You're absolutely right, if you watch most big companies they're always asking for your email. And, in most of the cases, they are offering something so valuable that you give it to them - it's either a discount code, early access or just pure information. I remember opening the emails from a company just because at the bottom of it there was a top-10 links to check - basically a list of articles, youtube videos, just good content that I didn't know it exists! My ideal customers don't use email to communicate. They mostly use WhatsApp. How can I apply this newsletter strategy given that WhatsApp is an instant messaging app?
And Apple knows that email is important and thats why i don't recommend using signin with Apple on your application because when a new user come to your app and clicks signin with apple, apple will give you a temporary email and later will forward you marketing email to the primary email and at any moment they will stop forwarding you email the put themselves as the middle man between you and your users

Love your advice Brian but I disagree! I delete 99% of emails because they all look spammy. I think its very poor method by companies n entrepreneurs! its very forceful method which makes me NEVER wanna buy from them
Or build a product and company with retention and brand. It's too hard to come up with good content daily for an email newsletter, so a lot of times I just end up adding to the noise.

The speed in which you speak, and visual business of your videos make me exhausted. Too much going on, too fast, and repetition. There is no button on your video to slow the speed.

Just write them like you are writing to a best friend, think about helping that one person. Write it for them.
