Yes More SCCY Please! Like paper plates, Water jugs, Paper and whatever else you have up your sleeve. Those would be great to compare .380ACP vs. 9mm. My E.D.C. is the CPX-2 for almost two years and I love it. The key it and other firearms is practice and of course read the manual and only use brass casing ammo as SCCY tells you.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Rocky Matthias thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Defense formula in most cases is : 3 feet, 3 shots, in 3 seconds. Sights on a defense weapon carried by the average citizen are for bragging rights while plinking. If you are using sights in a situation of force I will have to say this is an offensive posture. If you have time to aim, you have time to retreat and withdraw yourself from a threat. Unless of course, you are authorized by, or are law enforcement. That being said, SCCY is a great choice. I have a CPX 2 and never leave home without it. With SCCY you have the very best customer service ever by a firearms manufacturer. I've run over a thousand rounds in mine, and it takes it like a champ. I had first acquired it second hand in poor condition, actually broken, and took it hand delivered to the factory and 45 minutes later had a perfect firearm. Get one...hell get two, their small.
My EDC is the CPX-2 and I absolutely love mine. Things I dig: They are made in Florida, 🇺🇸 They have a LIFETIME warranty even when purchased USED! No tools required other than 1 round or spent casing to breakdown for cleaning. Come with TWO mags. 9mm mags will actually hold 11 rounds so you can carry 12 shots (I’ve put a few hundred rounds through mine with no failures so far springs seem to work fine still) They can be found on sale for $200!!! Highly recommend it’s absolutely best bang for your buck. 😉👌🏻
Yep, good shooting. I hit a 20 ounce pop bottle from 10 yards on the 1st shot out of the box with my new CPX 2. Trigger discipline on that long pull is all it takes. Thanks.
Yes, another fun video. I would be interested in a comparison from you between the Taurus Spectrum and the SCCY .CPX-3. Both being small budget .380 pocket guns made in America.
Due to your reviews, I ordered both. Got the cpx-3 today. Put 200 rounds through it with no problems using 3 kinds of ammo. Nice gun. Loading the magazines is the only downside, springs are really stiff. Keep up the good videos. Looking forward to my cpx-2 next week.
Thanks for your good review and demonstration of these SCCY pistols WTW. I've had the CPX-3 since right after it was put on the market. The good sights makes it easier to hold the longer double-action trigger. You did great with the CPX-3.
Well done! Maybe there is something to the new CPX-3 Lockup system. I've had the CPX-3 for about a month and love my SCCY. Nice to have 3, 10 round mags. It's a great carry pistol.
I like your presentation and narration style, together with the good videography and sound. You clearly demonstrated the calibre that worked best for you and explained why that was. The CPX-3 represents about the best value, quality made, concealed carry handgun that is made in the US, and the lifetime warranty is unbeatable. Subscribed.
Helps to stage the trigger when target shooting. Used a CPX-2 for my CCW class. I felt safe drawing from an appendix holster and reholstering because it is DAO. Rather have a long trigger pull than a hole in my leg.
I used to ride my motorcycle in NSB! I loved it there, until I lost my leg after being hit by a drunk driver right befor LPGA on 95, o well I keep it watered it may grow back haha
I bought CPX-2 a couple years ago for my oldest daughter when she was attending college half across the country from me in Arkansas, GO HOGS!!! The easiest way I found to teach her to shoot it effectively was to pull out a couple of my revolvers. With the long heavy-ish trigger they shoot most like a revolver with a semi-auto frame and slide. After she put a box of .38 through my Ruger SP 101 4". She took another spin with her CPX and did great. If people take the pistol for what it is they may not complain about the trigger. It's not a PPQ... Wasn't meant to be. Fun little pistols to shoot. Nice Brother!

These guns are made more for up close and personal. Or bad breath range. Shooting 20 yards is alright to shoot because the more you shoot the better the hits. But I would limit most to 7yards to a few feet. And I want more shots into the body more then a tight group. Leave tight groups to bullseye shooting .

I've used my CPX-2 at two different defensive carry classes with no issues and no malfunctions using Federal 124 grain FMJ rounds. Good enough for torso target shots, but not so great for smaller metal swinging target trees.
I love my SCCY 9mm. I only ever had one problem with it, besides usual malfunctions every pistol has. It was chucking brass directly back and up and It hit me in the face a couple times. It started doing that after 250-300 rounds and after I cleaned it, it hasn’t done it since.
With the people that say they can't hit anything with the cpx-2 needs to get in touch with Sccy and have the barrel replaced, I had issues with mine causing the rounds to come out wild so at 10 yards I had a 5ft cluster, the barrel was machined wrong and had defects at the chamber so after the replacement barrel I got as good if not better accuracy what was shown in the video.

I sure would like to try out that 380! Thank You Sir!!
@timmybmn I love pocket guns, used to carry a model 85 Taurus hammerless 38 now I pocket a Ruger LC9. Long hard triggers especially the Ruger and being Ruger it's got the triple saftey. Locks the trigger, hammer and slide but then the way the trigger is you would have to work hard to get it to go off unintentionally. That's the big complaint about those guns but that is why I like them. I can't ever find a holster I like in my price range.
Might not be a Glock or a CZ, but if you don't want to spend much money & you're willing to learn the trigger, it's a good option for a budget 9mm or .380.
I love my CPX-2 and taking my time I can shoot like you. That said though the bad guy is not going to stand still while you take up 3 seconds to get 1 round off.
I am curious what ammo you have used in the SCCY CPX-3, and if there was any that it had problems with as many 380 pistols are particular about the ammo you use. Did you have any problems with it right out of the box before it got "broken in"? Is the trigger pull any lighter in the 380 versus the 9 mm? With this in an appendix carry and one in the hole, do you fell confident that it isn't going to go off at an inopportune time?
In Brazil the .380 is most popular pistol caliber, before 2019 calibers with energy greater than .380 / 38 special were prohibited for citizen, after decree of the president Bolsonaro the citizen can buy 9mm, .40sw, 45acp and 44mag for pistols
Big reason why there's so many great .380 pistols coming out of South and Central America. It's pretty much all they could get their hands on. They had to work.
@@devildog3246 we have only Taurus, and Imbel making pistols for citizens, beforer Bolsonaro only sport shooters can buy imported Guns and nothing can use for defense, now we can buy glocks, CZ, S&W and etc for home defense.
I've shot both. I know anyone here knows a .380 Auto is a 9mm 'kurz' or short. This seems like a good round for personal protection especially for the ladies who might be afraid of a bigger caliber, and these easily hidden in her purse. Every women should get one of these for PP. Nothing better than a rapist suffering from lead poisoning...
Men who would attack a woman like that deserve to have a little hot lead 'encouragement' to not do such things. I'd say, if shooting from the purse, the hammerless revolvers in 380 or 9mm might be better since fewer parts to get snagged on the material. But in any case, better to be armed than not.
hmm... i see your slide on the cpx-3 is holding open after the last round. just took my sccy 380 this last weekend and i noticed the slide wasn't holding open after the last round.
@@WHOTEEWHO i love the sccy 380 , no ftf, or any other problems. probably going to sell my bp380 , just wish the trigger on the sccy was more like the bp380 or the bp380 has a tilted barrel way to snappy for me.
I'd like to see you shoot 3 or 4 rounds like you were eliminating a threat with the 380, my s&w body gaurd is about to go into retirement, and I'm looking for a good pocket pistol
I don't know that I'd call the CPX3 a true pocket pistol...it's a little bigger/thicker than the Bodyguard. However it is an EXTREMELY nice pistol to shoot! The recoil is very low. The grip is comfortable as heck! It's one of the nicest 380's I've ever shot...including my friends guns, and I own 5 380's myself. If you're still thinking about getting one, I think you'll be blown away. Also there about $200.
Great video Who - Tee!!! I love these lil "Skittles" guns... The only real gripe I have about them is that super heavy 10# trigger.. Other than that great gun for the budget minded or new shooter.. Great work man, keep shootin'!!!!
interesting video. the cpx3 seems like a decent pistol. dont think i'll trade out my G42. i'm switching to carrying that for the summer as my office is polo shirt, so can't OC my G27. the only reason i got a 380 is my prior S&W bodyguard, sold it and got a glock as i had the reloading tools. the glock i always expect a 7 yard group of 1/2 inch. maybe you should try one, heavy metal may have one laying around.
You're a lot better shot than u admitting WTW -- that some great shooting at both 30' and 60' -- Not a lot of diff in the 2 pistols . both very good conceals. If i were to have to choose, I'd take the .380 ... but wouldn't be hurt too bad taking the 9mm. Rock on brother and thanks.

@@WHOTEEWHO i love the sccy 380 , no ftf, or any other problems. probably going to sell my bp380 , just wish the trigger on the sccy was more like the bp380 or the bp380 has a tilted barrel way to snappy for me.
Whoteewhooo
I have the red dot SCCY CPX-3 9mm great gun
USA all the way
Great video Who - Tee!!!
I love these lil "Skittles" guns...
The only real gripe I have about them is that super heavy 10# trigger.. Other than that great gun for the budget minded or new shooter.. Great work man, keep shootin'!!!!
Hey brother they’re all fun videos brother.
Always a fun time. Watch out those anti gunners flying over spying on you. Thank you very much. You and your family have a blessed night!!!
Nothing wrong with that accuracy! Your definatly a good shooter too, seems like your getting better all the time.
thanks Sgt Armor! I get lucky sometimes
@@WHOTEEWHO naw, that ain't luck, I been watching your videos a while now, you're getting better, just don't let it go to your head 😎😁
Love my CPX-2 !
I love em too!
Can you put the cpx-2 slide on the cpx 3 grip module
Hmm. Not sure
interesting video. the cpx3 seems like a decent pistol. dont think i'll trade out my G42. i'm switching to carrying that for the summer as my office is polo shirt, so can't OC my G27. the only reason i got a 380 is my prior S&W bodyguard, sold it and got a glock as i had the reloading tools. the glock i always expect a 7 yard group of 1/2 inch. maybe you should try one, heavy metal may have one laying around.
I'm not a glock guy....simply because of the fact that everyone gas one and I like to be different
@@WHOTEEWHO thats an exaggeration, i think there are 2 people somewhere that dont own a glock. :-)
😁😁😁
They do make a trigger kit for SCCYs..
There sights dot start to. Remove after some time
Your grouping is good.
Ehhhh!😂 love the video I have the cpx 2 and I love it long trigger reset doesn't bother me!
I like them. Thanks for watching!
Can they both be uses in the same holster?
Hmm. Not sure
I had a couple of cpx2s very reliable and accurate.. I didn't like the edges on the trigger.. if sccy would round those more it would be the cats meow
Very impressive shooting @ 20 yards! with both pistols!........yep, gonna get one.... contest Sccy Vs Honor Guard
good idea! just got some new sights in for the honor guard
i love your channel and can you do a video on the Taurus g2c vs sccy cpx 2 please thank you
good idea
@@WHOTEEWHO please do that video please i am torn between the two which one would you choose sir Taurus g2c or the sccy cpx 2 sir ?
@@anthonylee3415 I'd pick one of each :) I'd recommend you put them both in your hand and see what fits you best
