Hi Tina, Can we start the booking process before our visa gets approved? What is the process to get the rental contract and checkin to the property? As inorder to apply for bsn we would need address proof to be submitted. Note I will be travelling for work
Hi! I got a job in the Netherlands (electrical engineering), fortunately in a smaller town. When I try to contact a real estate agency, they ask me a few questions about the company, my salary, where am I from, etc, then within a few days, they reject me without any reasons. Can it be a prejudgement issue based on my nationality? (I'm from Budapest, Hungary, EU)
Depends on your salary most of the time. Most rental properties are above 1000 euro a month and most landlords demand to earn between 3 - 4 times the rent. So if you earn more than 3000-4000 euro's there shouldnt be any issue, if you earn less than that amount the possibilities of really getting a rental contract are very slim and then you need to rely on debit structures to live (family / hospice / AirBNB) instead of credit contracts (normal rental contracts). Most likely thats why you are denied.
@@tim3440 I got there, first, fortunately, I found a family - thanks to our church - with a vacant guest room in their house, and I began looking for appartments myself for rent. I've viewed only two, and rented out the second one. (I didn't like the first one). So the problem was only because I wanted to arrange the rental remotely. My salary is more than the 3x of my monthly rent. Hospice is I think only for students, airbnb would cost more than my salary (100+ EUR/day).
Hi, could u help me for searching room in the Eindhoven for my son as a student. He appear for MS in the Eindhoven university. Need urgent help please... Reply.
Hi Sadia, sorry to hear that you are struggling to get room. Did you join the FB groups mentioned in my videos? In which area you are searching room in Netherlands?
@@djsam3120 Amsterdam, especially if you dont have a network already, is close to impossible to find a place to live. Try somewhere else or pay more for a place.
anywhere between ~300 for a single room in a student house, to around 500-700 euros for your own room in a student apartment building, to around 1000-1400 for your own apartment/house space. but good luck finding literally any of those 700 and less ones. most of them get taken up within minutes of becoming available, and that isn't an exacgeration.
I live in Holland and currently most apartments are more than 1000€ per month. Your best chance to find accommodation is to find a student room. At the moment the situation here is hell and my best advice would to study in another country, unless you are willing to compete with 20 other people for a student room which costs more than 400€ per month.
Depends what you think is a student apartment. Studio between 600-700 euro's a month nowadays. Room between 300-500 euro's a month. And a 1 bedroom apartment around 1100 euro's.
