A lot of people commenting on the annoying “clock.” It’s the electric fence unit, not a clock. We were on a farm so not much I can do. Apologies for that.
Other than that, let me know how you liked the video and if I should keep deliciously invasive series going ✌️

Please don't hesitate about any more hunting videos. I have watched a long time and I have wanted to make a channel like yours for even longer. This hunting video was perfect because you kept it pretty mild compared to what hunting really consists of, like removing the innards for example. You perfectly kept the majority of it PG and educational as well. I also never thought of the ribs as being edible right off the bone like that, I always heard that meat on the bone was the most gamiest part of the meat besides the fat. This makes me even more excited to try and go back out and hunt pigs again. But yea, my goal is to create a channel like this sponsoring hunting and fishing. Please continue doing things like this, just watching your content helps keep my dream alive.

I always hear the same. A friend's family would just let the dogs have the ribs off deer when hunting. I coorced he into saving me a few racks, and let me tell you, ribs in a BBQ + Yoghurt marinade slow cooked and finished off the grill is to die for.

I remember as a boy, we used to do pig roasts on special occasions. It was always such a great experience to learn about it and to help my grandparents with the feast. It's very important to know where meat comes from and how it's prepared and that it doesn't just "magically" appear in grocery stores. Shout out from a Hungarian dude! :D Love the content.

@@imcaptain2137As a huge fan of both, I think I have to agree, Rob has crazy chaotic energy and charisma, both like to teach and share their love of fishing and food, Taku shows how to take your time, savor the process and the art behind the simple things like fishing, cleaning/processing fish, and his meticulous cooking and presentation. That said, even though their styles are quite different, it would be wholesome as hell, as Rob is one of the most caring and loving human beings alive, and Taku is the king of being chill in any situation.
Rob could seriously elevate his cooking game spending a few days with Taku.

🌴 Taku Tuesday and a surprise, no fishing but your on a hunt ! How crazy is that , all thru the south and Florida and Texas wild pig hunting is a big thing , to many of um , skinning them is the easy way out usually it’s hot water and scraping the hair off , that way you can get crunchy pig skin , it would be real interesting to see you get into hunting with gun or bow or cross bow , back home in California it might be a bit of a problem, but that pork looked yummy , this was a new adventure it was “ Tasty” ! 🤣👍🏼

Great video, glad to see you branching out into the realm of hunting. Hope to see you tackle more game. Quick suggestion, you did great on breaking down the pig, when using hatchet or cleaver a neat trick I picked up from watching Jesse Griffiths on meateater is to place your blade where you want then use a rubber mallet to cut through the bone, joint, or flesh. Makes for less hacking and less potential meat damage. Keep up the great work. Always look forward to your videos and will be awaiting your cook book when its available. Have a great day Taku.

I fell in love with my "Penny".... named because she had a gunshot wound to her eye and it was probably embedded in there. She was raised to a healthy 180lbs and was so lovable. Now I see pigs standing 10 yards from me ready to be thrown into the smoker... but i end up feeding them and making them pets LOLOLOL.

Excellent variation from the routine. You broke down that pig in about an hour? Exceptional. NZ is magical and your host at the farm is typical of their attitude. Take note of that suppressor; it's considered very poor form to shoot and disturb your neighbors when you can be quiet and still remove the invasive.

So informative and really fun to watch you dive deep into sustainable protein other than fish!

So you can just survive off these wild pigs alone here no need to buy any meat. Would love to see the pig cook in a spif on an open wood fire.

The best part of those wild pigs are the skin. Burn the skin and bbq then with fat and meat attach!
