Generous King Charles Becomes Patron For Hundreds of New Charities

- King Charles has taken on more than 300 new charity affiliations following a detailed review of royal patronages.
But another 200 organisations have lost their royal associations amid a shortage of working royals.
Conclusions from a major review of more than 1,000 patronages and presidencies held by the King and Queen and those previously taken on by Queen Elizabeth II will be shared with organisations in the coming week.

there are some patronages our Monarchs inherit, Monarchs are the only ones who do inherit some of the patronages, such as the Royal British Legion

I know that RP English is no longer considered fashionable in your country. To me, as a Texan, that’s a shame HM King Charles has such a beautiful speaking voice.
RP is still widely spoken, especially in media. The King speaks with a posh accent, not RP or The King's English. The pronunciation of some words are different in the Posh accent. RP is still widely spoken and it's what is normally spoken for news, documentaries, etc. Perhaps what you are expecting is for everyone to use a Posh accent. It is mostly older upper class people who have that accent. If you notice, the younger royals do not speak that way. They use RP.

American politicians should take notes from the royal family. The Royal family dedicate their lives to being the best diplomates in the world
You should go back to school. The UK has its own set of politicians. Politicians and political entities and Royal Families ARE NOT THE SAME THING! The Royal family are apolitical and are not involved in governance or politics! That is what the PM, Parliament, and The Government which is only in HM's name do. You are comparing apples and oranges! It's not the same role nor is it of the same nature! Monarchy is not politics! If you want to compare government leadership, you don't compare the US government and politicians to the RF. You compare them to who is at Downing Street, the political leaders, and Parliament. Politicians are temporary and elected. The Royal Family is not, and they have to represent people of all political affiliations which is why their diplomacy is very different from that of politicians. It's not remotely the same.

Lol. He barely finished a year of his reign. We have no idea of what his legacy will be depending also on events that happen which affect the UK. We have a World war looming, so he may end up, like his grandfather and great-grandfather, being another war king. George VI is mostly recognized for his role in the UK during the World War. His legacy will be affected by things that happen in the UK during his reign and how he responds to them as King.

A war king is a questionable position. Let's not forget military actions were taken during the late queens reign as well, not all with success. She was/is not called a war Queen.

When I say "war king" I don't mean that he will be known to be like Edward I or Henry V, but the major events that occur during his reign define his legacy.
