UDD!
