Sorry guys,i forgot that i reacted to this.I rarely make mistakes like this. Its not Geoff's fault. He gave me options and i chose America cos i liked them.
This is one of their most beautiful, soft love songs. So soothing, vocally and that piano!!!! Funny, although different melody all together, the theme and concept are very similar to another song I love, and that is Aubrey by Bread. So Aubrey vs Daisy Jane.....hard to decide which one is better. Both are so dadgum beautiful....❤❤❤
There’s no “fault” IMO, but I do personally think that people requesting (or suggesting) songs could check whether you have reacted to it already. It’s no big deal anyway.
No problem (for me) with your reacting to this one twice. It's one of my very favorite songs by America. Such a touching love song. Another terrific song by them is "Three Roses" from their debut album.
Thank you sir for playing that. There are songs that simply disappear from your memory and I think it's been a generation since I've heard that song. It's just as wonderful now as it was in my youth.
One of my favorites by this incredibly talented group! Great songwriting/harmonies/musicianship. I think I read somewhere that they were produced by George Martin of The Beatles fame… One of my favorite bands of the 70s 🎶✌🏼
Underrated? Hardly! I think the using the word "underrated" in You Tube comments is so cliche! America is anything but underrated! They are one of the great American bands of the 70's and of that era of music.
@@pncombies No, not underrated to you, and i lol Where subsequent generations are familiar with other artists from the 70s such as Fleetwood Mac, Queen, The Eagles, or Pink Floyd, bands like America, or Bread fly much father under the radar. So underrated in that sense 😉
After the lackluster reception of their third album, America enlisted the services of Beatles producer George Martin and engineer Geoff Emerick. "Daisy Jane" was one of a string of hits Martin produced with them. George plays piano on this track, written by Gerry Beckley (who Martin always mentionned as the most talented member of the group). And one of the few pop hits with a cello solo (Harry Chapin says hold my beer). Thanks Jeff & Harri.
Great Reaction and recommendation ❣️ Goosebumps for me after all these yrs and wearing the album out😊 I always thought Daisy was to blame for the clouds clearing and the sun coming out... 💞💞💞
One of my favorite bands in my high school years. Played their cassette till the tape broke and then bought it again! “Woman tonight” was my favorite song! Great song great bass!

This song is so good that it deserves two reactions.
No problem. You could react daily to this fabulous tune Handsome Harri, the melody, the harmonies, the strings 🎻🎻🎻❤️❤️
From ''Hearts''(1975).

I have always loved this song, and the band America. They clicked with me more than the Eagles.
