i honestly wouldn't be too surprised if the monarchy falls with charles. the guy can't seem to help putting his foot in it 😑too bad if so cuz will and kate would've made an amazing royal pair. that said if elizabeth II really does end up the last great monarch of england, i hope they give her the epithet "the Great". it would be fitting considering england as a country arguably began with Alfred the Great.
@@seraphik Though I’m not a fan of Charles, I still think we have to support him for the continuity of the monarchy and in honour of the late queen that devoted her whole life to the role.
She knew but not when. She knew her time was short, so she had all her family close by. Harry should have visited, as he was not able to get there in time of her last moment. I wonder about him, it seems to me Prince William is extending a olive branch to Harry, and king Charles definitely sent him his love for Harry and Meghan in his first speech to England. I don't see him bending much to love and forgiveness. Yet we know little what they all express behind doors. I'm glad she was so keen minded to the end. She was at peace I think with her extrodianory accomplishments, her smile so real and warm. American as I am, when certain aspects of this final goodbye are seen...King Charles speaking of his Mom in his first speech, Princess Anne, Princes Edward, Andrew and even the wives faces so full of grief, the curtsy from Princess Anne in Edinburgh as The Queen coffin went by. It just tears you up I never realized the depth of feeling I had for this great lady and Queen until this time of mourning. I will miss her I think always. I'm glad Biden is going to represent us at her funeral. King Charles III will be an outstanding King, especially with the help of his son, his"beloved" wife, Princess Anne and his brithers.

I remember during the 9/11 attack, she personally called the Buckingham head of military orchestra to play but change to America National Anthem and then the radio announcing all British to stop everything to pray for 5mins. Ppl on the streets suddenly stop and started crying. That would be the best sympathies she gave to America. 💖💖😢😢

My grandma died in August. She was 93 and was relatively healthy and could walk around just like the Queen. Then one morning after she finished her breakfast, she went back to her room to take a short nap like she usually does and never woke up. People at the age can go anytime even when they looked completely fine a few days before.
The timeline is similar...alerts about the Queen's health went out around or just after noon UK time, as if whatever struck her occurred at mid- or late-morning.
I really think we and the world will never see the like of her again, holding the old world of a battered war weary country and the new technological world together, she embodied constant steadfastness. RIP My Queen 🌹
what a phenomenal woman! She inherently knew that less is more and the service to her country was unparalleled. Such a sharp mind and phenomenal work ethic. I have heard that she was wakened every day, at 7am and never had a sleep in, in her entire life. I will never get used to singing God Save the King. It will forever and always be God Save the Queen for me.
I am sure Harry had his reasons why he did not come to visit earlier- but I lost both of my parents in my childhood & never knew either side grandparents,,, the family was truly blessed to have her for as long as she lived,,, as old as she was I would have made every possible attempt to go see my grandmother knowing she was at the end of her life. Condolences to the family/friends and county upon their loss.. Long live King Charles III.
I am sure Harry will always regret his not visiting her during his visit to the UK. I'm guessing he felt some guilt over that interview, and Meghan's lies about racism. He did try to get to Balmoral in time, but was too late. No doubt Meg had hoped for a family visit and photographs, so was disappointed. Harry's loyalties have been divided. He missed seeing both of his grandparents during their last days on Earth.
Being an American and part of one of the first countries that crushed the shackles of Bristish Imperialism I still cannot help but look back at this woman. So full of duty and dedication and shed tear for her and be filled with admiration on a job well done!
What a load of sanctimonious rubbish. They were British colonialists, in States often named by those very same colonialists after various British monarchs or their consorts, so what were those shackles of Bristish (sic) Imperialism? Rest in peace your highness queen Elizabeth II. Condolences to the British Royal Family from Albania! As a woman, I appreciate the enormous work that Queen Elizabeth had to do with her example to change the mentality of a male-dominated society by advancing the emancipation of women. You have all my esteem Queen Elizabeth!
Thank you for your kind words about our dear departed queen. However, her correct title is Her MAJESTY Queen Elizabeth II, not Her highness.
It's your majesty not your Highness

@@BeinZilex my thoughts too.
“Because she had always been there and we thought she could be eternal" Boris.I never saw such respect for nobody else. For me, she is the last absolute monarch👑
i honestly wouldn't be too surprised if the monarchy falls with charles. the guy can't seem to help putting his foot in it 😑too bad if so cuz will and kate would've made an amazing royal pair. that said if elizabeth II really does end up the last great monarch of england, i hope they give her the epithet "the Great". it would be fitting considering england as a country arguably began with Alfred the Great.
70 yrs of greatness will not fail so fast!!
Amen
Była monarchą konstytucyjnym. Monarcha absolutny nie dzieli się władzą z parlamentem, rządem etc.
Please dont send Biden!🤦♀️
Please do send President Trump! 👍
How did she go from appointing a PM on Tuesday to dying on Thursday? Just wondering what caused her death? I guess being 96 something sudden happened?

May she be rejoined with Prince Philip and they rest in peace. 💜
I think she knew it might be her last moments, and that’s why she was so switched on, happy and drinking in every last drop of life she could experience. Very sad she has gone! R.I.P Queen Elizabeth ll.

As a USA citizen, my very heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to the family of Her Majesty the Queen.

Oh my god! Just wondering, what was the cause?

They simply didn't want to pay any taxes, and we all feel like that sometimes..........
@@artrandy It was about much more than taxes and you know that. And the repercussions are still being felt. And now it's our turn here to receive a humbling. Something about the queen always reminded me of my late grandma may she rests in peace in paradise. I guess that is why I felt some sort of warmth whenever I saw her, especially when she smiled.
My favorite photo is the last one. She looks frail but so real and lovely. I love her sweater and her ever present handbag. With her cane . She looks vulnerable but not weak,it's a reality look. No one knew that she would leave 48 hours later. I feel like it was my grandmother or great aunt, with her sly smile. Now,she is resting with her beloved husband at her side and " Susan" the first corgi.
