This is beautiful! A little helpful hint though, pour a thin layer of resin, lay all of the steampunk things into it, let it harden and then you don’t have to worry about them moving around. Add more steampunk in different layers and let each layer harden as you go.
@@PouringYourHeartOut I saw you put the copper mica powder in the mould then the cogs and keys. Then resin. I think the person was recommending putting resin in first, just a thin layer, then put pieces in.
Lol I agree with you on not fast forwarding...how else are we going to learn. Maybe 2hrs instead of 3 though, I think I'd run out of ways to distract my dogs from noticing my absence 🤭
You could do a different dragon every day and I would watch every single one! Your dragon is so cool and detailed. I'm saving up so I can buy the mold from you. You have so many amazing molds and if I could, I would buy them all! Love the excitement in your voice. I smiled all the way through!!!💙
@@angelfromhellshawna I'm in. Id love to get her molds!!! Stupid shipping costs anyway. Or we could all move to Australia!! Have her find us a big house. A bedroom for each and a studio for each!!! I think aussie looks amazing!!!
I find watching you work, create, is a thoroughly relaxing and entertaining use of time. Never are you too long or boring. Thank you Julie for sharing the good times and your not so good times. You remind me to keep on going.❤❤
I love watching you Julie and agree that the longer the better, love that we get to see all of what your doing and steps. Thank you plus you make me have a laugh at the same time. x
I am truly at a loss for words on this one. Just blown away by how beautiful this came out. I watched every step and as long as this took you, it truly paid off. Great work Julie!!!
I love everything about this steampunk dragon. The colors with all the assorted gear make him look fierce and Lethal... Amazing Results with different pieces and colors...
I like when the videos are longer! Very interesting and educational! I enjoy watching the whole process! This dragon is beyond amazing! Thank you so much Julie! You’re the best!
Saw the notification pop up and was like wait…seriously? See the video and am awed how amazing he looks. Granted all the dragons you’ve done with this mold are amazing.
OMG, that is fabulous! A Clockwork Dragon! As soon as I saw it, I thought for sure my son and daughter-in-law would love to have one. Really turned out beautiful! ❣
Julie You have become a friend to us. We don't get to talk to you but I grab my coffee and a relaxing seat and take in all you have to offer. Please don't shorten your videos. We enjoy our time with you.
Please don't think you are boring us .to me watching the process is more fun than the finished product and this is a beauty. And also we learn from watching your videos
Julie, everytime I watch you create one of your gorgeous pieces of art, I say "Ohhhh THAT'S my favorite" 😆 and this one is no exception....I think this one's my favorite. Until next time, that is... ❤️🐉❤️🐲❤️🐉❤️
i was at hobby lobby the other day and they were selling the molds to make the steampunk gears and such out of resin ...you shuld check and hopefully find it ...saves me cash on the pre made bags alot already
@PouringYourHeartOut oh you know she will as you know how crazy she is about dragons thanks Julie for giving her the opportunity as there's not that many decent big dragon moulds about xx
I absolutely love watching you work…it’s so relaxing. This piece is just amazing. I even had to show my husband, and he loved it. He thought it was really cool. ❤️
I didn't fast forward this I just wanted to give her a suggestion for the next one. This one turned out beautiful it is so awesome I love the way it turned out. And I like the way you did layering. It is time consuming but as long as you're having fun honey that's all that matters
That is AMAZING! ❤ I've seen some people put Aileens tack it on the back of charms to hold them still in a mold before. Might help you and reduce the number of layers you have to do. I absolutely love when you do these type of videos. 🤗
I found a package at Michaels with about 70+? ( Already opened and package trashed) assorted cogs and wheels. $3.99! No keys tho.🙄 Impulse buy and then I see this video!!!😂😅❤ As always Julie. You've helped me. Thank you so much for all of your hard work teaching us the wonderful " how to's" you do.❤
As soon as you rubbed the spine for bubbles, I said NOOOOOO, bc I knew the mica would come out! Glad you caught it. Also I thought, was there too much put inside but NO WAY! I'm so glad you understand how to work with your mold and to arrange things bc it's just BEAUTIFUL!!!! I Love every little detail!!!! The copper is awesome too!
Now I know I've been watching you a long time! This is the third intro sequence/music I'm seeing! [I like it!] 💖💖💖💖 I haven't seen the video yet, but I know it will be AWESOME! Thank you, Julie! Take care and stay safe
This dragon has to be the best one yet! Every day I live vicariously through you because I'm on a fixed and can't afford extra such things. So I enjoy watching your art. Which is ❤OUTSTANDING ❤
I don’t mind what you make. I watch them an see a massive wealth of information and love your imagination. You could make a pebble driveway be an amazing work of Resin art! I love your projects. ❤❤
I absolutely love " Steam Punk" have several sunglasses in the Steam Punk theme. I love the way this dragon turned out. I calculated 24 ounces on resin, which is not bad for a cool piece of art. Julie, this is absolutely a masterpiece. Thank you so much , just brilliant. BTW I enjoy watching all the steps in your videos. 1 hour or 3 hours doesn't matter to me. 🤗💞
The Time keeper dragon,,, Julie you really out did yourself this time he's gorgeous all the little gears placed in all the right places make him look so unique,, compared with other dragons. Wonderful job done.🐉🐲
Best dragon and dragon mold I have EVER seen, Julie! 😊❤ I'm not a 'dragon person', but this is truly beautiful! ❤ If the mica powder floating around drives you crazy (like it does me), I wonder...would a quick spray of varnish work? I mean, before the resin is poured? I'm really tempted to try it next time I use my metallic mixes or metal or chameleon powders. Huh! Still need to get in more 360+ after my horrible disaster. Ugh! I also want that Tabletop. 😊 You already know how I love your longer videos and fast forwarding. Won't do it! It IS funny, though, to see your hands suddenly fly into hyperdrive on occasion. 😁😆 Thank you, Julie, for this fantastic demo! ❤❤❤
Fairyspun Fibers. I tried the spray idea, a few months ago. Not on mica but very fine glitter. I did not like results. It splayed out the glitter and it was floating all over my canvas. I usually do one color at a time. Let dry, shake off excess and repeat. Controlled lines of glitter and clean areas elsewhere. I was hoping I could lay out lines and carefully and far away, do a coat over everything at same time. Nope. Jmo😊
Another beauty Julie! It was so exciting watching all the bits being revealed gradually! Can’t wait for my dragon mould to arrive in the Uk!! Watch out for the postie every day!
Most videos I watch on you tube are an hour or more. I prefer longer videos. It is my "TV". Gorgeous dragon. You were very clever to do a steampunk one! He is wonderful.
This is a beautiful piece of resin art. If you wanted to enhance the top you could have tried a iridescent or pearlesent Mica Powder in a little resin and paint it on as a top coat, just a suggestion for next time.
This is really really cool Julie 😎 Had alot of fun watching you making this . Take your time Julie. You take as long it takes you do your videos the right way.
I do adult coloring and one of my favorite types is Steampunk - esp. the people. I enjoy shading the pictures I do and found a way to shade with the ink pens. With pencils, a blender pencil is great. Depending on the type of coloring page (only buy the books that are blank on the back of a picture), I may do all pencil, all pen or a combination of both.
STUNNING! I have the same steampunk pieces that I use for jewellery, but I have never made anything that comes to close to looking as amazing as what you've made here! So, so impressive.
🙋♀️❤ I'm glad you heard me warn you through the screen, about that last claw! Lol. It's gorgeous! So cool. The gold in the black is excellent! Love it!
I usually don't like steam punk, but this dragon is cool. Also, I enjoy watching your entire process. If I don't want to watch a long video when you upload one, I just save it for later. But I watch all your videos eventually, long and short. Please don't change.
