A lot of people commenting on the annoying “clock.” It’s the electric fence unit, not a clock. We were on a farm so not much I can do. Apologies for that. Other than that, let me know how you liked the video and if I should keep deliciously invasive series going ✌️

Please don't hesitate about any more hunting videos. I have watched a long time and I have wanted to make a channel like yours for even longer. This hunting video was perfect because you kept it pretty mild compared to what hunting really consists of, like removing the innards for example. You perfectly kept the majority of it PG and educational as well. I also never thought of the ribs as being edible right off the bone like that, I always heard that meat on the bone was the most gamiest part of the meat besides the fat. This makes me even more excited to try and go back out and hunt pigs again. But yea, my goal is to create a channel like this sponsoring hunting and fishing. Please continue doing things like this, just watching your content helps keep my dream alive.
I always hear the same. A friend's family would just let the dogs have the ribs off deer when hunting. I coorced he into saving me a few racks, and let me tell you, ribs in a BBQ + Yoghurt marinade slow cooked and finished off the grill is to die for.
I remember as a boy, we used to do pig roasts on special occasions. It was always such a great experience to learn about it and to help my grandparents with the feast. It's very important to know where meat comes from and how it's prepared and that it doesn't just "magically" appear in grocery stores. Shout out from a Hungarian dude! :D Love the content.
hunting invasive species is an integral part of maintaining new Zealand's unique ecosystem, huge props to toby for being as humane as you can be while doing it.
Love it bro, please don't be afraid to post what you want. As someone who has never been hunting but enjoys eating lol 😆, I am 100% behind these videos, it seems like you really take the time to educate yourself about the area, and make the best decision with the content you put out. Keep it coming. I very much enjoy your channel 💕
Excellent! We hunted wild pigs on the Big Island of Hawaii when I was stationed they (US ARMY). The Hawaiian DNR opened up the hunt to an Unlimited number of Pigs because they were overrunning the island and breading way too fast. We took 23 pigs in a weekend. Very good eating!
From all the outdoor cooking on youtube, you are the best cook. It looks like you never made any wild pig before, and made an awsome meal right away. That's professional. Good job.
Well done Taku! As always you brought the goods. This was entertaining and very educational. People need to learn and appreciate where their food comes from. Keep up the great work!
Great video, glad to see you branching out into the realm of hunting. Hope to see you tackle more game. Quick suggestion, you did great on breaking down the pig, when using hatchet or cleaver a neat trick I picked up from watching Jesse Griffiths on meateater is to place your blade where you want then use a rubber mallet to cut through the bone, joint, or flesh. Makes for less hacking and less potential meat damage. Keep up the great work. Always look forward to your videos and will be awaiting your cook book when its available. Have a great day Taku.
Long time subscriber here, a couple years ago I had asked for a catch and cook in hunting and I am juiced that there’s finally one in the channel! I hope to see more, maybe rabbit or something. 🍻
Appreciate your energy and humbleness. You're truly an amazing fisherman, 'hunter' if you want the title, and an absolute expert with seafood in general. Love watching your journeys and watching you work. Truly inspirational. Thank you for being you and your partner for all things that can emphasize this beautiful way of living. It's raw but it's so nice to see.
Hands down my favorite vid you have made!!!! I loved this and learned so much, never cleaned a pig before. They all look simular though, deer, cows etc. Just break down the muscle groups! Thank you man, this was a fun one.
Wow, you are just a natural. You just watch once and you skinned the second pig yourself. Awesome cooking and those crispy pork ribs full of flavours. Excellent episode, fishing coupled with hunting makes fabulous viewing, thankyou
Hey Taku!…found your channel due to Brian from “Diehard Fishing”…great content, love your family life story , bittersweet. Just made the pork rib marinade recipe from the wild pig harvest/process vid,…best pork ribs ever! Keep it up Taku! Continue with your nose into the wind and follow your dreams brother…oh and say hi and props to beautiful Jocelyn for putting up with your antics…all the best, cheers!
Absolutely have loved seeing your journey from sushi chef to angler to forager and now getting into hunting. You've got to try beaver trapping! There's so many food applications for beaver. Also, deer hunting if you haven't tried that. Super rewarding
You said that this was your first hunting video. I remember you had a Deliciously Invasive where you hunted Iguanas. It's definitely a change in pace and a refresher from the usual fish stuff imo.
Great Video!! You are quite skilled with a knife! Nice job on the skinning and processing of the hog! And those ribs looked delicious! 😋 😋 But you didn't have to go all the way to New Zealand to find hogs. We have plenty here! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻
@@imcaptain2137As a huge fan of both, I think I have to agree, Rob has crazy chaotic energy and charisma, both like to teach and share their love of fishing and food, Taku shows how to take your time, savor the process and the art behind the simple things like fishing, cleaning/processing fish, and his meticulous cooking and presentation.
