Thank you! I have avoided other guides others have posted, but watched this. Now that I know what it's about, it doesn't sound terribly exciting, despite the nice new weapons/power armor. Just seems to consist of shooting a bunch of bullet sponges over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....
This is pretty much all raids ever are in any game. Powerful bosses with mechanics. They just skipped add sections and hidden mini bosses. Some people don't enjoy it for whatever reason.

My comment is rooted in the redundancy of the big events; they feel like they're just running the same playbook, with the aim being to shoot a lot. Raids - shoot a lot. Daily OPs - shoot a lot with a time limit. Expeditions - shoot a lot without a time limit*. Caravans - shoot a lot while escorting a brahmin. I know: it's a looter-shooter. What am I to expect? *I will say that out of what I've played from that list, I find the Expeditions the most interesting because of the extra activities involved.

Just got done trying it out and honestly it seems like if your anything other than some kind of insane bloodied PA build its almost impossible to get past the first boss, i dont wanna have to dump all my ammo and meds just trying to survive the first boss fight
Most of the bloodied players have tons of scrap 20 thousand or more each i'm in the low thousands and though its easy to make ammo it would take all of what i have tempting though who knows :)
Great video, im new to 76.. have played rpg’s/mmos for 2 decades. This game really is a gem. I dont understand why it isnt on more peoples radar. I liked it enough to sub. Playing on pc.. havent had a disconnect or crash yet. Runs really well.
I've set up a base right outside the raid zone so that I can immediately have me and my team come out of one repair rearm refuel and jump right back down

How much ammo do you estimate will get you through? I run an unyielding build with quad railway and fixer. This raid looks like a massive ammo drain lol
Can someone tell me this: do you have to find the gleaming depths to have it on your map or do you have to start the blue ridge caravan part first to access it? It’s not showing up on my map at all. I’ve got all the updates though apparently. There’s slots for the 4 star upgrades but I can’t access the raid
I see the mole miners can be staggered by Pain Train and mini shredder, wonder if you can freeze them with Cold shoulder to slow them down? I jetpacked over one and still got taken out. Power Armor Reboot and mysterious stranger *may* help with autorevive, but they didn't work for me. There is a video showing it working, just a maxed card is 40% chance.
Did they make a final "balancing" change to the raids after the PTS? Me and 3 other level 800+ cannot get past the first level. We got close, but good god. Edit: We're on PS.
Guys don’t forget, you can always just play a different game if you don’t like the direction the game has gone. They have given support to this game when everyone called it dead for years. Any other company have abandoned this long ago, I’m happy they turned the game around and give me effort. If it were COD you’d spend $70 every year for bare minimum.

How do we stop the final boss from constantly freezing our teams games? Would have beaten the thing 30 times by now but because 2 to 3 peoples game freeze through out we've beaten it barely 3 times after wasting 10s of thousands of bullets and thousands of stim packs.
My team lost 4 good runs on Ultracite Terror to console crashes. I hope Bethesda fixes them soon. I was itching for the Day One clear today. But the crashes were too much after everything we went through to get to the end
Me and 3 other 800+ levels can't get past the first level. Don't feel bad, I think they tweaked the final update. But maybe we just don't know what we're doing either. :)
Same here, I am over level 1000 and gets instantly one shot killed by the first boss, the stationary turret. Not sure these bossfights meant to be this challenging?
Seems like I can forget playing this with bloodied character without power armor. The part with destruction of the crystals, couldn't you stand on top of one of those poles/walkthroughs?
what is the ammo situation like in the raids? are we going to have to walk in with 10,000 rounds for our non auto weapons and 30,000 for our automatics? is the drop rate for ammo going to hold up to our expenditure?
If you're going to run the raid you will need a ton of stims and even more ammunition I'm talking in the 10s of thousands and pray you don't wipe to many times.

This type of raid seems to fit F76 well, as you don't want to need comms. The mechanics are pretty straightforward and it will just be a matter of working out proper signals to other players, which I'm sure won't take long to standardize. Thank you for the great video.
I would not even consider this a raid. Half the point of a raid is the use of teamwork with a VoP. This feels more like a tough group activity that can be brute forced with minimum strats.

Just finished the raid, definitely fun and not heavily taxing. Fairly simple with a full competent team. Hardest part is just figuring out mechanics and how to not get killed which is fairly straight forward
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, it looks to get stale after one raid. I think it was a decent idea, however, no one really enjoyed the expeditions when they came out, the newest caravan quests are buggy and can't be completed half the time, so I really don't hold much hope that the raids will be any better. I'll try them at least once, but will most likely just go back to camp building.

Yes, the new Raids are just bullet sponges we are fighting & nothing original apart from the level 2 Mole Miners. The issue I have with it is that Bethesda want teams to fight their way through & as all the Daily Op’s & Expeditions have shown most players don’t want to be in teams so after a short period of time I reckon Raids will die off as there will not be enough players doing them. What they should do is try to have mob based battles like the SBQ & the Molerat Titan. Loads of players join in on them as they’re more exciting & fun. I wish Bugthesda would come up with something original within the context of mob battles & not these stupid “teams “ based fights.
Ugh… the raid is the most original pve content there is in the game wtf are even talking about lmao. Lots of mobs = original but boss fights with mechanics = lame? Lmao. Bullet sponges is what a raid boss is, the fights are long so that you have to do the mechanics and not just zerg it. If you’ve never played something like WoW or Destiny and thus have never experienced a raid, trust me you will enjoy it. Especially with a team.

Did you not read where he said most people prefer not to be on a team despite the benefits? Even on full servers you rarely see more than a couple of teams. So, forcing players to play how the studio wants you to play rather than how you want to play is the problem that games like Helldivers 2 and others are having. And if I wanted to play the way studios wanted me to play, I'd play Helldivers.

Yes, the new Raids are just bullet sponges we are fighting & nothing original apart from the level 2 Mole Miners.
The issue I have with it is that Bethesda want teams to fight their way through & as all the Daily Op’s & Expeditions have shown most players don’t want to be in teams so after a short period of time I reckon Raids will die off as there will not be enough players doing them.
What they should do is try to have mob based battles like the SBQ & the Molerat Titan. Loads of players join in on them as they’re more exciting & fun.
I wish Bugthesda would come up with something original within the context of mob battles & not these stupid “teams “ based fights.
Ugh… the raid is the most original pve content there is in the game wtf are even talking about lmao. Lots of mobs = original but boss fights with mechanics = lame?
Lmao. Bullet sponges is what a raid boss is, the fights are long so that you have to do the mechanics and not just zerg it. If you’ve never played something like WoW or Destiny and thus have never experienced a raid, trust me you will enjoy it. Especially with a team.

Did you not read where he said most people prefer not to be on a team despite the benefits? Even on full servers you rarely see more than a couple of teams. So, forcing players to play how the studio wants you to play rather than how you want to play is the problem that games like Helldivers 2 and others are having. And if I wanted to play the way studios wanted me to play, I'd play Helldivers.

The raid is exactly a reason for us to optimize and become "OP". It’s the ultimate goal.

gotta love major points of game progression that just make half of all builds useless(melee in this case)
And low health builds. So all my characters are fucked. Thats Bad development that 50% of the playerbase cant do this unless they completely regear their character builds.
Bethesda have been fucking up all year tho. I'm not changing my build just to access 1 piece of content. Il wait til somebody finds a bug or glitch to cheese it and just do that.

So OP that all the build videos push the same cookie cutter build, gear, and weapon. Mind you, a game built on player build diversity, loaded too the gills with multiple different gear and weapons to create said builds... And your pulling a tantrum because your Uber cheese solo build is not viable in a group content activity built around endgame difficulty and strats? I mean, I know some of your generation has this sense of entitlement going, but holy crap. Your glass cannon builds is not viable in a raid where if die, it's a wipe. If you're that selfish and self-centered to expect everyone to wipe fights just because you keep on dying due to your low health build, it shows you're complete disrespectful nature for other people and their time they are investing. Other players should not have to adjust their build to make up for your lazy ethics.

This seems quite boring and too heavily focused towards ranged builds. This is bad and I see the raid being ignored by most after a few goes.
