I agree, but when I look at AI generated search results I usually check the source they provide too, so that’s something to consider. Wondering if others do that too.
Don't be too hard on faceless videos. They provide an enormous amount of information without a personality getting into the way. They are great for education.
Sure but giving information isn’t the same as marketing. You have to build a connection which can be done faceless but it’s much harder.
I don’t think he’s being hard on them, just being honest about it being better with a human.

The thing I've been hearing recently about having long & short form content is that, the short form might attract alot more audience than the long form. But the people who you attracted are the type to consume short form content, not long form. Therefore YT will show your long videos to them, but they won't watch it at all. Jump ship after the first few seconds. & then YT stops pushing your content cuz they think it's shit
I don’t think there is anyone else who makes marketing as digestible as you do - as it should be, in small chunks, for folks in other professions which have nothing to do with social media or marketing - what a way to win on YT 😉 THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤❤❤ 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌

Hey Wes, I have a question regarding Facebook ads for long customer journeys / high-ticket products and services.
My client has a 25% no-show rate on average, but we're seeing a 50% no-show rate from my leads.
I've been running ads getting people in for a free consultation and giving them $1000 off the procedure if they decide to follow through, so the offer isn't the problem.
What would you do to attempt to solve the no-show issue?
I think you need to ask a qualifying question or 2 in the lead form to figure out who's serious and who isn't. You'll get fewer opti-ns, but the ones you do get should be more qualified. NExt, you can send out a "what to expect on our call" video to get the prospect slightly more invested in showing up.
I think it's beyond valuable to learn an open source image editor and an open source video editor. I use gimp and davinci. It puts me in total control.

Is there any issues with creating a channel with mainly repurposed videos ? Aside from giving the credit to the creators? I have thought about this for beauty care tips.
Well you wouldnt get any marketing value out of it. Channels like that are really more set up for YT ad revenue which is gonna be minimal.
@WesMcDowellInc good point, my idea behind it was to mix affiliate marketing within certain posts to highlight a product and hopefully get some sales. So use their content but try and sell my links, not sure how ethical or effective that would be. Thanks for replying

How are these YT video podcasts different from other videos / webinars, etc.?
I think YT shorts are easier to access and more in demand.
Think of YT podcasts as longform talking head videos, usualy between multiple people. Its essentially a podcast that's just being filmed too. AS opposed to a webinar that has slides, etc.

You’re not wrong, the only problem is I need to be an influencer first then sell tshirts, but in reality I just want to sell t shirts and not be an influencer. In all honesty this whole new form of marketing is turning to be totally bad… there are industries with such limited amount of content that you can create in order to gain followers, not yo mention the time you need to dedicate to it

Podcasts are all well and good, but you need to be, or have a team that are charismatic enough to carry it. The company NEXT (UK high-street retailer) recently did this in the UK and their guests got destroyed in the comments to a point where they had to turn the comments off.
How do you feel about quizzes for the services and trades industry?
They can work very well if the quiz topic is the right one. It needs to be relevant, not just a "what's your ____ personality type?" If you're stuck on a good topic, ChatGPT can be a great brainstorming partner.
