Showing the fails and the problems and how to fix them is one of the reasons why I recommend you more than any other resiner I watch! That and also because you're easy to follow and talk people through all your steps and your thinking, but in a very entertaining and friendly manner. You're the whole package when it comes to learning, and this means I feel comfortable knowing others can learn as easily as I have, even without pouring a single drop of resin!
After all that work, I'm so glad it turned out so nicely for you!
Absolutely loved watching this video I was cheering you on especially when you said “The Struggle was real”. As saying I always say lol.
If you were to watch one of my early sculptures I left all my bloopers and I got into a sticky mess. I still giggle when I watch it back.
Thank you so much for the shout out. Jules and Sue are also amazing Resin artists like you. I have looked up to you and your art for many years.
Hot tip for you, have some pre cut tape for the sculpting on the side of a cupboard / box or board. It removes some stickyness for you and they all ready to use hassle free. I can recycle my tape up to 3 times ❤️
Love your end result and the free form of it. Those are my favourite Resin Sculptures. When you relax into it that’s when you get lost in the design even more.
Just love the whole thing, amazing and elegant.
WOW, this is absolutely beautiful Julie, thank uou for sharing your creativity with us👏💕
Suggestion: wrap a lamp shade in plastic and use it to help mold your bowls. Curious to see if it works. 😊
Stunning Patients Always Pays Off😍
The material and bling you worked with came together beautifully. You are the poster woman for persistence paying of in the end. Thanks for sharing your process. 🎃💫🎃
Oh bling wrap , love that stuff ❤
Oh my gosh, that looked sooo stressful, but it came out amazing! It’s beautiful! I love that you show the struggles with the beauty - you keep it real. Thank you for sharing your art❤️.
Looks fabulous.
🎉It was so pretty and when you took it outside it's Gorgeous!!😊
Very beautiful. Lots of fun to watch.
You are a great teacher. What lovely sounding birds when you’re filming outside. 🦅
Goodness. It looks really good. Amazing. 👏👏👏 Definitely a lot of work, but well worth the effort ❤
“Those girls on UA-cam make it seem so easy!” That’s what I say when I try to do one of your paintings. But each time it does get a bit easier. Love it Julie! So unique and sparkly. 💜
i realize I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online?
Your videos are so informative. This is gorgeous. Oh my the finished results are stunning.
How beautiful, Julie!
Beautiful! I have never seen anyone so brave!
I’d love to check out the instigator of this technique. Could you share the name?
Thanks.✌️👍
I love it plus my favourite choccies xx
That's very clever I love that look
Looks pretty. I do like a lot of your later pieces like this, but mostly because you learned so much about shaping that you can feel how much more fluid and not-awkward they were to create!
This is very helpful to know though. I'll make sure I get good at some basic skills before I go and start trying this technique out. There are many things dependent on working with the resin while still moldable, but without the complications of trying to form it like that. Thanks!
I just realized that it is possible to not breathe for a long time! Phew. So pretty and delicate.:-)
Beautiful piece and I love hearing the birds.
Gorgeous....pain in the....but gorgeous. Nice work Julie
Hi cridite where it's where it's where it's due you don't give up and it will be great with some nice colour sweetie in it thanks from Annie in Scotland UK 😁
I’ve been wanting to ask you what or who has inspired you to be artful? Like for me my mother always did crafts with my sister and I when we were young and it has led to us being crafty people. So what or who has inspired you to become who you are today being crafty and or being the great artist we see you today. Love this piece! Your ideas are so unique. Thank you Julie!
I absolutely love it, I will try this technique 👌 Thank you so much.
Lot of work its lovely
So beautiful.
Had to laugh. No fruit but heaps of Ferraro Rocher's. I know what would have disappeared first at my house. Great job, very artistic
Very pretty! Looked grayish in the studio but outside clear. Love it!
Beautiful ❤
It came out soo beautiful. I love it and too think you are soo brave. I have been binge watching your videos and you make me laugh and make me not feel so crazy because I talk to my projects all the time 😄😆
That is beautiful! I watch Sharon all the time also. You are so right when you say they make it all look so easy.
I think 🤔 I was just born to love art. As my siblings went into theater I gravitated to art. I love 💕 your art it is so beautiful!
Oh, that's fabulous! I kept hollering to you to roll up some balls of tape, then tada, you had balls of plastic. You did a beautiful job on this, can't wait to see more of these.
I LOVE IT💖
Very creative.
Very cool! Love bling!❤️😊
You could always put a tall slim vase in the middle with a couple of flowers in it. X
So beautiful
SO ELEGANT!! LOVE THE WAY IT CAME OUT!! YOU ARE SO INSPIRING!!
Das ist sooo supertoll!!!🌸🌸🌸
Beautiful!
Beautiful 💯
Turned out nice
You've done so many clever, beautiful, creative works of art, but this is by far my favorite! It's beyond gorgeous and definitely creatively inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing it all with us and preparing us for the eventualities that you are faced with.
It’s crazy here in the USA so a lil laughter is good. You always make me smile! And it’s hard right now!
super pretty!
I just love watching your videos... You are such a talented woman... I love your spirit and you seem so kind and loving❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏.. I am so happy that I found you!!!
WOW!! I'd make another with the rhinestone material facing up, and "clam shell" it with a ruffled edge, then add something down in the center to represent a pearl. ❤
A pearl ball (with a light in it?) 🤩
Wow so pretty. I love the end display with the Ferrero Rocher chocolates and the tray underneath. So so beautiful!
I love how it turned out. Yes, those ladies do make it look so easy. You're one of those ladies. All of you are so talented. I love how you displayed it at the end. One of your beautiful art pieces on another one of your beautiful art pieces. Fantastic!!! 😍😍😍
Beautiful
You are so creative and so brave to just jump in and do it. You are delightful!😍
Thoroughly enjoyed this project, it is gorgeous - and thank you for a longer video too Julie x
The struggle was real!! That would look amazing filled with coloured glass Christmas tree balls, maybe gree, silver and red or red and silver. :)
Love that.
You have such an artistic and inventive mind! Keep it up, wonderful lady. We love it! Another idea for the centers on something like this would be a sheer, holographic white ultrafine glitter...just a light dusting-as an alternative to the diamonds. Just gorgeous work, Jule!
As usual you have created a unique, beautiful piece.
you could lightly iron the sheets flat between some baking paper... and maybe tie a couple stitches between the sheets to hold them together. good improvised idea with the popsicle sticks on the edges! I was going to suggest a bead of hot glue lol. and you could just wad up some newspaper to put under the folds or put your bowl/jar down and run a star pattern of tape over top of them, taping them to the table. and use the tape to help you create folds. you could also tape two bowls together, or even tape a wad of paper between to make a wide bottom base.
Wow! Beautiful and your very patient and never give up.
Stunning ! 🤩🤩🤩 Thank you for sharing the process and 👏👏👏👏👏
So pretty the ferro rocher look perfect in it great way to serve them for a party or Christmas xx
Ok, I saw one of the videos you mentioned. I think the step you missed was when you unmolded the base dish. The other lady put masking tape around it about halfway up, so she was able to keep most of the height and it didn’t totally flatten out. I think it would save you a bit of trouble. But yours still came out sooo beautifully ❤️
It turn out beautiful. I love watching you
Not to shabby for your first try, I make quite a few if these and I know just how trying they can be. Good job👏👏👏💓💓💓
Julie, it’s good to see you are going nice and strong! I just finished watching you’re video of white and black coasters white the silver edges and they turned out beautiful! Along with the wedding cake. You have many talents dear! 🥰
It looks great, looks like a crystal bowl.
It’s beautiful, it looks vintage. ❤️
Just Stunning Julie... Love it... Be proud Love ❣
Top Job!! Those are one of my favorite candies, YUM!!
This turned out so beautiful! I have a ton of this same mesh hanging around my craft room, in all different colors. I may have to give this a try!
Ur just amazing...
Awesome
Hi Julie!! 👋👩🦳️👋 This is really pretty Julie!! What a good idea track to start down.
❤️️🧡💛💙💜
What about saving toilet paper and kitchen rolls or even different diameter's of PVC pipe, to use as variable height props, instead of the paint pots? You could cover over the ends, put sand (or other weighty stuff) inside, and put double sided tape on one end to stick them in place on your board.
You could also tape a lot of yarn, rope and/or strips of material to the bottom of the jars. You could then choose which ones to use to support the folds of your resin.
You might even think of building a frame to put around your piece to attach the yarn, material, or tape to when creating the folds. The higher the sides, the more variability you have.
You are so full of ideas and inventive, and I love watching and listening to you!!
Sending you lots of love from Oregon, USA!! 🥰️😍💖😍🥰️
God bless to you and yours, Julie
That turned out amazing! Great idea💡
Pretty
Wow! So beautiful
Just gorgeous!!
Brilliant idea ! You could also put a small glass vase inside for a small posy of flowers ❤
You're ingenious! Wow!
I wonder if you could use a needle and thread, or fishing line, and sew the pieces together in a few spots.
That's what I was thinking as well.
I’m so going to try this just need the crystals for the edges 💜💜💜 Thank for sharing 💜
WOW!
You are amazing. I love this!!!!
Maybe someone has suggested to put a thin layer wiped on of resin at the bottom before laying the cloth down, it should adhere much better before pouring. looks great so far I am still watching. ok after watching almost all of it I suggest a balloon for your mold, it won't stick either, or use one of your previous bowls as your mold lay over.Kiki
Suggestion. Maybe you could put a stick pin on each end to pull them tight to keep the folds out? You can remove the pin when they got soft. But they would be tight, and they wouldn't move away from each other on the seams.
Sparkling!
It is beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
yay doing a coster i have for once
WOW, that looked stressful! It turned out great!
Beautiful!!!!!!
Hmm maybe next time put the diamond fabric in a mold to help from the resin running away so much haha but love this idea very elegant!!
Maybe use double sided tape and tape it In the middle to your board then remove it when you flip it over? It's awsome so worth the work. Ps. You can color those big gems with alcohol inks then lay them out to dry. They come out very pretty.
pretty
Very beautiful thank you
Love it!! Maybe if your bottles keep sliding away you could use blutack on the bases to keep in place 🤷
Nice job! I could see putting a phone to charge on the outer area. You should try making a charging station? Be interesting.
Thank you for sharing!
It's so SPARKLY! I love it! I am curious as to what it would look like with a bit of color. (transparent of course) It's so pretty though!
Gorgeous. You had to work really hard for this one but it is beautiful.. Way to go
