Not to mention, the roads are all trashed in the wasteland. You couldn't get 100 yards without encountering ruined asphalt. But what could be possible is hoverbikes. Scavenge the thruster units off of several Mr. Handys, strap 'em to a frame, add some controls - hoverbike! It would have to be light to hover, so it couldn't do or sustain a lot of damage, but it could traverse the ragged terrain of the wasteland. And who wouldn't want to enter the Watoga Grand Prix?
Neither Bethesda game seems to fit drivable cars by both map design and likely game engine or such would struggle What could MAYBE happen could be bikes, there is plenty of those and they would need to deal with fraction of things compared to car, also bike wpuldnt be OP because it gives no resistances as it isnt covering you, and would provide only faster travel speed compared to sprint, likely should also drain APs slower, as tradeof, you cant attack from bike, maybe only pistols and one handed melee or such, that would give actually solid reason to pistols exist in game at all as they are totqlly outclassed by other stuff in 99% of cases, also bike would have some weigth and would need to be deployed similarly as PA is, so you should carry one only if you use it enough Or horses.. if they decided to retcon that one thing
They are never going to add cars to 76. The results would be funny if they tried though. Starfied wasn't designed for cars and Bethesda jammed one into that game. None of the NPC's were designed or updated to interact with cars.
Amongst some fun Fallout 4 mods were a functioning motorbike and a large motorised Giddyup Buttercup. They were clunky (the bike especially) but they were fun. But trusting the 76 community of yahoos to all drive responsibly? Not a chance. It took 5 years just for people to figure out they need to become conduits in Encryptid. Also, the game would crash even more often than the players! Ah, but we can still dream. I'll be the guy in the Fusion Flea...
motorcycle bikes would be a better option

It would be like driving in Michigan!
@@RickGamesNow I'm living there (unfortunately), and you couldn't be more right. Stupid Wretched Witchmer...
My wife has family there that we visit. lol
Lol, all very good reasons but i can run and get ahead of the map loading, can you imagine the mess if we could move any faster!
It would make for some great glitchy content! lol
Could work if was like the power armor system. You magically take off a car of your pocket, like you get your 200 lbs T-65 of your inventory
That's some Cambridge Polymer Labs LLC thinking right there!!!
Let's hope Thebesda will learn in Fallout 5.
I'm going to retire for the second time before we get Fallout 5. lol
And that would be the reason why you would wear power armor because it'll be like hitting a brick wall
That might make it worth having cars. Just so I could watch. lol

Hahahahahaha. The fact that you even had to make this is insane. Hahahah.
Fire and steel was best Fortnite season so many cars so much mayhem 🎉
